Thanks A Latte x 2

Good Sunday morning all!  I have a double bill of Thanks A Latte cards for you today.  They are both very simple so I thought I would give you two today.  For the first one, I picked some decorative paper from my stash that was a blue gingham pattern.  I cut two of the Pacific Ocean Borders out of coconut white card.  I added them to the edge of a wide strip of white card as accents and attached it down the centre of my background.  I cut three of the Pacific Ocean tags (two of one style and one of the other style) and added mounting foam and attached down the centre of the strip.  I cut the teapots and cups out of blue dusk card and added them to the top and bottom tag with mounting foam.  I cut the thanks a latte die and sprayed it with glue and glittered it with Periwinkle Polished Silk Glitter and glued it in the centre of the middle tag.  The card was completed with a simple white on white mat and layer.  The finished dimensions are 7" x  7 1/2" in size.  Scroll down for card number two.

Card number two uses the same Thanks A Latte die set but with a brown and white theme.  I selected two coordinating decorative papers from my stash.  Brown and white stripes for the background and brown and white dots for the centre.  I cut the In The Garden Shadow Box out of dark brown card.  I cut away one side of it and added mounting foam to the back and seated it over the polka dot patterned paper.  I added the donuts and muffins to the top squares, adding Cosmic lacquer to the donut to look like frosting.  I used the mugs and coffee pot in the centre rectangle and lacquered them as well.  Next, I added the Thanks a Latte glittered with bronze polished silk glitter atop a small hexagon to the bottom square.  I completed the card with white and brown mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6"  x  6 3/4" in size.

The winners of this week's Comment Game are:

Donna Golby!!!
Liz Spooner!!!
Helen Terry!!!

Congratulations all!  Please email me at americansue1@gmail.com to confirm your address and claim your prize.  All for now, Sue x

Two beautiful cards today Sue. For some reason the bottom one looks black and white on my iPad but I know I'll see it in it's true colours later when I look on the desktop. I managed to get some tiny crispy coated chocolate Easter eggs yesterday and am planning to make up the gumball machine for my two older grandchildren. I think they'll love the novelty of it. Also just received some Atlantic Ocean dies and the baked with love and Apron so am going to be very busy.
Congratulations to the comment winners. Enjoy.
The misunderstood comments really made me chuckle as we had a misunderstanding with our Canadian friends recently. When we met up we took them some English magazines and neither of them could make any sense of one sentence. Too rude (in Canadian) to go into detail here but we decided that the quote two countries divided by a common language was very apt and had a good laugh.
Crafty hugs to all in need. Hope you're all keeping safe and warm.

Sunday Smiles to you Sue. My patient is still resting so I thought now was the time to pop in before my shift starts, what a good idea and I'm glad I did or the day will run away with me and before I realise it, it'll be Monday !
I can't and won't pick a favourite as both are so lovely in their own way. I received this cute set for Christmas and they are so much to play with, due to the subject and versatility they work for both tea and coffee addicts, men and women, mug or China cup lovers, this set like all your other Shadow Box accessories are absolutely brilliant and mix and match so well, who doesn't know a gardener or sports crazy person who doesn't take a break for a 'brew' or hot strong coffee ? That's why we need to add this collection to go with the rest of them. I'm not being cruel now, but whenever I see this set I can't help but break out in a smile and cold sweat when it takes me back to John's 'oopsie' I think everyone that knows/works with/blog followers etc took the biggest gasp we've ever taken that day, bless him lol 😳 but what a pro he was.
Anyway, I will send a big Sunday hug your way Sue, and congratulate our 3 winners of the comment game, enjoy your gift ladies. Hope you have a nice day a Sue and I look forward to next week's inspiration xxx

Good evening lovely Sue and her crafty crew!

What a pleasant surprise to see two beautiful cards on this mornings blog, it really lifted my Sunday blues and gave me a pleasing kick start to the day. Totally impossible to choose a favourite though because the dies used on both are so darn cute and charming. I love your use of the border and tags for card one, and the sentiment coated in that lovely blue silk glitter is awesome. The papers on card two really suit the subject matter and i just love the glossed crockery and icing, its really authentic. Thanks for today's treat Sue, it has really made me aspire to buying these dies as soon as possiblexxx
Ive had a rather quiet day today, i have no excuses for my inactivity other than to say that i am simply bone idle....i did feel flickers of guilt though, in my defence, i have the spectre of a 90th birthday card looming large on the horizon, not to mention Mothers Day and i really should be making an effort to get my act together and craft again. Unfortunately, someone has stolen my MoJo again and i can't perform without it so if you happen to come across it then i would appreciate it if you posted it back to me:-)
Yvonne, now it's a migraine??!!? You are beginning to scrape the barrel with excuses not to speak with me......are you feeling threatened by my new found friendship with the lovely Carmen? After all. Toronto is a much classier alternative to Croydon:-) Hope you 'feel better' soon honey, I've missed my sparring partnerxxx
Saba you minx! You're mind may be in the gutter but mine most certainly isn't as you have tried to insinuate.....i had no visions of bondage games and well used copies of Fifty Shades of Grey involved with the rope despite your questionable reputation, i merely, and quite innocently assumed that it had something to do with your other hobby, sailing. Well, how naive was i? Fondling and stroking it is bordering on an unhealthy fetish, had it have been paper i would have totally understood, but your passion for rope raises a lot of alarming issues and questions as to your moral compass:-) I'm left wondering about what REALLY goes on during these meetings of the Naughty Nine.........?
Tracy, happy birthday honey! What a long way you have come in the past year, its amazing....breakfast in bed is the least you deserve:-) Hope you've had a lovely dayxxx
P, hope little Harry is still thriving, i wish we could see a picture of him because i just love my ginger pussiesxxx
Frances, so you think Yvonne is making excuses too? Why on earth would she avoid conversing with someone so enthralling, witty and interesting? It makes no sense at all.....:-) Sending love to Pippin and the Princesses......is that one of your babies in your profile pic?
Carmen, how are you getting on with your cardmaking, bought any new dies and goodies? I think Toronto sounds beautiful, i would love all that snow....my Dad once visited and got Neuralgia in his mouth because of the -20 C temperature though...i laughed because he was known for opening his gob too much....he didn't!
Myra, sending my love to you and Maureen, miss herxxx
Tina T&NannaTina, sending hugsxxx
Wheely, hope you are wellxxx
Hugs to all my other besties, hope you've had a restful Sundayxxx

Good evening Sue
Two beautiful cards for us today you really do spoil us thank you so much.
Congratulations to the lucky winners this week do have lots of enjoyment with your prises ladies.
Now Laine try as you will to find out what Really goes on when we the Naughty Nine meet up, I'm sorry, that is for us to know and for you to wonder my dear! You must realise we may give you the odd hint but our lips are sealed. One thing I can divulge Saba is a lady who sometimes sails upon the high seas, BUT, she goes no where near any gutters.
Pam yet again a wonderful resume of the daily happenings here on this blog, thank you, may I echo your comments too.
Sending Happy Birthday wishes to Tracy hoping you have a super day.

Good evening Sue,
What a treat, a two for one day. I just love both these cards. The Pacific Ocean border is just gorgeous, foolishly I didn't buy it on my recent U.K. Visit. I did however buy the Pacific Ocean Tags but wouldn't have thought to use them together, I will now. Your small accessory dies have such amazing detail, the donuts look edible! Thank you for all you do to inspire us daily.
Congratulations to the lucky ladies.
Tracy I hope you have had a fabulous birthday, you too are an inspiration.
Margaret I hope you have a better night.
Elaine who are you trying to kid! I haven't read it either, well, I might have had a peek!
Myra speechless! That'll be a first.
Laine, what's all this about my questionable reputation? I'll have you know I'm a very upstanding citizen. Just because I have a rope fetish doesn't make me odd. Why just today in church the minister said we shouldn't give in to temptation - so I'm putting off ordering the Pacific Ocean Border until next week. Hope your mojo comes out of hiding soon.
Love and hugs for all

My earlier message must have gone into cyber space as cannot see it anywhere. Love today's cards. Most of my family drink tea so would probably use the teapots and cups for them but friends drink coffee so will use the coffee pot and mug for them. Love the use of the shadow box die cut down. Good idea. Thank you. Hope this comment apoears this time.
