Lovely card Sue, love everything about it.
Congratulations to Lorraine, well done girl.
Melody, thank you for update, I'm glad Francis is settled now, hope he is starting to feel a little stronger. Poor Molly, no internet, my grandchildren would be distraught if they lost their internet. Tell her we miss her.
Big hugs to everyone, Tracey, hope you are feeling better too.

Hi Sue
I have to say that I have always liked the ivy dies. I've used them on many cards and not always as ivy.
I think I will have to try this technique as I have a lot of inks just sitting in a drawer!
I love this card - although I personally have a phobia about green (yes Sue you did laugh at me when told you) so I think I'll try it in another colour
This is not a negative comment at all - just my rather weird brain at work!!! (lol)

Cheryl, the government no longer supports youngsters who have babies in quite the same way that they used to so it's not really a career choice. I don't think thinking comes into it that much. The baby will not be short on love that's for sure :)
Thank you Laine, we will all love the new arrival no question there. I am more upset for my daughter for whom a lot of the responsibility will fall to and will be a Grandmother at 36! I will be a Great Grandmother at 57, so unfair lol. It's a boy btw. I too love your posts they always make me smile. Congratulations on your win, that made me happy too.
I am feeling quite a bit better now and my voice has returned. Chest wasn't helped by getting hiccups last night and this morning. Sorted through my Christmas cards yesterday and I have enough for everyone except my best friend who is a crafter too so I need something different for her and my immediate family so that was good. I hate writing cards though, no idea why. Made good progress on a gift for my brother so all that helped my self esteem. As soon as I get myself in gear will get on with it again.

OMG...you are so clever...loved your tip in the video to emboss first, remove that die and then do the cutting pass through the machine. Duh...why didn't I think of that?

Because I never want any two of my cards to be exactly alike, alcohol inks are perfect for making each card panel an original...I need to pull out mine and play with them.

Your card is beautiful...I have one of the ivy sets you used and I use it all the time. I've started collecting your word sentiment die sets, too. They cut so beautifully...love the font styles you use.

Great post!!! Always inspired by your talent. Congrats to the winner, too. Jan D., Florida, USA

Good evening lovely Sue and her crafty crew!

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaah!Whoopeeeeeeee!OMGGGGGGGGGG!
Well girls, I did it and I'm just a tad overcome with excitement, excuse me....Yipeeeeeeeeeeee!Whoaaaaaaaaa!Wowzersssss!.....ah, that's better, think I've got it out of my system now! I think that I might just be the happiest Wilsonette, nay person, on the planet right now, not even the torrential downpours all day today cn diminish by unbridled glee.
I bet you're wondering how I met the news that I am the lucky recipient of Sues masterpiece, well apart from my shrieks of delight terrifying Brodie, Darcey and my Mum, the fact that I had to be extracted from the ceiling and resuscitated. I was quite calm:-)
I didn't even have to resort to underhand tactics, deceit, disception and blackmail, so methinks that Yvonne isn't in fact Sues favourite....it's me!
Despite my overexcited demeanour I did still take the time to sit still and concentrate on Sues demo for today. It brought back memories of days of yore when I used to make an almighty mess at the craft class playing with inks- I bought the whole range and it has been languishing in my craftroom ever since. I really like the technique and feel inspired to try it again. The greens were lush and beautiful and I have serious die envy for the new double pierced nobles, they will be my first purchase when my bank balance is out of the red zone!
I was very productive this afternoon and managed to do a channel Christmas card before watching the Davis Cup doubles match- this was my chosen alternative to going out in the rain with my nephew, niece, Mum etc to see Santas Parade in Callander. I'm surprised Santa has came out of hiding for the event considering he's been avoiding my calls, texts, tweets and emails lately.
Tracy, you are so kind and thoughtful, compared to what you've been through my life is a picnic- how are you keeping, are you managing to craft or are you too fatigued? I think of you and Francis every day, you are both so brave and resilient and an example to us allxxxx
Lorraine F, you will make a fab great granny, he'll be loved beyond care despite the challenges you all face. You're right, it's very difficult for young mums nowadays, they aren't entitled to housing or special treatment and the responsibility fall on their families. Your daughter has age on her side which will help. Glad you are feeling better though and enjoying your crafting againxxxx
Melody, all my love to you and Francis, let Molly know we miss her, I'd feel as if my right arm had been cut off without the internet poor soul:-(
Off to watch Strictly, rounding off a lovely day with a bit of Gleb and other bare chested beefcakes, ahhhh......

Hi Sue
Been out of action for a few days but back for now.
Love this card - although the colour is quite a vibrant colour it is still manages to be beautifully soft and delicate. Have not watched the video yet but have a few of your videos to catch up on so going to have a bit of a Sue-a-thon!
Every time I see any of your ivy dies I remind myself that I need them but then you decide to bring out more dies which makes life incredibly difficult.
I did not manage to comment on Thanksgiving day so Happy Late Thanksgiving. I trust you were spending precious time with family and had a lovely day.
Well what can I say - Congratulations Loraine - I bet you are grinning from ear to ear. You must be over the moon to be receiving Sue's Wednesday card. She obviously felt really sorry for you as she is probably aware that you are right at the top of Santa's naughty list and are likely to have an empty stocking when Christmas morning.
Seriously - thrilled for you my bestest blog buddy x
Still not 100% so not read all the comments I have missed but I hope and pray everyone is ok. Sending lots of love to everyone - brain seriously on strike so won't say any individual names through fear of missing out someone - you know who you are my friends. I hope you all appreciate and understand that I could not comment without mentioning Lorraine x
Take care everyone

Greetings all,
I'm so incredibly behind on the blog, don't know when I'll catch up...but I saw the email today, no time to watch video but saw that Laine won the Wednesday card!!!! So excited for you :) I haven't even seen the card, but no doubt you will give it a place of great honor in your home!!! At some point I'll look back and see what method you used to garner this win, for they are always so interesting and the word-smithing is something to behold indeed!!!! Lol-I'm only laughing because I know (@ least I think I know) that the winner is drawn at random...but I still love how hard some try to win it by methods other than sheer luck!!!!! That just makes my heart happy that you won!!! I miss everyone greatly, but work and gearing up for the holiday has stolen my every waking (& many of my should-be-sleeping) moments. I guess that will give me something to look forward to in the slower month of January. Seeing all the fabulous cards, videos and of course posts I've missed will be like having my own Christmas all over again because this blog is truly a gift! I hope you don't forget me in my absence ladies :) I certainly haven't forgotten about you. Btw, I was doing a little Black Friday shopping online yesterday and I happened to make a detour to Joanna Sheen's site. It's safe to say I made a little dent in my Wish Lust (@ least from the most recent launch)! I know I'm not supposed to be buying myself things this time of year, but she had special pricing for a few more days on the new releases - and it only made sense to save $ since I was eventually going to get them anyway right? Actually, I wouldn't have even tempted myself by looking except that I received a bonus at work (most of which is going to pay bills - so at least I restrained myself from spending it all on me :) Can you tell I'm feeling a little guilty & trying to justify? But since Santa won't be stopping by my house - I sort of played Santa to myself. Oh dear, my justifying is not working, I'm starting to feel guiltier now :/ Well guilty as charged, but, the Noble B sets will be arriving in 7-10 days!!!! Anyway, I miss everyone immensely, but am so pleased I snuck a peek at the email to see that Laine won a card!!!! Yay, congrats honey - that really brought a smile to my face! Rebecca in Colorado

Hi Sue, gorgeous card and love the technique. The pierced dies are a real must have. They make such a lovely detailed difference to a card. Beautiful Sue xx Sending love and hugs to you Sue, your mom and family and to all the Wilsonettes who are in need too. Tracy, it's called chemo fog. All those who had chemo, all suffered with it, so it's just a normal occurrence. It helped to have a little note book but as for cards, it was a no mojo either! Take each day xx Congratulations Lorraine on winning the Wednesday card giveaway card! Been there and done it and what a time to do the whoop whoop dance! xx Love Karen xx

Greetings from Ecuador where, after a gorgeous morning the afternoon tropical storms have moved in and the roads are awash!

This is an interesting technique using the alcohol inks. I knew there was a reason why I bought some of the CE gloss card! I wonder what it would look like with blues to give a lapis look?

Lovely card and for one who doesn't normally go for yellow green, I like the colours.

Thanks Sue

Hello Sue,
I did everything - looked at the lovely card - watched the most helpful video - pinned the card and then forgot to leave a comment!
No one is perfect but I seem to get worse as each day passes!
This is a really great technique to try out and I will be! All being well. I fancy a Lapis blue with a hint of gold as I love Lapis.
The technique has so many possibilities.
Congratulations Lorraine! I'm worried about your Mum's hearing when you got this news!! Enjoy!
Melody - so pleased to hear Francis is a little better. Sorry Molly has no internet. Sending hugs!
Love to all, Myra xxx

Hope to see the video tomorrow, just no time today. Lovely card and I have to learn about this technique. I learn so many wonderful things watching your videos Sue.

Rebecca in Colorado-don't you just love Joanna Sheen's? I don't know what I'd do without them. Great service, and they have Sue's dies, all of them, unlike the few places here in the USA. So happy they make it possible for us to get them, too.
