Extended Border Card

Hi bloggers!  Did you know that you can easily extend borders to create longer areas if needed for your card designs?  This video shows you how easy it is to do.

The finished dimensions are 7 1/4" x  8 1/2" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Dear Sue and Loyal Commenters,

This is the card I won! When I showed my friend Donna at work, she observed that the design had been cut out and put back in. I hadn't noticed that. I started to explain that you had cut the design into the card, but she showed me you had cut the design out and put it back in. She was impressed that you had thought of that. I was impressed that she had spotted your technique. And today we get a video showing she was right! Thanks for the tip, for the card and for the video!

Plus another lesson in extending a border. The key seems to be getting the die seated perfectly.

Another good thing about the video is that the color shows up. The stills seem grey, but your lovely wisteria comes through in the video.

Healing to all in need of heaps and loads or just a little. Emotional healing too, same way. And Laine, if I were you, I'd look for a cat harness fitted with little miniature sleigh bells everywhere.

Love,
Donita

Hi Sue. It is really good to know that border dies can be extended so they are as good for larger cards as for smaller ones. This also applies to the Peony Diamond which works well on small cards and can also be used on larger ones as you have shown here. Love the colour choice today.
