Morning Sue, love todays card, right up my street.
Steph, miss you, hope you are improving, Julie, what a lovely present although tinged with sadness that they are moving so far away. Norah, dont kiss that frog, he might bite.
Daily hugs to Cameeli, Jean & Gary, Gail and her brother, Tina, Tres, Tandy and all who I have missed. Lindsay my daughters 2 horses escaped from their field with my 17 yr old grandson trying to catch them, boy was the air blue. Took 3 hrs to get them back.

Hi Sue, a really pretty, fresh card today. Sorry it has been so long since I last commented. I had my ankle reconstruction op in March and have been really poorly ever since. The medication did not agree with me. I can only liken it to very bad sea-sickness, coupled with migraines every day – and of course no mobility. I am hoping to be out of the cast tomorrow and off the meds too. It has been a real challenge, particularly to look after my daughters, especially my youngest who has special needs. My dad died whilst I was having my op which was a big blow too. So all in all I have not had the focus to craft or blog comment. Hopefully the worst is behind me now and I will get back to crafting soon. As a get well soon gift, my girls bought me your gorgeous finishing touches range of dies. I can’t wait to play with them properly. I did try to cut a set, to show the girls my appreciation more than anything, but my Grand Calibur cracked in half!!! I was gutted! It must have been on its way out! Sadly I will have to wait a while before I can afford a new one. In the meantime I will have lots of your cards and videos to catch up on and to help scratch my crafty itch!
Love Caz

Pam, sending my daily hug. Your poor grandson had his work cut out yesterday didn't he!
Sending hugs to everyone in need including Jean, Gail, Tina and Cameeli.
Julie Laz, what a wonderful present, sad that they are moving away but as you said, with Skype etc. it won't be so bad.
Norah, I am glad that your hills gave you pleasure yesterday as it sounds like you would love your frog to go and live in a pond at the moment! I hope Rory enjoyed getting soaking wet, sometimes when it's hot weather being out in heavy rain can be great fun : )
Cazzie, welcome back. You really have been through an awful time haven't you! Good luck for tomorrow : )
Have a good day everyone. Take care.

What a bright and cheerful way to start the day. Today's gift is just a piece of art. Wouldn't it be lovely to add to the package a sheet stamped with the lined daisies for a young one to colour. I've done this and the little ones just love to colour these and try and make their own card.
It's my fortnightly craft afternoon (knit and natter) at my local library with some of my crafty friends so it's a busy day ahead. This one will be the last for me before I go off for the summer.
Lynne hope everything stays in place today. I hate putting shopping away in the first place but to have things jump out of cupboards is beyond a joke - I think we need a litle 'house elf' for these kind of tasks. What do you say?
Take care everyone and see you tomorrow.

Morning Sue from a horrible dull and rainy day here. i did love today's video and your 'colouring method' is just up my street. So simple but beautiful as i'm not very good at using colouring pens. What a fantastic way to use your corner dies as a border around a frame. Must give that one a go. Lots of hints and tips this morning. I have tried cutting the 'bitty blossom' out of felt but couldn't manage to 'offset' the petals; but now I know how so thank you. Enjoy the rest of your day. Hugs Pauline A xx

Good morning Sue & lovely blog friends,
I love the bright punch that this card packs! Those lovely Daisy's would stand out on the mantelpiece, I think I may have watched this tutorial on you tube and milo edit, it was easier than it looked, I hope you are making the most of you last few says in Florida xx
Cameeli, I wish they would hurry up with your appointment, you must be so frustrated, as I am guessing that you are having to restrict your activities during this 'episode', I am sending you the biggest, squishiest cuddle your way xxxxx
Cazzie, I hope that your world has started to brighten and things start to sort themselves out , crafting is such great therapy, whilst you are sat engrossed in making a card, the trials that life sends us go to the back of your mind, it is a real life saver for me! Frustrating to hear about your GC, I have only just got mine back, it was like someone had cut my arms off, I was so glad when it finally arrived!
Julie I'm glad you had a nice birthday x
Norah, I didn't know we had poisonous frogs/toads here, I have seen on a nature programme the horrendous effect that poison toad had caused on a small mammal, so please watch any pets you may have!
I tell you, everyday is a school day with you lovely ladies, I must pick up snips of information every day from you sweeties! Thank you x
Steph, I hope you are soon out of you hospital 'cell' and back where we can virtually heal you! Thanks to lovely Margaret for passing messages to Steph x
We are off to vets today for second rounds of injections, worming pill etc! I bought a new kitty carrier, I have left it out for them to play/hide in so that they get used to it before they are zipped inside it later! Feels mean, but they didn't even flinch last time, bless them , hopefully that means they will have a quiet day tomorrow, no 5.15 wake up dance all over our bed, it was funny at first, but the novelty is wearing off, as i have to take my morphine before I get up and out of bed, but because it is so early I can't take it as it would mess up my medication for the rest of the day, I think we are going to have to try the 'ignoring' thing, although it will be hard, particularly with Milo who is super insistent, he forces his head under your hands, kneck, back, anywhere as long as he gets you up accompanied with the loudest purr you have ever heard!
Hugs to all my lovely friends, gentle ones to those that need them

Good morning Sue and fellow Wilsonettes,
I love the card Sue but my nature being as it is, i couldn't have the flowers not coloured in within the lines. That would be the only change i would make to doing this beautiful card. It looks so good with the borders making up a frame around the feature point. Another WOW inspirational card and video, thank you Sue.
Vanessa, good luck on Sunday with your beautiful twin granddaughters christening. Twins bring an even bigger AWHHH than normal as the congregation get to enjoy 2 for 1.
Tandy flower, you are allowed to shed tears as is your son for his loss. I hope that you can face the rest of the holiday a wee bit brighter for the wee ones more than anything else. If you give the wee ones a cuddle , what they give back is the hug i can't.
Barbara, hee hee hee, my screwball eyes and brain thought it read you had bought your husband. I didn't realise you could go and pick one?
Julie, technology is a wonderful thing and because of skype, you will not miss your wee cherub growing up. It has made the world a lot smaller and more accessible.
Right crew, the escape committee is just waiting on intelligence (Margaret) reporting back so that we can put our escape plans to hatch the mass crafter known as Lancashire Steph out from the high security prison(hospital) that they are keeping her in. They are keeping her under their evil influence(drugs) until she cracks(gets better). We shall report back when our intelligence pro returns.
Pam, just think of the extra exercise that he got as well as the horses. Would do him the world of good (says me tongue in cheek).
Cazzi, so sorry for your loss flower on top of all the rest you were going through. I hope that this never rains but it pours has finished its work with you as you deserve a rest. The Wilsonettes are here for every member of the family and i hope that we can be here for you.HUGS.
Gail, we are all sending up wee messages in the hope that they will be answered. HUGS.
I have got my wee lads prize giving today but got to go and pick up the lad who has left the school, his mum, gran, and mums' partner first, so will let you know the outcome. This is who he got soaked with the other day there, when he came back with the ear to ear grin. And yes my toad can go and live in whatever pond he likes, see if they well put up with his nonsense.
Pat was just thinking that your relatives will need a holiday just to recover from their holiday.
Jackie D, have a great holiday away and time at your mums.
Well, at the moment it is dry, i wonder how long it will stay for today as it just seems to wait until after i write what a lovely day it is and then it downpours for the rest of the day. Hope the sun is shining where you are, and if not shining from within. Gentle hugs to all our fragile friends in whatever pain you are in,
Love and crafty hugs

Morning Sue, lovely card, had just got my crafty bits out and thought I would come on for some inspiration and you have given it me in bucketfuls.
Can I'm so sorry for all the trouble and heartache you have been through these last few months, I really hope things will now come your way as you deserve them to.
Gail, your poor brother, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he is improved enough very soo to have his chemo start.
Your poor grandson Pam, it's such a worry when they get out, and I'm not surprised the air was blue, so pleased he has got them back in again. I did the bandage change on my little boy last night and the wound is looking amazing, I am hoping his recovery will not be as long as the vet first thought, he is being so brave and just stands to let me clean it off and redress it, I know if it was me the air would certainly be blue as it would be terribly painful.
Norah, I will go down the pond and try and find you a replacement frog, although I could do with one in the first place! But then I don't have to answer to anyone which can sometimes be an advantage!
Alison, the foals are doing well but I think they could do without so much rain on them, although it is keeping the grass growing so I should be thankful!
Lynne, hope the girls provide you with enough time for your rest today but also with some antics for us to enjoy!
Julie, am so pleased you had such a fantastic birthday, the photos will be such a comfort to,you when your daughter and her family move, but thankfully Skype is handy so you can see them real time and get to catch up easily.
Tandy, Tres, Steph, Margaret, Karen, Cameeli, Mrs B and all the other wonderful Wilsonettes have a lovely day and I will see you all back here tomorrow. X

Good morning Sue,
And all the ladies who are reading this!
Well, it's lovely to see you stamping and colouring the images like you used to, and the use of the corners is brill. I'd have just put them on top of the daisies, which would not have had the same impact.
A good friend is undergoing breast surgery as I type this, and although I've made her a get well soon card, I'm going to do my version of this as well. Hospitals up here do not allow fresh flowers and I feel that this will be the next best thing!
Love to all the bloggers and I hope that those in pain and heartache will soon get some relief.

I DID HAVE A PHONE CALL FROM TINA YESTERDAY WHICH WAS SO LOVELY AND I TOLD HER PEOPLE WERE LEAVING MESSAGES FOR HER AND THINKING OF HER. SHE JUST CANNOT BELIEVE HOW WONDERFULLY THOUGHTFUL EVERYONE HAS BEEN.
This only endorses the fact that this is such a very special blog with very kind and thoughtful people who visit, Sue should be so proud, as I am quite sure she is although miles away from us all at the moment, she is still close.
Thank you so very much Sue.

Good morning Sue,
Good morning all crafting friends!,
What a great video Sue! I looked at the card first of all and wondered how you had got the scalloped edge! The video made that very clear - it is so pretty. I will definitely give this one a try although do not have the oops a daisy stamp - yet! It could have been peek a boo daisy ! Just lovely. Thanks so much.
Cazzie - lovely to have you back! What a torrid time you have had. So sorry to hear about your Dad too. Trust things get better very soon. How lovely of your children to buy such a thoughtful gift!
Sandra - you and many others on this blog make me feel so humble when I read about your daily struggles with pain and medication yet you still make us smile! Thanks for that ! Hope visit to vet goes well. Milo - you need to sleep for longer! x
Norah - hope today goes well at Rory's school and that neither of you gets another soaking! x Please may I be the getaway driver? x
Margaret- thanks for keeping in touch with Steph - love to both of you.
Anne - shortbread sounds great - my husband's favourite! I haven't made any since Christmas!
Picture this ladies - large A4 size deep plastic box - divided into sections inside - full of buttons - all sizes and colours and shapes. Little boy picked it up by the lid yesterday - yes buttons everywhere - says he "oh no Miss there are millions of 'em !" . Well not quite but probably hundreds ! Now they are all mixed up.
Keep smiling everyone - if you can. It's not always easy.
Gail sending love to you and your family.
Have the best day you can everyone,
Love Myra

Hi Sue, a very summery card today - shame the weather doesn't match! I love the way the corner dies make a frame, at first sight I thought you had used a scalloped card but I really should have known better, shouldn't I. The stamping technique is great. I love my alcohol pens for colouring normally but I really want some more distress markers (I only have half-a-dozen) as it would be so much easier for this type of stamping than using my distress pads and a water/paintbrush.
Happy Birthday to Lacelady, hope you are having a lovely day.
Frances

Hi Sue, love the cheerfulness of todays card. The colours are great and the corner die set might just have to wing its way to me , I'm sure I can give it a good home. Will watch the video later with a cup of tea. Lol lynne m x x x

Well 40 winks didn't even last till 20 yesterday before fur babies decided it was time to play . Out in the garden they go looking like butter wouldn't melt in their mouths. Getting wise to them now, stood out of sight and watched them. Sure as eggs is eggs they homed in on the new plants and Tilly ( always the instigator of mischief) looked around then bent her head down ready for a good chew. Out of sight still I called out for her to leave the plants alone. She jumped back like a scalded cat and swung her head around to see where I was. Cully ( always knows where I am radar I think or a guilty concience) I'm sure told Tilly I was looking out of the lounge window . Tilly gave a brief glance at the window then ran in up to me with her" I'm innocent " look. I have decided that as Tilly likes watching tv I'm going to put on some gardening programmes so she can see what a garden should look like. Hubby stared at me in sheer disbelief when I told him my idea. I think he's jealous he didn't think of it!!!.

To every one of my friends here have a good rest of the day and if you are poorly or in need I send massive hugs and lol cuz I have lots to give from Tilly & Cully x x x

Oh Sue, always marvel at your sue-perb prepping! Think it would take me a good couple of hours on this one. Love the use of the corners and am inspired to do something similar - only with the majestic blooms background in silver and grey - another road you have led me down!! I don't use a mister on the stamp, but do Tim H's 'huff' instead - v.good at that!. The huffing technique is now perfected.
Thanks for another great video.
