Sue, I love the border on today's card but don't like the base so thankfully I don't have to add that to my very long list :)
Congratulations to today's very lucky winners of this week's beautiful cards.
Theresa, I wish you all the best for Monday's 99p and that you can craft again very soon.
Tracy, I hope you have a bit more oomph today and that the nausea has passed.
Wheely, I hope your head is better today. I had a good trip down to Sainsbury yesterday on my new charger but had a terrible time getting it out of the outhouse as the door frame has a high ridge. Manoeuvring it out has set off my costochondritis so I am feeling very sorry for myself today.
Oh Melody, I am sorry Francis was not happy about his brother coming. Surely if the boot was on the other foot he would want to see his brother? I hope the visit goes well today, hugs.
Well along with the pain caused by the costochondritis I lose my voice so that's really hard work too.
I have decided that when I am better again I will take the wreath apart and do it how I want on the other side. Really miss my crafting when I am like this but if I don't take it very easy then it will just prolong it.
Wishing good things to all xxx

Evening Sue
Ok so now I have to get this vase die. I can picture so many cards in my mind that it would be so fabulous on. Love the colour palate of this card very muted and subtle but just gorgeous x
Sorry not been about. feeling really exhausted. MIL was here again yesterday. It really isn't her fault but she really is unable to do anything and although she is not being demanding at all just have to keep asking her if she is ok and if she wants or needs anything. I am so used to being here most days by myself so just having someone here and having to make conversation is somewhat tiring. Don't get me wrong I can talk for England but when it is a necessity instead of a choice it's hard work.
Anyway it is what it is and I think this situation is going to remain the same for a while yet. I really do feel for Kath (my MIL), as she was always incredibly active considering her age but she now gets breathless when she is just sitting in a chair. I know it is hard for us but it is miserable for her.
So explanation of absence now complete I will say goodnight, I am having an early night and am hoping that I am not too worn out to catch up properly with all your comments tomorrow.
Lots of love to everyone. Don't know what is going on wit you all but intend to rectify that tomorrow.
Take care all

Good evening Sue and the lovely Wilsonettes,

First of all, huge congratulations to the lucky recipients of Sues fabulous cards, enjoy your prizexxxx
I'm not usually a fan of simple cards but today's has a cool elegance that deserves only admiration. Even without all the bells and whistles of extravagant embellishments you make a card that is clean and understated in its sophistication, have you ever made a bad card Sue?I seriously doubt it, but I know I have:-)....not so much since I was re educated by a master though thankfully:-)
As I said, my preference is to make OTT cards that struggle to stand up without a hoist:-), so I don't see an occasion for me to unashamedly copy today's card, however, it is charming nonetheless less and I defy anyone not to be cock a hoop to receive it.
I've been out of action a few days, the new antibiotics are making me sick, quite literally, so I've not been feeling my usual charming ,witty self:-)...that can't possibly be the case I hear you say, but believe me, I don't make a very good patient so it's best I don't inflict that on anyone other than close family- even they have threatened to vacate the country to avoid me!
I do feel moderately cheered by the fact that for the first day in what feels like months, it hasn't rained!!??! Not only that, but the sun actually shone, highlighting the snow on the Ochils which was lovely- I love proper winter weather like cold white frosts that last all day even when the sun shines, it makes me feel really festive.
I had planned to do some festive cards today but I don't have either the energy or the inclination. A travesty considering I have a brand new Platinum machine begging to be broken in- I got so far as taking it out of the box, setting it up ie putting the handle on, and cutting out one die to road test it. Either I'm pathetically feeble...a distinct possibility...or the handle is super stiff and difficult to turn, I'm hoping that it will become looser as I use it.
Really missed keeping up to date with everyone's comments, had a quick look through today's but need a proper catch up.
Big hugs to all my blog buddies, particularly Yvonne, know what you mean about feeling totally drained by the company of others, I'm a chatterbox but after a few hours of intense interaction I need a lie down and a nap:-) whilst it's fulfilling to help someone, remember to get enough rest yourself tooxxxx
Hugs to Beth, Maria, Rebecca, Jan, Wheely Bad,Theresa, Tracy, Lorraine F, melody and Molly, plus hope you feel better after your hospital visit Linda, take caresxxxx

Hi Sue. What a fab video today and a great card too !! I love that you can use the Vase dies to make different combinations. You are very clever Sue, you just seem to think of everything when designing your dies !!! The Catkins are very nice and I think it really bought them to life when you used the cosmic shimmer lacquer on them. I have this thank you die and it is great. Using two colours for the word dies gives such lovely results. I have done this several times with your new swirly "Happy Birthday" die and it has looked fab every time. Thank you for sharing Sue. Francis is just so down his brothers visit was not great but it went better than I thought and when he said I be back to see you soon Francis didn't say no. Thank you all again Molly as wrote every word down that's been said about him an she is putting a sort of like scrapbook together of comments. I watched the video on this and really liked it. The catkins and vase look like the ones with long twigs in that people have in their home as decorative pieces x

Hi Sue
Beautiful card & love the Catkin sprays which look amazing & look perfect in the vase.
Really like the brown tones of this card which we don't see or seem to use very often but maybe that should change as it looks so pretty.
Just off to watch the video now as wanted to leave my comments so I don't forget....
Looking forward to receiving my 'Just Because' Die which I was one of your lucky winners for your new die collection of last week & to get crafting with them.. Thank you so much for all your hard work, your one amazing crafting inspiration....
