You're Wonderful

Hello bloggers!  I love a card with a frame and this is no exception!  I started by cutting a multi layered frame out of both Duck Egg blue and milk card using the Stitched Lattice Frames die set.  I used the largest and smallest die to create the milk frame and the two largest dies to create the duck egg blue frame and I added mounting foam to both to give them dimension.  Next I cut the Pictor Tri- Gemini die in milk card.  I cut two of one shape and two of the other shape and backed all of them with duck egg blue card.  The longer shapes were added to the inside of the frame on the longer side and the shorter Geminis were added to the shorter side. I cut the Lattice portion of the die set out of milk card and seated the entire frame over it.  I covered a piece of milk card with a sticky adhesive sheet and then glittered it with Iced Snow.  The entire frame was seated over the glittered sheet so it showed through the lattice area.  I stamped a sentiment then created a frame from the Belgian tag die using both duck egg and milk card and seated it over the sentiment.  I attached it in the centre of the frame and added my usual mats and layers to complete the card.  The finished dimensions are 6 3/4" x  8" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Morning Sue. There will be many of us sending this sentiment your way today and everyday so please believe each and everyone that says it.
I will admit that you and your frame dies are to blame for my frame obsession and you can't deny it, you sent me gaga at first until I invested in the set B square collection to go with the original set and everything got framed, but I just can't manage the rectangle and circles sets just yet but in time I hope I will own them. I need the lattice too, maybe a bravery treat for myself once I can get out again after today.
It's a beautiful gift today Sue, but there again everyday spent with your blog is a beautiful gift, so hugs are coming your way along with a lovely day I hope xx

Morning, Sue,
A stunning card today with a beautiful sentiment. Love the duck egg blue card and that stitched lattice frame seems to have found its way onto my wish list lol.

Well, after a dull and miserable day yesterday, which forced me into getting the lounge room ready for me to roll up the carpet and paint the ceiling and walls this weekend in readiness for a new carpet arriving next week, this morning the sun is out to play again...although there are a few clouds. I have to go out a bit later this morning so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it will stay dry for me as it's way too muggy to even think about putting a jacket on...there's nothing worse than breaking out in a sweat while in the queue to pay in Poundland lol.
As well as the new carpet I've got a new lawn coming next week as well. I havbe to admit that I've cheated and have ordered some really lifelike artificial grass as I only need a piece 2m x 2m and it's working out cheaper than chippings, my first choice, or real grass as if I went down that road as well as ordering the turf I would also have to buy a new mower which would cost more than the new ready made lawn. Also it doesn't matter if I'm not ready to lay it when it arrives as it can just stay rolled up for a few days...what fun!!

Sending healing vibes to everyone who needs them, hugs to everyone and good thoughts to all our Wilsonettes unable to join us right now. {{{hugs}}}

Hi Sue, I wondered why this card did not grab me immediately as your cards mostly do but as I scrolled down I realised that it was the colours on my laptop. The first picture looks very creamy and rather busy but the other pictures show as almost white and it altered my mind immediately. Isn't it strange the way just a slight difference in shading can completely change your perception of something. Lovely card.

Good afternoon lovely Sue and her crafty crew!

What a wonderful Wedgewoodesque creation, just love the milk and duck egg blue together because it's so fresh and elegant. The design concept is superb, I am so glad that I have finally adopted the Stitched Lattice Frame, it's to die for and so, so versatile. I adore a framed card to and you do them so well, I really appreciate that touch of bling in the background it really makes the lattice work sing to me. The tri-Gemini dies are a fantastic concept and you show it's versatility beautifully, I don't have the Pictor but wonder if my Centaurus die would work equally well? I will definitely be borrowing this idea for future use , so many thanks for the excellent ideas:-)
Well, I've missed some gorgeous cards the past couple of days but I've been so busy that I only had an opportunity to pop by in passing:-( It's a much quieter day today, cloudy and overcast threatening rain again.....we haven't been blessed with the sunshine really which is a source of great despair for me, though I do appreciate that many are still struggling with the heat and would rather see the back of it, please send it my way:-)
Brodie has been hard at work recently "paying" for his keep by bringing little presents home....we returned from shopping yesterday to find a sadly deceased sparrow lying in the hallway, his forth in the past ten days.....he's getting too efficient at it and it breaks my heart, thankfully he normally brings them home alive and we can save them but it's so distressing and he thinks that he is such a clever boy:-( Nature can be so cruel at times....
Darcey is still causing havoc with my sleeping patterns, managed to get her in last night after her teasing for a good half hour beforehand but she's finding it hard to settle in the heat at night. So glad that you are getting a bit of shut eye now Elaine, hopefully your neighbour has listened to your justifiable complaint and took action. Hope Andrew and Darren have a fun night out at the cinema with his wife:-)
Tina, I'm sorry Mick is struggling again, I do hope that it doesn't lead to another stay in hospital especially since he had been doing so well. Maybe the weather will break and his appetite will return....
P, sorry to disappoint but I had a good reason for my absence, promise:-) I'm a little concerned about your blood lust and keenness to see Yvonne and I at loggerheads though, surely we should be promoting peace and harmony on the blog?:-)
Lorraine, enjoy your shopping trips, hope you find something fabulous!
Yvonne, have you just about recovered from your birthday exertions yesterday? I'm sure that I will hear all about it at great length later.....I'm having a quiet afternoon in preparation for the exertion of talking to you for any length of time, it requires strength, stamina and tolerance that I fortunately possess in abundance:-) Hope the boys had a conscience and put their petty squabbles behind them for your big dayxxx

Sorry I've missed so much, the week has flown by and I've missed you all, I had a few days of ups and downs so I've not been about. We had a lovely afternoon Saturday, I'm so chuffed with sewing machine. She looks darn good for 58 years old! There's only a little that she needs in the way of completing her set of feet and she needs the right tool box cover so I shall be scanning auctions etc she needs a very good clean and oiling but I won't run her til the motor had been checked and greased. We went to a lovely craft shop and I got a stamp, some card and some ink to do brothers save the date cards. We had a coffee and cake too. On Monday I had some lovely news that one of my friends made the Paralympic boccia team and I got in touch with an old friend on Facebook, we chatted loads and are staying in touch. Billy and I have both suffered in the heat. Mr went to interview but although they though he was great they were very honest that pay wasn't great as it was more a job for a semi retired person. He is looking again and is prepared to do most things, maybe even go back 'on site'. I got really overheated on Tuesday and ended up with cold wet towels and ice packs to cool me off. Have things sorted with social services so can go ahead and arrange a short daily visit and a longer visit once a week. Very, very thankful for this. Migraines were on off all week until yesterday night when it got so bad I couldn't bear any light and every time I sat up my eyes would clamp shut and I felt dizzy. Mr called 111 and they told me to get to the hospital. Now, a trip to see an emergency doctor is never pleasant but oh my, if they all looked like him I would never mind it! Very polite and very very good looking! He dimmed all the lights so he could examine my eyes without it being too uncomfortable and he told me and Mr which things to look out for that'd mean bringing me back. Feel a bit rotten today, thankful for zoom as eyes are blurry and dark glasses so I can read the screen :-) laying down is my preferred position as feel a bit ill. Billy being very protective of his mum since last night bless him. So glad it's cooler than it was as wouldn't fancy that heat with how I'm feeling at the minute! What a week ay?! Off for some toast to settle my tummy and some pain relief then a sleep to see if it'll all go away.

Plan is to be back soon able to read back your comments so in the meantime I'll send hugs and good wishes to everyone. Have a wonderful weekend and I'll see you all soon,

T x

Good evening Sue and the Wilsonettes,
This first picture did nothing for me but the other pictures showing a winter white colour just looks so lovely against the duck egg blue. I really love how your card is made and i have a start in that i have the Pictor Tri-Gemini dies so i can do that bit, i have ordinary rectangles that i make the frames with so that sorts out that bit and i have another brand of lattice that i could use for the middle. See make do and mend you can get there sort of just the same, lol. Thank you Sue for the inspiration that you give each day although some days i will admit to being a bit taxing try to come up with alternatives to your design dies to try and come with some that looks in the same area but in the same country would do me fine, i don't want to be greedy.
Wheely, sorry you have been through the mill again this week and i hope that once you have a little sleep the headaches will have done a vanishing act on you. Isn't it funny how our 4 legged babies always know when we are not well? I'm sorry that the job was no use for Mr W as it can be so downing when you try for job after job and nothing comes your way, i hope that someone can see that spark of want to in him and offer him something soon. sending hugs down to you , Mr.W and Billy of course.
Oh Elaine i have my fingers crossed that Andrew keeps up with the progress he is making at the moment, but i really wish his treatment would start because at least he would know that it wasn't advancing and was getting sent into retreat. It seems so long away before he gets seen again and gets started on it but i will still send hugs your and his way that he keeps on going forward even in little steps.
Hugs to all that need, want or could do with some,
love and crafty hugs
