Lovely card Sue, gorgeous. Julia's shows last night were fab, she showed so many new ways to use your beautiful dies, lovely demos. Either Dave Bradford is getting taller or Julia is shrinking but doesn't she look so well.
Kitty have a wonderful holiday. Alison, hope you are rested after your journey. Would have loved to see the Minky whale pod, so graceful.
Patricia, welcome back, hope you had a great holiday.
Elaine, I too would like to see the new you, hope Darren can get a photo posted for you, although I liked the old one too.
Diane, good news the fingers are a little better but they won't be if you keep catching them, take it easy.
Carmen, hope your internet is working now, hiw us the Kid doing.
My little men dud very well yesterday, they looked so grown up, they were very quiet last night but I think it was a lot to take in for them. It is such a traumatic event especially the way Rob died. He would have been so proud of them. Thank you all for your concerns and caring thoughts, it really does help.
Daily hugs to all poorly and missing friends always in our thoughts, hope you are all doing okay.
Gorgeous card.
Love this look, the effect is beautiful xx
Hi Sue
Very interesting looking card today. It's beautiful. Will have to catch up with the video later.

Hi Sue, lovely card today. Love the way the texture paste works.

Woohoo something to watch after work, lovely card Sue. Thanks for sharing, have a\ great day , hugs xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Hi Sue. Intrigued comes to mind, so I'm chomping at the bit waiting to watch what you got up to when putting this lovely sample together. I'm still playing with my Pixies and I'm still not sure what to think, I really am a sucker for delicate 'soothing' colours so that side isn't quite working but looking at so many cards on fb and what you show us, everyone makes the most lush backgrounds etc, whereas mine looks like Cassie has upchucked on a piece of my cardstock !!! So perseverance is needed on my part I think.
Things are moving here, so I'll send my love n hugs and go unlock the door, wave my 2 off and watch your inspiration xxx
Hello Sue, what a stunning card, great video showing how to achieve that gorgeous background. Love the colours you chose. Have a great day all. Bx
Morning Sue.
Thank you a lovely card and great video.
Thank you Pam I shall try to have a good holiday.
Take care all Kitty.
Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, a beautiful sample today and interesting video.
Pam I reiterate everything you have said above. Also I just thought I would say and that although I have never met you or your grandsons, I feel very proud of them for how they were yesterday, it is never a nice thing to go through and at such an impressionable age too, so give them a special hug. Hope you are OK.
I too watched Julia's show last night and again watched it this morning, some interesting techniques there and very good advice.
Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx
Morning Sue, a lovely lacey card today. Like Stephanie, I don't have much success with 'messy' crafting as I call using texture paste etc. But, maybe I should persevere more. I've only just about mastered using gilding flakes so now they're on most of my cards.lol Hugs xx P Austen
Gorgeous card Sue and your video is fantastic at showing the technique used.
Marion S x
Great effect Sue.
Hello Sue,
Lovely card today, gives the impression of a faux stained glass window. I've just started using Pixie Powders so this is another interesting way to use them, something that I will have to try. I always find your videos so informative and you really explain things so well.
Hope that you have a nice day. The weather here is so unbearably hot so that's the perfect excuse to craft.
Beverly from Maryland, USA
Pretty card! Love the Texture Paste!
Good morning Sue. Lovely card, you know I'm a fan of anything messy and the colours are right up my street, will have to save the video for later though.
Julia has been doing a fabulous job showcasing your dies.
Pam, the boy's granddad would be proud of them, I'll echo the rest of your comments. Hugs to all, especially our missing friends. Sue xxx
Hi Sue

Morning Sue, what a striking card. Definitely one to have a play with. Like others my messy crafting sometimes ends up looking like something te cat dragged in, to use one of my Mothers favourite expressions. I will persevere.

WOW!!! What a beautiful looking card!
A gorgeous card Sue. I used the clear texture paste this weekend with a small butterfly stencil and sprinkled different glitters on it. It looks good but now I want to try the pixie powders too. Thank you. Have a good day. Xx

Love,
Donita
P.S. Beverly Fuchs has mastered Pixie Powders!
Good morning Sue
I love the background of today's card I've yet to try pixie powders! Although I love your card I would have used a different colour to black. I prefer pastel colours and only use black as a highlight. I enjoyed the video thanks for sharing, Julia's shows were fabulous!

Pam , Granddad would have been so proud of the twins ,moments like this are very hard to take especially when you are young .xxxx I will echo your lovely words today .

Oooh your top matches the card, Sue, now was that intentional?! Love the background but still don't have the ingredients. Really nice card and thanks for the video and inspiration.
Donita, had you at about 28 so you must be kidding us surely. Tried to 'blow up' your photo but can't.

Good morning Sue,
Absolutely exquisite card, I love doing this style of card as it is such a beautiful way to get a great effect. Loved seeing Julia's show's last night. Yvonne xx
Morning Sue. Another beautiful card. I love the background colours, still need to watch the video to see how you made it. Something else which will have to wait until later as i have appintments all day. The striplet looks like a piece of lace and even with the black card it still looks very delicate. Thanks for the video.
Best Wishes.

Hi Sue
Wow what a lovely card today and a great video, I think I prefer the darker version you used although the one you demoed will probably dry darker. I wondered where you were going with the double layer but it looks fantastic in the end. Thank you for sharing. I might wait a while before I try pixie powders although it might brighten up my dressing!!
Love Diane G xxx
Pam your grandsons were little troupers yesterday, I bet you were all proud of them and you know grandad would have been too. Sending hugs to you all. I'm trying to be good and careful, it's quite hard resisting doing things though! Echoing your comments today xxx
Elaine oh no not what you want, you poor thing. Lots of rest xxx
Beautiful card Sue, I made this the other day and put 'Fathers Day' on it....it is such a lovely masculine card....thank you...luv Ursula xx
Morning Sue
Gorgeous card, the colours blend so well together. Thank you for sharing this technique

Hi Sue, a beautiful card. A lovely background for the intricate delicate die cuts. Thanks for your video.
Lovely :)
Hi Sue This looks interesting. Will watch the video later.
Margaret
Ditto Margaret This looks interesting and I have the ingredients So I will definitely be having a go
Really beautiful...love the powders and will give this technique a try. I think I'll also try the powders with some deco transfer gel, too, that dries shimmery and clear. I found some black foam tape and foam squares that I like to use on projects using black cardstock. I used to take a marker and color the edges of the foam tape that can be seen from the sides, but that wasn't fun to do.
Great video....thanks so much.
Jan D., FL, USA
Just lovely. I must get some more Pixie colours!!!! Thanks Sue x
Hi Sue
Loving the effect of the paste & pixie powders combined, will certainly be giving this a go. I like the effect of the black but I know many people don't like too much black on cards. Thank you for the inspiration.
What a lovely effect! xx
Love the wrought iron effect you get from cutting
the striplet in black cardstock.
Rosemary xx
What a great effect with the pixie powders and texture paste. The colours are perfect too.Thank you Sue.
Gorgeous card design. Yes, I will try this technique of the clear texture paste and those lovely pixie powders. I picked up something today that I have not seen you use on your cards before now. You may have used this product before and I missed it. You used some mounting foam core. I am familar with foam core but not mounting foam core with a sticky side to it. I think using this mounting foam core is brilliant to give a greater depth to one's card design. Thanks for the great video.
I love the combination of clear texture paste and pixie powders and you have used this to good effect on this lovely card.
Teresa
Love the design, but a little too dark for me

Hi Sue
Love the look. Not to if I'd like the pixie powders a bit lighter though.
Hi Sue. I have just watched the recording on how the card was made and I was wondering how you managed to get the pixie powders into such a regular pattern behind the die. It has all become clear now and this is definitely one for me to try. Thanks for the inspiration.

Hi Sue and everyone. A great card clever use of striplets and mask to make a stunning card. Pam you must be so proud of your grandchildren, love and hugs to you all. Elaine, I hope Andrew picks up and enjoys his surprise, you must let us know what it was, love and hugs to you all also to Crewe Trish.
Was it Diane who trapped her fingers? So sorry I am new can't remember you all at mo. Well who ever trapped their fingers I hope they are less painful.
Love and hugs to you all and thank you all for accepting me onto this blog. Is there a Facebook page you are all on ? Xxxxxxxxxxx
Hi Sue, a lovely card (if a little dark for me) and my first thought was of a new stained glass technique. Like the way you created the background with both texture paste and pixie powders to add dimension and although I don't have either, I think I can use your idea of a raised acetate/diecut panel over a piece of perhaps alcohol coloured card to achieve a similar effect. Thank you.
Pam - glad that the twins got through yesterday and I am not surprised that they were quiet, there is a lot to take in the first time. Hugs for you all.
Frances
P.S. Sue - your festive launch must be any day now. Can't wait x
Gorgeous card love the colours.xx
Hi Sue,
This looks fabulous
Beverley W
Hello Sue,
wonderful technique today, thank you.
I'm all behind (stop it Myra) and late today.
Pam, hope you are well and glad that the twins got through yesterday. They will have each other for support and comfort and will reach out when they need more. Are you back to work tomorrow?
Elaine, sorry to read about the knee, you are determined to master more tricks than me on the old wheelie, aren't you? I hope Andrew recovers in time for his Father's Day surprise.
'P' don't blow up our poor Elaine!!!
Yvonne, how lovely to see you but may I just say that your post is quite long enough ha ha. Safe journey back to God's county for mam and dad.
Diane, that 4 litre wine box is far too heavy, put it down ha ha.
I have received my comment winner's prize already but don't want to say what it is until the other two have received theirs as I don't want to spoil the surprise in case they get the same. I am delighted.
Love to all.

Sue this is stunning, the background with the texture paste and pixie powders

Hello Sue
I love this card and I really enjoyed watching the video. So much so I got out my pixies and some clear embossing paste and spent a happy hour playing " let's copy Sue". I think I need more practice lol, most of mine went in the bin! I also enjoyed watching Julia today and have finally succumbed to a few of the Indonesian collection and the Lily of The Valley sneaked into my basket too. Resistance was futile once I'd seen all the lovely samples she showed. So now, I'm broke, and have pixie stained fingers into the bargain.
Pam, Dave Bradford said he had lost a bit of weight that's probably why he looked so tall. Glad the boys coped well on such a difficult day for them.
Crewe Trish, it's a difficult decision as to whether really young children should attend or not. When I lost my beautiful sister last year two of her little ones were six and eight and they chose to go and in some ways they coped better than her older grandchildren who understood more. I'm sure you make the right decision. Big hugs.
Oh Elaine, as if you haven't got enough to cope with hope you get a more comfortable sleep tonight and hope Andrew is well enough for his surprise trip away.
P- that is really not nice of you trying to blow Donita up! Say you're sorry!
Yvonne it's lovely to see you back, hope you are soon up to full steam ahead. Please tell Laine we miss her too when you speak to her. Maureen, how many times do I have to tell you? It's Yorkshire which is Gods own county, it's official, and we even have hymn to prove it.
Love and hugs for all

Hi Sue this is a stunning card. I will be watching the video tomorrow it will be my treat. Take care. Hugs Jackie
Hello Sue,
I love today's card and watched the video with interest! It looks lots of fun and is very effective! I think I may wear gloves! ! Lightweight surgical type ones not my best leather ones!! Saba was going to clean her hands with bleach !! You made no mess at all! Maybe there is a happy medium! ? Your frames are fantastic now that I have both sets it's even better. I have the square ones though.
I have lashed out and bought two of the Indonesian Dies! -Sumatra and Java! Julia did a great job!
Pam - I'm glad the boys coped well yesterday. You must all have been very proud of them.
Elaine - were you a child bride? I knew you were young - but - 28 !! However that's no reason to blow you up!
Maureen says she is all behind but I wouldn't stick a pin in her !! Well not tonight anyway!
Yvonne - good to see you! I'm glad you are feeling a bit better!
Well, I'd better get ready for bed as I'm rather tired which is unlike me at this time of night!
Night Night Everyone,
Love Myra xxx
Lovely card Sue. Will watch the video tomorrow now as getting quite late and I am very tired.
Lovely design, though a bit dark for me. Another technique for the 'must try this'
list.
Take care everyone.
Lovely card Sue, great effect.
I do so love all of your cards Sue and hope to buy some of your dies when my Daughter comes to take me out shopping. I don't have a TV as I am not only low vision but also low hearing and trying to make sense of TV nearly drove me crazy. I do often go to U tube and always watch your videos on my PC with the magnifier on. Thank you so much for being part of my day!
Hi Sue, Great card, I often use Pixie Powders in the Texture Paste and I always get a fabulous background. Love both products.
