Easter Basket

Hi bloggers!  Today's video is really a "how to assemble" video that is perfect for anyone that has purchased the Easter Basket or may be interested in it for a later purchase.  It is really very easy to assemble and the video walks you through it.  Unfortunately, there are no real "extra" pictures of the basket, just the one above with the video, but it shows it in all it's 3D glory!  This die set, by the way, makes a fab flat card and there are a few more videos coming up that show it off that way.

The winner of this week's Wednesday Card Giveaway is:

Heather R Oxfordshire!!!

Congratulations!  Please email me at americansue1@gmail.com to confirm your address and claim your card!  All for now, Sue x

A beautiful card, I love it. It's so cute. You must have been delighted with all your congratulations nyesterday as we were delighted to give them. You have always been the best in our eyes now the world knows it.
Congratulations , Heather, enjoy your lovely card.
Tracey, hope you got home safely, I'm glad you had such a wonderful trip, hope the cold has now gone.
June, did the tic tacs work. Glad you enjoyed making the card up.
Saba, of course you don't need my permission, feel free.
Elaine, you are right, Helen is a very special lady. Hope Andrew is well. You too have been such a rock for him, it all helps.
Has anyone heard how Norah is, it has been a while, missing her.
Laine, you certainly are our glamour queen, bet you felt a million dollars afterwards.
Carmen, how is the Kid doing, well I hope. On Create and Craft last night, a lady from Toronto sent a photo, clear blue skies, white snow and dark green fir trees that she took on her early morning ski run, looked stunning.
Hugs all round, especially our poorly and missing friends, have a good weekend.N

Hi Sue. I'm so thrilled to see this is the video of the day as I've just been lucky enough to receive it as a 'thank you' gift from my keeper, I won't go into details but you really couldn't have found a better day to showcase this die, all I need is the time and to stay awake long enough to watch and digest as I'm still in my role as nurse and I'm wilting quicker than an iceberg lettuce ! Many congrats to Heather, what a wonderful surprise for you to end the week - enjoy ☺
Hope you've found the time to celebrate your much deserved award Sue, if not, hope it's on the agenda soon !! I'm still thrilled to bits for you. All we need to do now is work extra hard to get more people back into the blog, and to introduce new people to your blog to get you back to your top position in the ratings where you belong.
Ok, my shift is about to start again so I'll send my love wrapped up in my usual daily hug xxx

Hi Sue,

Beautiful basket. I love it. Great video. Easter is around the corner and I plan to make some cards for my family back home.Thank you for the inspiration.

Congratulations to Heather!

I am early with this post (2am here) but very late with yesterday comment.

Pam- the Kid is doing fine. He plans to visit us this week. He misses us and we miss him very much. I have no idea what part of Toronto she took the picture since all I see is grey sky, white snow, no green at all even I have a park cross the street. It was very windy and cold (-17) yesterday. We could see the sun for a little while around 5pm.Today is not going to be better.

Have a great weekend!

Dear Sue and fellow Best Blogettes,
That basket really is darling!
Somebody could set up an Etsy shop just making them.
Has anybody ever had a die wear out?
I'm thrilled to find a Wilsonette in my own tiny state! Humberta Goncalves-Babbitt, I'm a Providence Journal reporter and I wrote the story on Saturday's front page about the Rumford couple who climbed all 46 of the Adirondacks High Peaks in winter! My phone number and email address are at the bottom of each of my stories, so email me your phone number and we can talk. I'm up at 1 a.m. as well, just getting home from work. We could be a gang of two!
You said it best, deniseann, when you credited Sue for taking us from hamemade cards to "professionally made at home" cards. I also agree with whoever said (was that you, too?) that Sue also brought papercrafting to a higher level. Nobody else designs dies with such graceful and perfectly proportioned intricacies.
Saba, what in the world do you do with so much rope? Or were you making a word play? Does ropey mean something in the U.K.? I'm also surprised to hear several Wilsonettes use chuffed to indicate a positive feeling. I would have guessed it meant something like miffed.
May everyone's Saturday be sunny. And congratulations Heather!
Love,
Donita

Donita I hope you manage a meet up with a fellow wilsonet. The English language is lovely, chuffed means happy/proud, you are usually chuffed to bits which probably means you are so happy your face almost splits in two with the grin! Xxx

Good evening Sue,
I wasn't sure about this die but having seen today's video you have won me over. I need it it! I was mesmerised watching you assemble it. It's just so well thought out, right down to the little fastener on the handles. It must have taken you an age to design this die and I'm looking forward to seeing your other samples.

A little explanation about my penchant for ropes before others no names mentioned (Laine) let's their imagination run riot. It's a white and black rope, not a hint of grey anywhere. I will not be taking it to our meet up although it could be useful to keep some of our gang in line. I'm sure Yvonne will already have sussed it out as her dad is also a sailor, It's a fore line for mooring up our boat and I shall be stroking it lots before we eventually get to use it! Bit like ribbon really only thicker!!!
Love and hugs for all

Love this little basket Just bought the die, so your video came just at the right time.

This basket is so versatile, it can be used for eggs, little baskets of Jelly Beans like you used Sue. I think it could be used as a gift box for any little gift Even wedding favours, full of sugared almonds.

I thought too Sue, they could be used for a little girl's tea party, full of sweets nuts etc. One could line the inner with foil or cling film so the foods in it, would not stain and the basket could be kept for another day.
