Configurations

Welcome all!  We are starting out day three with the newest additions to our Configurations range.  This blog post is dedicated to the Trellis Edger.  This die set has a centre trellis die without side cutting edges.  There are two different decorative edges that can be used with the Trellis die or separately for different looks on your projects.  Shown here, you can see how the trellis portion can easily be lines up to create a beautiful frame.  You may have noticed it on day one used with the Tahiti die set; it looks lovely with any of the dies in my range.  If you would like a chance to be able to win this set, just leave a comment on this blog post.  If you have never done so, the directions are posted on the right hand side of m blog, it is very easy to do!  I will be back at noon with more to show!  All for now,
Sue x

This is a beautiful start to day 3. This collection is definitely a must have to join the others. A lovely card too.
Sending special hugs to TXCowgirl, Tanya and her children, who have the most beautiful names, definitely Gregs jewels in his crown. I hope you find peace and comfort knowing he is now at peace after his long hard fight.
June, I hope you managed to sleep and that the leg is feeling easier.
Tina, how is Peter doing, have they got a plan for the lymphatic problem.
Tina and Mick, big hugs that all goes well this time now the peg is fitted and that Mick can start to out weight on.
Elaine, I hope Andrew is feeling a bit better by now, the treatment is harsh and the body is bound to feel overwhelmed. A big hug for him and you.
Tracey, first week nearly over, how has it gone.
To all our poorly bloggers, and missing friends, thinking of you all.

Well Sue, on time, bright eyed and bushy tailed, the other bushy tail is out looking out for her 4paw buddies.
I love anything to do with trellis design but unfortunately not yet invested in your other Trellis die, I know I will at some point though. You have shown this edger beautifully Sue and it's now going on my list which is right here beside me ☺ I'm fortunate to have my birthday a week before the festive season so not long to wait in between surprises. But due to the subjects of your wonderful Shadow Boxes from yesterday, and my monthly market stall they will be right at the top of my ' Need list' I don't have John to distract me today so I'll have to set my phone alarm so that my festive order doesn't take me away from your fantastic new collection. Have a great day Sue.

My heart goes out to Tex and family. Hope you all find peace in your sad hearts.
Daily hugs on their way to you Sue xx

Beautiful Trellis Edger! Gorgeous card!

June Smith said...

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, how did you come up with this trellis one Sue, it is amazing, I am a sucker for trellis work anyway as you know and would dearly love to win this die in the blog launch, oh my 'I want, need, must have' list is growing by the day, it is making it's way even out of my craft room door, can you picture that Sue, a paper trail of my wish list going out the door ha ha !!

I am so sorry I am really behind with what is happening to all my friends on the blog, I promise I will catch up when I feel better, however I see from Pam's comments that TXCowgirl, Tanya and her children have been through such a sad time, my heart goes out to you, sending very special hugs.

I keep thinking of everyone else and wondering how things are going, I pray that the pain is getting easier, the treatment is coming to a close and everyone is safe in the world----- you know what I am trying to say.

With regards to my knee, well the nurse came yesterday and yes it is infected, she took a swab to send to the lab, got to wait 4-5 days to see what antibiotics I will need. Had quite a bad night with the pain waking me up quite a few times, no absolutely shattered this morning. I am not feeling sorry for myself just want this to be healing, it is only at the bottom of the scar now the top has knitted together lovely and doesn't hurt at all.

Anyway for those who are going to one of my favourite show's NEC have a wonderful time, if you see any of the CE crew say a big hello to them all for me please.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

Well here I am again in the wee small hours, lol, commenting. No one is more shocked than me. It is strange being on here this early but rather useful during the launch. I suppose this would be the time to see if I could post before Pam although I won't be working on that challenge out of choice!

June - hope they get that infection sorted. That's all you need. Keep smiling (even if it is through gritted teeth). Hugs x
Txcowgirl - so sorry to hear that Greg had passed away. As you said he is free of pain and in a better place. Sending you, Tanya and the children much love. Take care x

Hi Sue, love the way you have made a frame with the trellis die. A must have!! However, I may need to invest in a new GC as my present one struggles to cut out such fine lines in my other trellis background die. Problems, problems. Will have to go for both. Decision made. Plastic, show me your face. Hugs. Xx P Austen

I am very fond of a trellis design on my cards. Your trellis is lovely and so versatile. The trellis edges are beautiful, too. I did see this trellis used on your earlier card.

Hi Sue,
your configurations elements really do come in to their own with the various things that you can do with them and make with them. I love the fact that they like celtic designs have no beginning and no end so leaves more room for ideas to form and try out. This trellis edger must be symmetrical in the net with it being able to turn and make a corner for a frame, clever leaving it so that it can go other ways other than straight.
love and crafty hugs
