Wednesday Weekly Card Giveaway

Hi crafters!  Today's card offering is a lovely wisteria and white number with a tiny bit of black as an accent.  I started with a piece of coconut white card and used the Peony Diamond die to cut the shapes into both the left and right side of the card, with a little overlap in the centre.  I used the Indonesian border decorative die to cut the top and bottom  edges of the card too.  I backed it with wisteria card and added flatback pearls to the die cut areas.   Cut the Peony Diamond again but in wisteria card.  Add mounting foam to the back and attach in the centre of the card, covering the overlap area.  Cut the inside of the die white and glue into place on top of the die.  Stamp your sentiment in black in the centre.  I tied a messy bow with the mauve seam binding and added it to the left of the card.  Add a black crystal sparkler in the centre and two matching stick pins as accents.  The card was completed with white, black and wisteria mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/4" x  8 1/2" in size.  Leave a comment to be included in the drawing  to win this one!  All for now, Sue x

What a delight for our Wednesday giveaway, fingers crossed everyone to be the lucky recipient, thank you Sue.
Barbara , you go girl, love your positive attitude. It will be a long haul to recovery but please take it slowly. 2 bouts of pneumonia within a year caused my lung and breathing problems, don't want you to go through that. Rest, rest and more rest.
Yvonne, hope the film and popcorn fest went well. Thank you fir the update about Laine,Carmen us right, we do miss her as we did you.
Karen, hope hubbys visit to consultant went well.
Elaine, I hope you know just how many friends you have on here to support and encourage you. We all know how hard things have been for you over the last year or so, you are all things to all the people in your life, you are in ours now and we want to help in any way we can. Big hugs to you and your family. Hope Andrew is feeling a little more recovered.
Rosemary, you must have been so pleased at the reception your good news got, everyone was delighted for you, you certainly made our day, lovely lady. No prescription yet but I am managing well without it at the moment, since they appear to have stopped moving the cabinets for now.
Daily hugs to all, again special hugs for missing and poorly friends, has anyone heard from Norah, hope she is well.

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, such a beautiful card today Sue, oh I would love to win this as would everyone of your Wilsonettes, it really is stunning.

Pam I reiterate all you have said and am so pleased that they have stopped moving the cabinets, at least for now.

No Wednesday craft club meeting for us today as the Church where we hire the hall is taken over for 1 week in the year as a club for local children to go to do lots of fun things, a very popular group it is too. So 5 of us in my group are going to another friends house to have a little craft group of our own today, I am going to be doing some glitter and heat embossing (hope she doesn't have the fan on).

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

Aww Pam you and all my lovely blog friends are just the best ever , thank you all { far to many to mention by name ,but you all know who you are } My youngest son and his partner who is from the Philippines always send very large boxes over in time for Christmas of anything useful for them as they have not got much , i always send craft stash for the children of the free Church and the School ,they have sent me pictures on Facebook over the years of them using the items i send to them , it makes me feel good that i can bring a smile to a little face , so i have started to sort out some stash last night , i will do a little each day it will help towards finding what i have forgotten i have and getting it all into some sort of order .
I also intent to save a few £s each week toward an electric die cut machine { why did i not think of this instead of struggling doh } so with all your and ideas i have made a start my lovely friends Thank you .xx

Andrew was not too good yesterday i do hope he feels better for tomorrow as he is the big 50

Hi Sue, I absolutely love, love, love this card. You know wisteria is one of my favourite colours and the dies are gorgeous, I can see some moving around on my 'must have' list. I know I have only just won on the comment game but I shall be so jealous of whoever wins this beauty :-)

Elaine - that is a lovely thing to do for the Philippine people and will indeed help you tidy up your stash. I actually enjoy the occasional tidy up as I forget so many of the things I have - did I hear someone say I must have too much? Never! In case I forget tomorrow please wish Andrew a Happy Birthday for me and I hope he is feeling well enough to enjoy it.
Karen - good news for your hubby, you will be so relieved.

Non-stop rain today from the early hours so I think a little crafting is in order before I have to go out after lunch. Wishing everyone a good day.

Lovely feminine card today in my favorite color, any shade or purple. Just wanted you to know, thanks to you showing me how, yesterday I cut your Mini Infinity Striplet die down the middle to reach across of my 5 x 7 card. I was able to adhere a Pixie Powdered water colored rose that covered the missing part of the striplet. This was the first time I have done this technique. I must say, I am proud of myself. And the result looks great.
