Festive Collection Day Five 6pm

Hello bloggers!  Welcome back to the blog for the final post of the 2016 Festive Collection blog launch!  As they say, all good things must come to an end (sadly), but I hope that you have found some designs that are truly inspiring for you!  This post features the Christmas Shadow Box die and the Rustic Twig Wreath set.  I have used both of these together in the sample shown to create a stunning shadow box styled card.  The boxes in this design have been changed slightly to accommodate a few larger items, but it can easily be used for non Christmas cards as well!  The individual pieces can also be used without the Shadow Box foundation too, so there is a lot of versatility here.  The Rustic Twig wreath can be used decorated or plain and it is a perfect die for adding a lovely detail touch to your cards.  For the last time, I encourage you to leave a comment to be included in the drawing to win either of these sets.  You still have time to go back and add comments to any of the posts you may have missed along the way too. I will announce the winners on Monday July 4th in an afternoon post.  Don't forget to check back to see if your name is among the winners.  I hope you have enjoyed the launch as much as I have!  All for now, Sue x

Very well done Sue, you have excelled yourself once again. Looking forward to watching your shows on tv soon.

What a magnificent finale, thank you.
Although you sit in the warmth of the Floridian sun whilst helping to inspire us ready for the 'festive onslaught' you do the most wonderful thing for us. You take April etc and turn it into December, and although you are the designer it can't be that easy to bring the C spirit to your heart and inspire us especially when you can't get hold of gift cards or candy canes lol so maybe that's an idea for next year lol *maybe I should duck before a very Sharp pockey tool comes my way* lol
Again, thank you Sue for advanced festive inspiration. I will get round to pinning once we get home but I've really enjoyed this new launch and this cute little shadow box will be so lovely to use on my children's market cards.
To all the 'silent followers' of Sue's blog PLEASE continue to add your comments after this event it's SO lovely to see that this amazing blog reaches so many corners of the world, so don't desert us now or Sue, leaving a comment is a way of showing our appreciation to this hard working and over generous 'friend' we have come to admire over the week's, months and for some, year's and what better way to say "THANK YOU" If you are one of the lucky ones to be chosen.
Have a lovely evening Sue hugs from Padstow xx

Unfortunately most of my cards are small ones & I think the shadow box may be too big - shame!
I think the poinsettia dies & the Christmas rose dies are probably my favourite along with the various holly dies, but I may change my mind, ooh yes I forgot the Angel die! I just thought of the star spray & the star background, it's no good I just can't decide! Looking forward to more samples in the months to come!
Thank you so much Sue, I think each die release is your best yet & then you pull even more lovely dies out of the bag! I love the way your dies work together & can be interchangeable & I love all the inspiration you give us. You are a very talented lady!

Evening Sue
My oh my oh my. What a finale. Got to say, this card has got to be my favourite. Oh I know all the cards have been completely and utterly brilliant but I have become a huge fan of the shadow box concept from the moment I saw the first one earlier this year x
I have been the proud owner of the birthday shadow box for a while now and it has been an absolute Godsend.
I have had quite a few male (those pesky males) cards to do. Many of George's friends will be turning or have recently turned 18 this year. The shadow box has enabled me to make the most amazing cards for all those awkward recipients who cause us so many problems. His friends have been well pleased (in their words) with their cards
If anyone is wondering if they would get much use out of any of the shadow box dies I can assure you it will be a fantastically useful addition to your collection.
It was my dad's 80th birthday a wee while ago and his card was so simple but with his age and the word dad and then using the embellishments of balloons and cake the result was wonderful. Long live the shadow box x
Put it this way, my dad has never been terribly over enthusiastic about much and he phoned me specifically to tell me how delighted he was with his card.
That, Sue, is high praise indeed x
A suggestion - although you are probably way ahead of me Sue - some sets of small embellishments to use with the frames. Girly bits - shoes and handbags maybe. Blokey bits - would say cars, boats and sporty stuff but you probably have much better suggestioins. Not to mention baby bits - cutesy teddies, baby bottles and the like. Bet you have already thought about all of those. After all you are the oracle x
I was feeling quite deflated that the launch had come to an end, especially as my participation had not been up to it's usual standard. I always thought that going back to comment on the cards so long after they had been posted was not allowed. Obviously I was wrong. You have given me permission to cheat Sue. Lol x
I am going to try and comment on a few more of the cards as I was unable to do so when they were 'fresh' on the blog.
I know it has been a gripping 5 days for everyone and as I said in an earlier post, your generosity is such a blessing and we love you x
Signing off now. Got to sort myself out to cheat my way to winning a die.
Have a lovely evening everyone. Lots of love and hugs to you all with extra hugs for those going through challenging times x
Crafty hugs

Hello Sue,
These shadow boxes remind me of the frames that went around a few years ago that had some lovely bits and pieces in it to match the individual that received them. There was bathroom ones, sewing ones, woodwork ones, well you get the idea so leading on from Yvonnes post, men like spanners, drills, hammers, monkey wrenches, saws, fishing rods and reels, flies, tackle boxes, all sorts of balls for games including football, tennis, cricket, rugby and who could ever forget golf. So anything with these in it would be very welcome as well for the shadow box cards as ladies bits and pieces are easy to come up with but our pesky other halves are a nightmare. Anyway back to tonights card which could have some snow in it to make a different kind of winter card. I'm thinking on weddings as well which would make a lovely card for our different kinds of weddings that we do or churchy ceremonies by large. Thank you Sue for getting out ideas awakened by new ideas and inspirations and thank you also for the kindness that you show all year round not just at launch times. The kindness that you show every day of the week is so welcomed by people on here just like me that doesn't have the advantage of card classes or many craft shops to get that inspiration and mojo back up and running just when we need it most.
I hope that you have had a fantastic time flower seeing your dreams become reality and making some other people so happy as well.
Love and crafty hugs
Norah (Glenochil)

Anyway, back to the festivities so to speak, I love the little stockings and again a good set for contemporary cards and cards for younger people, would be great for batches and quick cards. The wreath is so sweet, my mind always goes to stamping as that's my thing and the wreath would be amazing to surround a stamped sentiment.

Your dies... wow, every release something new, something different. They have gone down really well and gain new fans all the time, congratulations and I keep reading you'll be on Hochanda again soon. Can't wait. Also want say thank you to you and the team at Creative Expressions for offering the dies as a giveaway, some lucky people will get an early Christmas pressure! Hugs xxx

Congratulations Nanna Tina and family on the birth of your new grandson. Hope mum recovers quickly from the birth, big hugs x

Hope you're all writing your wish lists... for the dies, bit early for Santa! Hugs to everyone, I got extra for those who need them so help yourselves. See you all soon,

Good evening lovely Sue and her crafty crew!

Yet another Wowzers moment, the shadow box concept is just made for Christmas with this fabulous card proving my point completely. There is everything you could wish for involved in this die, baubles, stockings, tinsel, mittens etc and to be able to mix and match them as you like is fantastic. Whilst I haven't yet purchased a shadow box from past releases I most definitely plan to and therefore fully endorse Yvonne's idea about the blokes and girly accompaniments, they would make the boxes even more versatile if possible. This is certainly one of my most favourite dies of the release and the card showcasing it knocks your socks off.
My biggest wish from this release is that you manage to find the time to read the comments left by fans new and old just so that you can see for yourself how appreciated you are for all your hard work and tireless generosity. What I find really impressive and endearing is the fact that you remain totally unaffected by all the adulation and still show some nerves and uncertainty at launches and tv appearances.....most people would have a head the size of a small country if they possessed even a tenth of your talent:-).....but you take it all in your stride with an air of humble grace. I hope that you are looking forward to your Hochanda shows as much as we are and are fully prepared for your extended slots.....how lucky are we?:-)
Well, back to normality tomorrow, it will be strange adjusting but we have Thursday to look forward to now:-)
Cuddles to all my blog buddies, hope you are all wellxxxx

Hi Sue what a fabulous end to your Festive Die release. So. Difficult to choose a favourite, but I think the Holly Framed Noel, the Poinsettia Mini Background, the Christmas Rose and the Holly Poinsettia Gemini dies are fighting for that position. Then I look at the dies again and think but what about the Poinsetta Filigree Frame or the Sentiment Dies there are so many to choose from . i
just want to say that I think these dies are fabulous and I can't wait until pay day so I can start to order some
Looking forward to seeing the cards you will be inspiring us with
