Festive Collection

Hi bloggers!  The last post of the day is dedicated to showcasing the new Twinkle Star Background.  It has been done in a five inch square shape as I have had so many requests for square background shapes.  As always, there is no outer cutting edge on the die so you get to decide just how large or how small you want the border to be.  Every piece of fall away from this die is a star of varying size so it can be used for other projects, especially useful in shaker cards I might add!  You will see this background time and time again over the coming months as it was a real go to set.  If you like this one, let me know by leaving a comment which will also get you a chance at winning it too!  That's it for today, but we still have many more days ahead.  6am is the starting time for tomorrow, hope to see you then!  All for now,Sue x

Hi Sue,
This is another beautiful card and a great die. Nice way to end the second day of this amazing launch. Looking forward to day 3!

Pam – 30 people resign? So the head of company preferred to lose 30 people than a few managers! That shows how much the management cares about people. I feel for all these 30 people and for you. It is difficult to work in this environment. Hope you’ll get help from HR & Union.
Myra – I like high heels but I like more that motto.
Theresa G/Yorkie Girl – I really appreciate you and all those who asked about the Kid. This is an amazing blog, where you find so many noble souls. But you know that.
Even the Kid is just a co -worker we got along so well from the very beginning, that why we care so much for him. We are like his second family. He has 3-4 adoptive mother’s in our office. His family is thousands of miles away so we try to help as much as we can.
Laine – Still sleeping?

Have a good weekend everyone,
Still a newbie to Craft / Not longer the newest, or the only Canadian Wilsonette

The Twinkle Star background is superb Sue and the card is stunning. Can see so many cards with this as the background . You have had a 2nd very successful day, you must be feeling extremely pleased that we are all on your wavelength.
Carmen, I dread to think how the Kid would have managed without the suoport of his wonderful caring work family. Hope he starts to improve soon.
France's, you won't believe this but the Management team have decided to do a problem solve to find out why so many are leaving. Why didn't they just ask them. Another pointless waste of time, we are the ones who have to complete their stupid surveys.
Have a restful evening blog buddies, another exciting day tomorrow. Hugs to all, still missing a few peeps, where are you all.

Hi Sue
Twinkle twinkle little star
Oh my how lucky the Wilsonettes are!!
This is a must have - mind you so far I would say all the dies in this launch are must haves x
This is such a beautiful 'twinkly' card. This die will be perfect for so many cards. How does the saying go? A star is for life not just for Christmas x
Well it is the end of day 2 and I am so enjoying this Christmas Party. I hope you are on a high Sue because it is screamingly obvious that everyone is completely in love with all your dies x
I am preparing for the hottest day of the year tomorrow. Everyone likes a bit of sunshine but it is threatening to be 28 degrees or higher. That isn't funny - apologies if anyone is jealous x
Carmen - poor kid. Thank goodness he has such lovely surrogate's there to support him. Sometimes just being there helps so much x
Pam - such a bunch of idiots. Hope they get their comeuppance. Enjoy your weekend my friend xx
Laine - has all the pampering and me time been worth it today? Hope you've had a lovely day. I know - it's a shock to me to that I'm being nice to you - you have Sue to thank. Relish in my charm for now because it will only last as long as the launch if I can keep it up that long x
OK Wilsonettes if I am to keep this early bird facade up for the foreseeable I will need to get some shut eye soon. All this excitement and the early mornings are playing havoc with normality x
Lots of love to everyone especially my blog besties x

Good evening lovely Sue and her crafty crew!

What a fitting way to end the day, a beautiful star filled background that will prove itself useful for so many occasions, an absolute must have from this launch methinks!
Well, what a tiring day, got up early(ish) and headed off into Stirling for a bit of retail therapy and a manicure. Picked up some clothes from the dry cleaner and was disappointed to find that the underskirt of my off white pleated skirt was still covered in blood:-(....no, I havent developed sadistic and psychotic tendencies in my absence, rather, i caught my heel in the door of a taxi and fell out face first landing on my knees thus covering myself in my own blood from the scuffs and grazes. Nevermind, it didn't seep through to the main skirt so all is not lost...it serves me right for leaving it so along to get it cleaned in the first place!
I chose a lovely pinkish purple colour for my nails and toes with a topcoat of mermaid powder sprinkled on for good measure, very pleased with the results...i did contemplate what i like to call Yvonne's tarty red but decided against it after remembering how she ended up looking with it on, tacky or what!:-) She has been rather subdued today, i take it that the parcel of Christmas dies hasn't arrived yet otherwise i would have had a hysterical phone call crowing about it:-) The postman lives to fight another day!
I bought a gorgeous pink flowery dress to match my nails today and nearly had to phone the emergency services to extract myself from it....i tried it on when i got home and managed to pull the zip up halfway before asking my Mum to complete the deed. Unfortunately the zip got caught in the lining and we spent over 45mins trying to prise the zip back down again...my mum even resorted to cutting the lining around the zip but to no avail. Now I'm rather scrawny but even I couldn't pull the dress down over my hips or up over my head but tragedy and further embarrassment was averted when it just pulled down out of nowhere, my Mum was having a hot flush after all the excretion though:-)
Carmen, you cheeky mare! Insinuating that i am still in bed late afternoon is insulting, I don't know what Yvonne has been telling you but the rumours that i am not a lover of early starts are totally unfounded! You are obviously mistaking me with Myra:-) I am left wondering if extending the hand of friendship to you was rather rash on my part, you certainly will have to buck up your ideas quick smart!:-)
Maureen, i came across some coconuts in M&S earlier today and was struck by how small they were...perhaps its wise that you have abandoned your plans to utilise them in your act because i fear that your impressive assets would struggle to fit:-) i have to say that i am permanently scarred now though, i cant look at another coconut without imagining several menopausal ladies dressed in grass skirts doing the Hula dance:-)
Sending huge hugs to all my besties on the blog, hope that you and your loved ones are well.

Love and crafty hugs

Hello Sue,
I'm a big fan of square dies so thank you for pandering to our whims with this stunning background. I'm loving the fact that many of this latest release of dies can be used for other occasions. Thank you Sue for another day of wonderful samples and inspiration.

Myra, have you been on the white stuff again? I'm not sure your third sentence was actually English! Did I ever tell you how much I love you, don't ever change.
Carmen, I have to agree with Myra though, we are serious shoe and handbag addicts. Seconds only to Sues fabulous dies. I'm glad the Kid has support from you and your colleagues, it must be very comforting for him to know he has your love, he is in my prayers. Ps don't tell Laine you are coming to stay with me!
Pam, it sounds like your management are a bunch of numpties, but then most management in big firms tend to be nowadays. Surely someone right at the top must recognise there are serious problems without the need for a survey!
Yvonne I am so relieved that you are still my friend!
Laine, you've done it again! I've just spluttered wine all over myself! Such a waste! I wasn't laughing at you falling out of a taxi, it was the thought of you in M&S spotting the coconuts. And by the way, some of us would struggle to fill a coconut!
Love and hugs for all

Hi Sue. Well you have done it again !!! A gorgeous card with a gorgeous die !!! Your new Twinkle Star background is such a fabulous idea for a die !!! This is perfect, not just for Christmas but for all year round crafting. Like so many other crafters I am sure, I struggle with new ideas for men's cards all the time but your new Twinkle Star background die is exactly that : A Star !!! The perfect die for a man's card with the added bonus of the fall away pieces that can also be used !!! In my opinion Sue, for me, this is another essential die for my crafty stash. I love the card and the colours you have used to. Thank you. Lots of love to you Sue from Tres x x x

Sue, as I'm saying again, these are some of my favorites. I'm going to have to get my crafting friend together and get some of these. I've had a blast all week working with your dies, especially the Nobles collection and I love the ovals. They make such classy frames, especially when you off set them to one side. So pretty. Love to all in your country. Myra from Florida

"Stars at Night are big and bright...Deep in the Heart of Texas! I miss those stars in Texas. Moving on ---
I can see how your Twinkle Star background die will be of great value in die cutting, embossing, using it as a stencil, and using the fall away pieces. Not many dies that you can use for so much. I know it is Christmas time in the crafting world, but I am not ready for SNOW or COLD. I am now just putting away my winter clothes and supplemental heaters. I do like this card though.

Good afternoon Sue and the wilsonettes,
Oh i do like it when you make a twofer die, one that we can use up the waste on another project and nothing goes to waste. You know what us crafters are like, we have the biggest hearts at doing and giving other people but we are also a miserable lot that don't like waste and throwing out good pieces of valuable card, embellishments, etc, hee hee hee. Thank you flower for a needed background that really is not just for christmastime, it's perfect for those loves of our lives that just happen to be of the opposite sex to us and don't see the need or want our beautiful bits and pieces that to us finishes a card of to perfection.
Love and crafty hugs
Norah (glenochil)
