Thanks

Hello there my crafty friends!   I am skipping back to the Atlantic Ocean collection for today's offering.  I cut the Atlantic Ocean Background out of black card, backing it with Antique Gold card.  Next I cut the centre out of it to create a frame and added mounting foam to the back.  I embossed a piece of white card with the Aztec Flower folder and attached the frame over it.  I continued to cut the centre with the next die in the set to add more detail, then backed it with black and cut the centre out of it.  I added foam, then turned it to a diamond orientation and attached it in the centre of the card.    I cut the frame from the Jessica die in black and backed it with gold and cut the centre out.  I stamped my sentiment and attached the frame over it, then attached it across the centre of the card.  I made a flower from the Chrysanthemum set out of gold card and seated it with ribbon and leaves in the corner.  I used both sets of the Double Pierced Noble Squares to create a multi layered frame out of black, gold and white and added it over the background of the card to define the edges of the card.  As finishing touches I added a couple of butterflies that were cut out of black card from the Cascading Butterflies die set.  White, black and gold mats and layers were used to complete the card.  The finished dimensions are 8" x  8" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, oh such a lovely card today, the Atlantic collection is one of my most favourite (after the Festive ones).

You really did us proud on Hochanda, loved every one of the shows, you were truly amazing, I so love watching you craft. I made 2 of the stained glass poinsettia cards yesterday one using the red glitter kiss which is amazing and the other using the DWCV card pads, I will send you the pictures.

Pam I reiterate all you have said above, I was reading yesterdays comments on here early this morning and you have covered everything in a nutshell, thank you. Hope all goes well this afternoon for you.

Yorkiegirl, sorry you had such a nightmare journey home from Cornwall, sounds like they threw everything but the kitchen sink at you, it is always nice to have a holiday but also nice to come home.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

Morning Sue. Hope you got back home safe and sound after your wonderful weekend shows. I'm still hearing the golden, gentle and if you'll excuse me the seductive voice of Yannis when he was talking about the Glitter Kiss "the first date gentle kiss" I'm afraid I couldn't concentrate much after that lol how did you not just melt Sue lol see, I'm getting all unnecessary just going over it again lol.

So I said I rambled to much with rubbish on here so I'm going to compliment you on this beautiful die and sample, and add I've seen many many fabulous works of art on various fb pages that have used the Atlantic Ocean collection.
Sending much love n hugs your way. Have a good one xxx

Hello Sue and all
Lovely, lovely card - I almost ordered the Atlantic collection but then the Christmas collection came out and - well, I am so happy with what I have from that -specially after finally seeing you on Hochanda - yes, we now have National fast broadband and it has fixed the endless buffering problems with watching the catch up shows. I have so far only seen one show but you used some of the dies I have ordered and I am even keener to start on cards now. There are some really good specials too !
Going back on line for more of your demos, second your comments on the Glitter Kiss Stephanie,
like Kitty, I forgot to congratulate the winners yesterday - enjoy your prizes

Dear Sue and Satisfied Customers,

Glad I got this set. Glad of every SW set I have. Glad I can't get everything I want when I want it. Life is good when you want something and have to figure how to get it. Wouldn't it be boring to suddenly be rich and able to get everything? Where would be the joy of a SW set coming in the mail? And getting to see samples on the blog every day. I hope you recover quickly from the high-intensity weekend coming so soon after your Festive launch. Thanks for the high-sample weekend.

Love,
Donita

Diane, that trifle sounds scrumptious, almost like a tiramisu. Pam, hope they haven't been moving things around over the weekend and that you have a peaceful week at work. I have a meeting this morning so I can be told what jobs I have to do for the last two weeks of term, as the 19 year old is taking over next week (before I've actually finished)! I'll echo the rest of Pam's comments. Hugs to all. Sue xxx

Good morning Sue and the Wilsonettes,
This is a beautiful stylish card Sue and i love everything about it, even down to the colours (which i know don't collapse) so much so that i went to check out it's ingredients and the only part that i have apart from the card it the Atlantic die, so does that count i wonder? Since i have not too small a stock of dies, i am quite sure that i can make it some other way. My girl got me a wee heart shaped Radley purse from Harry to give me and when i found out how much it had cost, i nearly collapse as i could have got another noble die set that i wanted for less than it cost. She shares her fathers views on my craft collection, that is until she wants me to make something up for her. Oh well i will just need to have plain squares and prick then with my ruler around the outside edge. Thank you flower for a lovely WOW that would be a popular make as i can see it made for males as well. Have a good day Sue and i hope that the weather is good to you.
CraftySueToo, i take it they haven't heard the phrase "here's your hat, where's your hurry?" Talk about getting that no wanted feeling flower, i feel really sorry for you as they are making sure that you get the message that they will carry on when you are away. It would be nice to think that you were going to be missed for your self and all the little things that you accomplished. Never mind flower, onwards and upwards and remember you're not looking back as you're not going that way, you're going forwards into a new happy phase of your life.
Oh Yorkie Girl, what a horrendous homeward journey, i hope that it hasn't spoiled the good time that you enjoyed down at Cornwall. My son Rory is travelling down to Birmingham next week and i have told him that i want his friend to pick him up at the bus station as i don't want him walking about there on his own. He was going down by train but it was proving to be just so expensive so that megabus at £20 each way was the better option. His friend Peter was going to come up to collect him until i put the kybosh on that idea. It is not just 5 minutes up the road to Glenochil and then to go back down again with him, to return him 2 weeks later, ehh no. Peter loves his cars and loves driving them(he has fancy fancy fast cars) so doesn't think anything of driving them long distances, but i don't think that is fair, so picking him up at the bus station is a better proposition all round.
Lynda, i'm sorry that your other wee grandson couldn't be there to wish you a happy birthday along with his cousins but i hope that you had a lovely day any way flower.
Pam flower, i hope that the respiratory clinic does something and it's not just a quick "oh you're feeling a bit better, awh well we will leave you like that the now and see you in 6 months again". It takes me that long to get there and then to get nothing done or changed any really works me up. It's a full service and mot that i need to go for but the thought of that walk and i'm breathless before i even get there, lol. Here's hoping that they are more of a help than a hindrance flower.

Glenharon said...

Lorraine flower i hope that your migraine fades away back where it came from again and soon for you flower. I can work on with a headache but a migraine floors me into my bed with the curtains shut along with the blinds, so i can only hope that you are back to normal soon. Sending hugs across to you and down to PP Yvonne who we need better again as well.
Well we have a lovely day up here in central Scotland and i hope that it stays like that with my beautiful hills showing off their beauty. I am going to make a start on some of my christmas cards and cut out from my new SW dies while hubby is at work and doesn't see them still in the packets, because then he'll know that they are new ones and go daft.
Sending hugs to all the Wilsonettes and honorary Wilsonettes too, i hope you have a good day or a better day than perhaps you've had lately,
love and crafty hugs

Looking forward to your next batch of shows on HOCHANDA.

Steph, like you I have been catching up on Sue's weekend shows & was stunned to hear my name mentioned. When Sue showcased t he festive collection I said to my husband 'there's my angel' (Sue's angel of course, but in rubber stamp form!) I don't think I commented at the time because I thought I didn't need the die as I had the stamp! However will rectify that & now buy the die as it is associated with me & the card I made! Thank you Sue.

Apart from the breathtaking colour, the dies used are equally gorgeous....i love the design of the Atlantic Background, square makes a refreshing change. The Crysanthamum is superb and the addition of the butterflies is an inspired choice and really finishes off the card beautifully. We have had the pleasure of being utterly spoiled over the past couple of days and I thankyou for all the hard work you have so obviously put in on our behalf...please don't retire anytime soon Sue, we would be devastated and at a loss for inspirational creative input:-)
As Norah so beautifully described, we have had a lovely, if a tad windy, day in Stirling and her hills were indeed a picture to behold.
I had an appointment for a blow dry whilst my Mum had a cut and colour, however, my hair was giving Wurzel Gummage a run for his money and the expression dragged through a hedge backwards springs to mind, so my hairdresser took great pity on me and did a cut and colour for me too:-) Feel like a new woman, ready to face the vagaries of the world with gusto, only problem being my savings for Sues shows next week have taken quite a hit:-( It didn't help that a spied a lovely dress in Stons and just had to have it! You would love it Saba, its navy with big red and pink flowers:-)
Feeling tired this evening after my late appointment but at least yesterdays migraine is a distant memory, thanks for the good wishes they really helped.
Myra, glad to hear that you are feeling brighter today, hope it continues because migraines are tough cookies to shift.
Pam, hope your appointment went well, if anything, it must be a relief to get away from the madness at work:-)
Elaine, great that Andrew has thoroughly enjoyed his fishing trip, hope you are feeling better and that your eye is clearing up.
Carmen, hope you enjoyed your long weekend and that the weather was glorious.
Dawn, sorry to hear of your trips to A&E, hope you're feeling a bit better and on the road to recovery.
P, how is Yeti settling in, is he still a bit wild?
Yvonne, i know you're probably too ill to bother at the moment with your tablet but i will send you healing hugs nonetheless in the hope that we will be sparring again soonxxx
Hugs to all my blog besties and Norah, i do hope Rory has a safe trip and enjoys his time awayxxx

Lovely design. I'm not a fan of so much black but I'm sure this would work with other colours too. The Cascading Butterflies are my most used dies at the moment.
Take care everyone.
