Finishing Touches

Hello all!  I have a new concept to introduce to you here in this post.  These are called Buckle Bars.  There are two designs, the Delicate Filigree Buckle Bar and the Scalloped Lattice Buckle Bar.  You need to cut two of them and one end will slip into the other end to create a pretty buckle. Cut four of them and make a stunning frame.   As shown in this sample, they make a beautiful border on cards.  I have other samples to show you several other ideas for them as well.  A bit different, but oh so useful you will see.  Leave me a comment and let me know what you think of this idea.  Day four has come to a close, but there is still one more day full of dies for your approval.  I hope you can join me at 6am for the start of our final blog launch day.  All for now, Sue x

Wasn't sure I wanted them when I first saw the die (by themselves), but now I have changed my mind. Makes a pretty card, and I can't wait to see how you use them.

Couldn't get my head around these when I first saw them but now, what a clever idea.
Another innovation.
Melody, warm wishes to you, Francis and all your family. I've been trying to catch up with some of the comments I've missed over the last couple of weeks and I'm so sorry to read how poorly Francis has been.
Take care everyone.

Hi Sue
What a brilliant idea these buckle dies are! So clever. I read an earlier comment about them being fab for a gatefold die and I think they're right! The card shows off the mini gemini so well as well - that die really creates a look of lace. Best wishes Anne O (Epsom)

Wow, a brilliant idea - i expected the kind of buckle you slide over a ribbon but this closure is infinitely better. I can see these as belly bands keeping wedding invitations closed - yummy. They're on my Christmas list!
Thanks for all your innovation,

I love your new concept of Buckle Bars! The look is beautiful. I was a huge fan of ribbon slides back in the day so this reminds me of a contemporary remake of the ribbon slide but with much more versatility. I really love this idea and your card is gorgeous. I love the look of ruffled lace on this card too.

Buckle Bars - I like the way the words sound together- "Buckle Bars"! Besides the sound, I also like how the buckle bars look on you card. I can see these bars being cut numerous times and layering up around and about one's card front. Interesting possiblilities.
