Hello crafters! A lovely pop of bright colours, very easily achieved, for today's card. I have also used an existing die to make a fancy border around the striplet. Can you guess which die has been used there?
The finished dimensions are 6 3/4" x 7 3/4" in size. All for now, Sue x

Such a gorgeous card Sue, we are truly spoilt by you. I love the inks.
I am deeply saddened that Molly feels she cannot comment on a Wednesday in case she wins the card, even though Sue has kindly told her it is alright. What was said to this child is tantamount to mental abuse, shame on the person who did it. Molly please believe us when we say we do not blog daily just to win something, this is a caring community for all and you are part of this.
Melody, hope Francis is improving and that you get him home today.
Tracey, hope all is going well for you.
Happy Guy Fawkes everyone.
Morning Sue, stunning card lovely colours same die that John used this morning it is beautiful.

Simple but most effective!
Beautiful card Sue.
Morning Sue, what a lovely bright card today, will watch video later when hubby gets up but certainly looks very interesting, can't wait to try it.
Molly don't know what has gone on but please ignore them and you blog every day if you want to, I get such a lot of pleasure every morning when I go onto my favourite blogs and Sue's is the best,...
Please everyone if you have fireworks tonight then stay safe and following the guidelines.
Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

Hi Sue. Wow - fabulous card and video. I usually think of pastel colours for butterflies on cards so it's amazing to see them in bright colours.
Molly - I echo Pam's sentiments, you take the time every day to visit Sue's blog so you should not be worried about winning something. I, for one, would be delighted if I saw your name as one of Sue's winners - just the same as I am when I see a regular visitor to the blog win.
Tracy - will be thinking of you today, hope everything goes well. Sue XXX
It's just beautiful!
Pam I like your new name lol!
Is the edge die the "peace"word die or similar? Will have to watch later to find out!
Big hugs to all

Hi Sue
Gorgeous card with lovely colours. I love the 3d fluttering butterflies! Thanks for sharing.
Have a great day everyone.
Stay safe tonight.
Hugs.
What a wonderful card the video is great this is one card I will definitely be trying to recreate.
Thank you for all your ideas Sue xxx
Hi Sue
Great card - the colours really pop!
I don't have any alchohol inks but they could be this weeks buy.................
I didn't find my stray butterfly die so I might have to reinvest in a new set. I think my dad must have taken it - he passed away two years ago but it is no where to be seen and it was in front of my eyes one minute then gone the next. Bless him he loved butterflys.
He would have loved this card so I will recreate it .
Lovely video today and enough waffle from me!
Take care out there everyone.

Morning Sue,
Another stunning card today Sue, you are so talented. I haven't used my butterfly striplet die yet, but know where I can go for inspiration when I do.
Day 4 of babysitting my 4 month old Granddaughter, phew I forgot just how hard work it is. Her poor Mummy and Daddy have been pining for her but they have to go to work. Meanwhile I get to play all day with her, she is a darling.
Tomorrow I get a day off lol.

Hello Sue, this card is perfection, the white on top of the bright colours has just brightened my day :-) is it one of the Gemini dies that has been used for the frame? Have a lovely day everyone, and if you are going to the NEC take care. Bx

Trying again with correct spelling! Lol. A lovely card and quite different. I love the sentiment.
Beautiful card Sue, love that background.
Molly, I don't know you but anyone is able to comment on Sue's lovely blog whenever they like. It really is the luck of the draw who wins and everyone who comments is in with a chance. I don't know what has happened but I come on here almost every day and it is not a place where you should feel bullied by tactless comments. As far as I can see it is a friendly place with lots of lovely people who love Sues designs and I am sorry if someone has made you feel otherwise.

Hi Sue,
Lovely bright eye-catching panel for the butterfly striplet makes for a very happy card...I too thought it was the Peace die behind the panel...wrong!...lol...and I've just bought the Vancouver too so no excuses for getting it wrong but it does show how different a die can look with a bit of cutting and piecing together...very clever Sue...
...and you know that Lockers would have used that panel that you cut the separate butterflies from!...lol
Izzy
Wow, a very very beautiful card Sue, and loving the stamp .

Gorgeous card! The background looks so lovely and really shows off the striplet die beautifully.
To Molly. I don't know what has been said to you but please ignore any hurtful comments. We all just come to look at Sue's creations and leave a comment to show our appreciation. If any of us wins a card that's just great and you are very much entitled to do exactly the same. I think we would all cheer if you won a card! Most of us are kind crafters who like to be friends with our blogging buddies so please comment away and concentrate on us friendly bloggers :). Take care, Debra x

I would never have guessed! Brilliant! I have the Striplet die Just need to get some alcohol inks and the other die in question! I love it
Simple but stunning, love it x
I saw this card yesterday on Joanna Sheen's website and thought how beautiful and unusual it was. Love the simplicity of the white and the vibrant mixed colour background. Not particularly a butterfly person, but this card stands out amongst many other butterfly cards out there and could make me a convert to the use of butterflies more often. Just gorgeous.
Hi Sue . very pretty card. love Jean Z xxx
I haven't used my alcohol inks for ages and you make me want to get them out right now. A lovely bright and cheerful card Sue. You wouldn't know it was the Vancouver die without seeing the video I don't think, and yes I still need the butterfly striplet. Thank you Sue. xx

Hi Sue.
A beautiful and colourful card.
It is just wonderful. Must get the butterfly striplet.
Regards,

A stunning card. I just love the technique you have used to make the background. I see another investment coming in alcohol inks!!!
Your method in cutting the framing die both ways is very opportune. Like many I buy pre-prepared card blanks at Christmas that I know can go standard post. I wanted to use some of the seasonal striplets but was not sure how to make them pop on a DL card. Buy showing us a way to both narrow and extend a die, you have solved a problem. I much appreciate that. I don't have the die you used but I can adapt the technique using one of those I do have. Thank you for another great tip.
Teresa
Hi Sue
the Vancouver die has been used and I absolutely love this card, it is just fabulous!
love the video too x Imagine the price in a card shop for something similar ? it's just gorgeous. x

Molly, have read bits and pieces on here about someone or more than one having made horrible comments about you.As Pam and others have said we all come on here to enjoy Sue's amazing cards and leave a comment. Many leave lovely supportive comments to others that they have met on here as well.It is a very supportive community and you ,as well as anyone else has the right to come on and leave a comment. If we ever win something,as I have been lucky enough to do,then that is a wonderful bonus. Please comment any day you want to,all of them if you can!We are here supporting you, just some like me in the background but felt I needed to say this.

WOW, what a stunning card today, I love it, more like this please !!
Saw someone mentioned mini striplets above so am off to the website to check
this out as I didn't know this and since I usually use 5" and 6" square cards most

Hi Sue lovely card as always. I am a new but great fan of the striplet dies. I have not had time to watch the vidio yet but will look forward to doing so soon and am sure that as always will learn something new. Hope everyone has an enjoyable and safe guyfawks night.

For all those who are having Bonfire displays and fireworks, please be mindful of pets, keep them indoors. And for heaven's sake, please check your bonfires for HEDGEHOGS!! They seem to be vanishing at an alarming rate and they do like to settle down for the winter in piles of wood and leaves. Thank you.

Beautiful card! I haven't had time to watch the video, but after all the comments I'm beginning to think I could use my Peace die as a base for a striplet. Will be giving that a try. Thanks Sue.
Molly as Pam has said we want you to comment on a Wednesday - if only to show those bullies they haven't won. If you were to win everyone would be so pleased for you..
Good luck Tracy! Hope France's is home soon Melody.
Morning Sue. WOW The background on this panel is so colourful, just the right amount to give it that pop of colour. It looks like stained glass and with so many colours of alchol inks you could make them in so many different colourways, will have to invest in more colours lol. This is a beautiful die as is all your striplet dies, they are so versatile as you can make small or large cards with them. Thanks for another great video with all your hints and tips.
Take care everyone.
Best Wishes.

Absolutely stunning card! Love the striplets dies, must get this one! Love, Ivy xx
Morning Sue
Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh - how excited am I? Well if I told you that I have just seen your new dies would that give you a clue? On a scale of 1-10 my frenzied hysteria levels are at least 20. They are so stunning and have all gone on to my wish/want/just got to have/my life would be incomplete without list!!!
How can one person (you - Sue) be so brilliantly and creatively clever and produce the most innovative and ingenious 'toys' that Father Christmas will struggle to carry!!
Soooooooo excited to see what you have done with them. Thank you for bringing unbelievable happiness into my somewhat uneventful life. You and Jeremy Kyle deserve a medal - lol x x x x
Todays card is as always beautiful - video on hold until later. I have not got any alcohol inks in my stash, although I have just about every other imaginable colour medium. When I do watch your video later I know they will be something else that I am just going to have to get my grubby little paws on x
MELODY - I am so sorry that Francis is in hospital. I hope he is back at home again with you soon. Sending you a big hug x
MOLLY - please comment every day - I love reading everything you have to say. Lots of love x
LAINE - oh my word - if I had to live with someone who filed their paperwork in a carrier bag I would have a nervous breakdown. I drive the boys bananas because they have inherited there father's organisational skills which means that paperwork and letters are left lying round the house. Frequent confrontations occur which result in my filing their paperwork into a highly sophisticated and innovative fashion. in other words - date order.
I have a suggestion for your crazy cat problem. Why don't you get a cage? That is so cruel - how could you - I hear you shriek. Let me explain. I don't mean for Brodie. If you did your crafting in a cage you could keep Brodie away for long enough to be able to complete a task without interference. Just a thought - lol x
TRACY - hope you are ok hun. Sending you lots of love x
We ar doing our 'small' fireworks display on Saturday. We have told all the neighbours - in fact most of them are coming - and we have told everyone we know with pets in the area to spread the word as we are well aware that things are going to be loud. Dillon, our dog is not normal - he des not flinch when there are fireworks, but rustle a carrier bag and he is petrified! Noone in this house is normal so he fits in really well x
Have a lovely day everyone.

Hi, Sue,
Today's card is just what I needed. It's been raining non-stop here since last night, my back path is flooded so I can't get out the back door without soaking my feet and it's a dull, dreary day. The bright colours of this card really bucked up my mood.
Molly - don't you dare stop posting on a Wednesday. Whoever has been mean to you should hang their head in shame! You post on a regular basis so you aren't just trying to win something. I want you to promise all of us that you WILL post on a Wednesday as well as all the other days that you do. x

Hi Sue great colourful card. Love it.
Sorry not been around to comment in a while - I'm back in fell time college (at my age)! So much work load that has taken us all by surprise - not had a minute to craft since I started, but have a massive e headache today so taking some time out to do some gentle colouring and visit my favourite blogs...
Such wonderful followers - shame one or two have spoiled it for you Molly. From what I can gather, you'd be better listening to all these supportive friendly and kind ladies on here, not a mindless bunch who have issues by the sound of it. Says more about them than it does you. Feel the love and comment as much as you like. If there are to be any ground rules like that - Sue will set them, not a bunch of green-eyed-monsters!! Lol.
Nice to read such lovely comments as well as look at a beautiful card!!
Take care everyone.

Hi Sue,
What a beautiful and brightly coloured card, I love it all, of course butterflies are my favourite. Your card has certainly brightened up my day, as the weather today here in Baldock, is a typical November day, gloom and doom. !

Hi Sue great card. Have just bought the die you have used..
An exciting colored card today. I like! I did not guess correctly on the filigree die you used behind the "butterflies in flight" piece. The butterflies striplet die is on my wish list. You are one amazing woman with your cut, piece, and tape technique. How do you manage to use alcohol inks with out "painting" your fingers, finger nails, and everything around you? I always look like I have swirled my hands in a bowl of ink everytime I use the alcohol inks. Thanks for the video.
Hi Sue,
Lovely card. I've not got alcohol inks but I have got that beautiful butterfly sriplet I haven't used it yet though so thanks for the inspiration.
I seen your new dies yesterday I got told off by my hubby because I squealed as I seen each one they are fantastic!! and I need every one of them. they have all jumped to number one on my need!! need!! need!! list.
Molly I don't know what was said to you please! please! please! don't let anybody stop you commenting whenever you want to. You can't let this nasty person or people win. hope you are ok and that your Grandad is home from hospital, love and hug

Helloooo Sue and the Wilsonettes! Oh wow and wow! This card is stunning Sue. Although I don't have any of these inks, it is a fantastic technique and I'm still mesmerised each time. Wow! Beautiful! xx I'd just like to say, I can't understand how someone could be so awful to such a lovely, sensitive, thoughtful, kind and beautiful little girl, who is going through such a tough time, say horrible things. Molly, you keep commentating on the Wednesday card giveaway. You have as much right as we all have including anyone new Wilsonettes, that comes onto this wonderful blog and writes a comment. You keep coming on sweetheart. One of these days your name will be pulled out and there will be a lot of whoop whoops going on, not just from you, but us as well! Quite a few of us have won one of Sue's beautiful cards already and still leave a comment, but not to win the card, as Sue so well knows. So please please keep coming on here Molly, we all love to hear from you.....(especially on a WEDNESDAY).......!!!!!! I feel so sorry that Molly has been bullied and abused. I don't know the full story but please Molly, you post when you can and when you want to, and take no notice of any nasty comments.
Love to all

Hello sue an everyone I think today's card is so beautiful I love the way the colours show through the butterfly striplet. The butterfly striplet die was 1 of the first 1 I put on the list for nan to buy an she did buy it but we not been able to use it yet.
I have 1 of sues cards she sent it to me a long time ago when my nan was in hospital because she as a brain cancer an sometimes if it grows a little bit she as to have chemo an radio treatment. An I brought a card that sue was selling on her auction my dad let me buy it and then sue also sent 1 just for me it's so beautiful an my dad made a frame for it an it's on my bedroom wall. I will comment on Wednesdays if I can I just don't want to make trouble an not be allowed to use the blog nan said I am to listen to you all an sue. My dad as made my Facebook private so people can't come an say anything now only my friends an made new email for me. Thank you everyone Molly oxoxox

Love this card Sue, probably due to the bright colours against the plain white card and also probably due to the very pretty die too
Lisbeth

Beautiful card and I love the sentiment.
Gorgeous card Sue I absolutely love it.
Hi Sue,
Absolutely love this card, you make it look so simple, and you are a wizard at chopping things up to make a spectacular card. Who would have thought this was the Vancouver die....amazing!

Hi Sue
Wow what a stunning card today and a beautiful frame for a beautiful striplet. Thank you for sharing this delight with us.
Molly sweetheart you comment every day and ignor anyone who says otherwise, you are such a lovely caring girl and we should be celebrating your joy of crafting rather than trying to squash it. You may be the die or stamp designer of the future and what a waste that would be if someone stopped you doing what you love. I hope grandad comes home from hospital soon and I hope nan is ok too. Xxxx

Good evening Sue and the fab Wilsonettes!
Yep, this beautiful card has achieved the near impossible by putting a smile on my miserable face, so well done Sue!:-) The colours are fantastically vibrant and really cheering on such a dark, dismal day. For a change I watched your demo before commenting, such was my curiosity about the mystery die, and who would have thought that the Vancouver was the candidate rather than a configuration or border die- you cut and tape your dies with ease and imagination and I am perplexed as to where you get your inspiration from. Suffice to say that I am well impressed by the results, it has elevated a clean and simple card onto a level of sheer beauty and brilliance...it has even inspired me to get my own inks out of mothballs and have a play again!
Like I said, today I struggled to motivate myself out of my comfy, warm pjs...the silk ones aren't cutting the mustard given the damp, dreary weather, methinks it may be time for my cream furry onesie....so I decided to just go with the flow and be a total vegetable for a change. I was in the kitchen eating my brekkie and contemplating life when Brodie made a suggestion as to how we should spend the day by arriving with a jumbo sized roll of double sided finger lift tape in his mouth and positioning it at my feet, talk about guilt trip, even the cat is reminding me that I am woefully behind in my Christmas card production! It appears that he has noticed where I keep my tape and adhesives and decided to open the drawer and help himself!...this is an alarming development because I fear that it won't be long before he learns how to operate my laptop and order his own crafty goodies online:-)
Yvonne, I like your suggestion that I cage myself away from Brodies interference but I fear that it may prove fruitless because he would no doubt exact appropriate revenge for his cruel exclusion- he is clearly in charge in our household...bengals are known for their aggressively controlling behaviour....and I fear for my own safety if he doesn't get his own way:-)
Oh your poor baby, afraid of carrier bags:-( Brodie loves them with a passion and likes nothing better than to climb inside and be swung around the room in a frantic fashion, our homemade version of the Waltzers for cats!
I like your organisational skills, I have alphabetised my entire cd collection, colour coded my wardrobe, various drawers of tights, jumpers, nightwear etc shoes and handbags! I feel that we are familiar enough for me to suggest that you, like me, are freakishly controlling and obsessive, have you ever considered therapy or do you enjoy organising with military precision?:-)
Molly, we all comment on Sues blog to share our love and admiration for this lovely, talented lady- the fact that she is generous enough to offer us all the chance to receive one of her masterpieces whilst it is greatly appreciated it is so not the reason that we share our thoughts
You may be the proud owner of a card already, but don't let that stop you from commenting- if you were chosen again in the future I would be over the moon for youxxx
Tracy, hope you've had a good result today and can concentrate on the next stage of your treatment, love and hugsxxxx
Hugs to Melody and Francis too, hope his blood count improves enough to return homexx
Hope you all enjoyed Bonfire Night and the fireworks, and hope those lucky enough to visit the NEC had a fab day!

Hi Sue
Another stunner as usual. This looks like the hullo die behind your alcohol inks. Love the combination.
Molly you comment as much as you like darling. Don't let the bully get to you. Your a much better person than they are. You'll hear us all cheering if you win a Sue card.
Hi Sue,
Absolutely stunning. Love it.
Much love,

Hi Sue
Please don't think I'm only commenting on butterfly striplet days! It's been one of those weeks I'm afraid! I love this, It'll be number one to try with my alcohol inks when I get some of the mixative stuff. I don't have the other die you used but as I love a hack I'm sure I'll stumble upon an acceptable alternative. I'm going to cut a lot of dies out with my scrap card to be able to experiment with I think. Oh, and I saw today I'll have to make a new shopping list... Won't comment further until appropriate ;-)
I'm aware I've missed a few days so forgive me trying to catch up
Melody, I'm sorry Francis has been unwell. I hope he feels stronger soon and he's soon home with you, hugs to you both xxx
Good girl Molly... so proud and happy to see you post today. We know you love crafting and love Sue's work like we do, and we know you comment here with her blessing. Glad Dad has tightened security for you on FB and made you feel safe. Sending hugs x
Tracy, I hope the specialists have a positive plan going forward for you, sending you hugs too x
Laine, I think Bengals and Lurchers have a lot in common, Billy certainly has cat-like tendancies, I did laugh at Yvonnes references to a cage... for you!
Had a b****r of a week with my neck, hence my lack of posts. Apologies for that, sending hugs to every one of you, sending extra hugs if you need them. Wishing your dies cut first time and your inks stay wet and colourful :-)
