Good morning all! This card was the result of finding a small piece of unusual ribbon in my craft stash that I just had to use! I found some decorative paper at a small, but very nice stamp and scrap store near my parents house in Florida. Again, it was a bit metallic in look, not my usual taste but there was just something about it that caught my eye and it seemed to match my ribbon very nicely. I used the Lace Doily Motif die to build upon, then added the Holly Motif die. I stamped my sentiment and cut it out with the small Teardrop Circle Die. They were all cut out of cream card and layered up to create the focal point for the card. I tied my bow and added a flower that I made out of cream coloured tulle to the centre of it. I added some black rhinestone swirlies to the background and two black decorative stick pins. To balance the card I added a back mat layer of black card and three small black glints to the corner. A quick and easy card, but I was very happy with the results. What's your opinion on it? All for now, Sue x

An absolutely gorgeous card. I love the metallic look, so this is just in my taste. You did an awesome job on this one here Sue, and it just looks like a million, so gorgeous.

That combination of spellbinders looks great and I like the three panelled effect in the background. Thanks for a lovely idea!
love it :)...
Stunning card and with DP that you weren't entirely sure of. The combination of die cuts is lovely and again you've used a very nice sentiment. Elizabeth x
Hi Sue, the papers you choose always catch my eye, my vote is for a handpicked range , by yourself, love the colours, tones and textures.
another gorgeous intricate designed card, love it !
This is another stunning card! Youre clearly showing how effective a limited colour palette can be, and its great to start from the ribbon!! Also, I like that you have the lowest spellbinder as a diamond, instead of lining it up square, and I am sure that mixing the diecuts like this could so easily translate to whatever selection anyone has. Inspired!
I love it! using all the different spellbinders together that really compliment each other and the colours you've used are fab. Another great card Sue Hugs Anne x
Stunning, I love the way you have used the dies; hugs, Carole x
I love the swirly- twirly things you use - they really make a difference

A very elegant and expensive looking card. You really should do a book or DVD on Spellbinders and the many ways to use them.
The cream centrepiece looks so pretty with the metallic. The black 'calms' it down. Very festive.x
Stunning Card Sue! I love the Lace Doily Motif and the Holly Motif Dies and the colours are so striking together.
Happy Crafting!!! :) X X
Beautiful card Sue. Love the way you found the paper to match the ribbon. Like the blocking too.

There is something about black and gold that oozes elegance
Hi Sue,
I love this colour combination I think it would work great for an art deco themed card.
