White Wedding

Hi bloggers!  Such a simple and elegant card today for you.  Perfect for a wedding or anniversary or any special occasion really.  I have added a second card for you today since this was part of the sneak peeks for the blog release in Feb.  Don't forget to click the subscriber button on Youtube so you can be notified when any new videos are uploaded!

Buy from Joanna Sheen

Finished dimensions are 7" x 8" in size.  Now on to the second card today as promised!

A coffee card from the shows back in February.  I started by creating a background using my score board.  I made a wide border by scoring around the square of coconut white card.   I cut a small square of periwinkle card  and stamped the "steam" swirl in the middle then used the Tied Together folder on it.  I added pearls to each of the embossed junctions and inked the edges with some picket Fence distress stain.    I stamped the coffee cup from Justrite on periwinkle card and embossed it with white powder.  I cut it out by hand and mounted it up on foam for dimension.  I coloured it with Stormy Sky and Broken China distress inks.  Using the Vintage Floret die, I made a small flower out of vellum and added it over the flower that is actually part of the image on the cup.  I stamped a friendly sentiment then added it to the coffee cup handle with some Bakers Twine.  I used my piercing ruler to add my usual pierced edge to my coconut white mat, then layered a thin mat of periwinkle with a final white mat to complete the card.  Finished dimensions are 8" x 8" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Hi Sue, and blog friends.

Every day I come on and look a your cards, I say the same old things just because I can't think of anything else to say other than Stunning, beautiful, absolutely gorgeous, sophisticated and elegant. "Just because they are".

Pam hugs to you, Yorkielass, Margaret, and Steph I will email soon about dad, it's been manic here.

Steph, Please don't get upset about the reminder for Jill's birthday. I sent a birthday wish last year for the first time, and must admit I did'nt make a note of the date. My head is a bit all over the place at the moment, so could I book you in for a reminder on Saturday.

Kind regards :-)

Helloooo Sue and all the Wilsonettes! Oooo the first card is very elegant and classy. The video is wonderful Sue, thank you for the easy step by step instructions on how to make this card. The videos are valuable, not only for me but everyone who needs visual step by step. They are so much appreciated Sue, thank you. The second is a fun, girly girly lets meet up for a natter. Lovely and so pretty. I love all the score lines in the background. They're a great feature. Hope you are enjoying your rest with your mom. What a wonderful idea Wilsonettes for all of us to put "Happy Birthday" wishes on here for Sues' mom. It's going to be a lovely surprise for her. She'll love it! Lynne as always you've had me helpless with the antics of your fur babies. I had one that did the run around in the house and I just shouted "You... mad dog!", got on all fours (when I could!) and just bounced from side to side as he did the opposite way.....Probably would have had a straight jacket put on if anybody had seen us...! Lol! It's a bit different with two budgies but they do the flying away from mum like your fur babies run from you in the garden Lol! Yorkielass, so good to see you and thank you for your hugs x Norah, lovely to see you in fine fettle! I reckon if you wrote a book we would all buy it! You are truly wonderful and thank you for making me laugh too! Love the "blue movie!" x My mum is Scottish. she came down this way when she married my dad (within six months of meeting!) from the RAF. One of her sisters lived in Leven but now lives in Methil where they were all born. I call her my little Barbara Windsor cuz she is so tiny, big busted and has a lovely laugh! The other sister lives in Glenrothes. As my mum and dad are in their 80's they don't go up very often. I do have a brother who lives in Symington and hope to pop up and see him soon. I love Scotland, beautiful scenery, the bagpipes and the dialect. What more could you ask for?! So pleased that you have been asked to do the "bits and bobs" for the wedding! xx Paperjunkie loved how you did the dance in the polytunnel! You made me laugh. Happy birthday Teresa! Debra, I hope you found a fellow crafter to talk to today x Jean P, hope you had a good day at Age UK, Steph, please don't think you are getting carried away. I for one love all the feed back whatever and from whoever it is. Wow, look at all the information that has been given so we can all have a look at whatever website. That's a true family and I for one appreciate it, all of it! We look after each other and are there for each other and it's wonderful!! I'm so proud to be a part of this family. I've never been on a "blog" before until I saw Sue on C&C....the rest is history! the only thing I can't get a grip of is, when you have watched the video on Youtube (I've subscribed) how do I make a comment? Sending hugs to, Pam, Judy M, June, Steph, Norah, Tres and Tina and anyone else who is going through sad times, bad times, glad times and exciting times! Talking of which, Lyndsey, has foal number two arrived yet?!! Good luck everyone in the Wednesday card giveaway! xx Love Karen xx
