Stepped Striplet Card

Hi crafters!  The Petite Tiles Squares Striplet is a really versatile die as it can be used for both masculine and feminine projects and it has a really contemporary feel to it.  Today's video card is a real unisex style that can be used for so many occasions as well.  I hope you like it!

The finished dimensions are 6 3/4" x  8 1/2" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Gorgeous card Sue, love it.
It would have been my mums 93rd birthday today, although she died when she was 42, I still buy flowers for her every birthday. Happy birthday Mum xx
June, I just knew it was you, never thought of another one. I'm so glad you won this wonderful prize, couldn't have gone to a nicer lady.
Elaine, my granddaughter Rachael (14) does Archery too, she loves it. I'm glad Andrew had a good day and your grandson had a wonderful time. Well done to your winners in the family.
Tracey, just the boost you need, I've seen the new collection, it's very beautiful.
Lorraine, glad you have a little voice back, that ice cream should be on the NHS.
Tina, hope all is well with you and Mick.
Anne, hope your daughter is feeling better after stitches removed, did you get to the craft shop.
Hugs to all.

Hi Sue good morning. This is a brilliant set of dies to use on those masculine cards, it's not one of those I own but should defiantly consider. It's great that you have given us more and more 'uni-sex' type dies to work with.thank you. This is one of your many samples I really enjoy looking at over n over.
Have a great day xx

Hi Sue
I so love your card ,the striplet dies are amazing every single one of them. { i love em }

Pam i think Archery is getting more popular now , Natasha is 15 and she loves it too ryan started a couple of years ago after having lessons ,at his first event he got a third place we were so proud of him , however he does not like to travel up and down the country every weekend to different events if they are far away as he gets Car sickness . { so he would much rather play with his mates.}
Andrew sees the Consultant today, we are hoping the leak has stopped and he can now start his treatment .
Big hugs to all
Take Care

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, what a stunner today, I have seen this on fb and other places and wanted to get round to making it but never seem to have the time (well you know what I mean), so this video is going to spur me on, I really like it and also that it can be used s a man's card too, thank you so much Sue, your a diamond.

I must first say that I was blown away with all the congratulation messages I received yesterday regarding my CC win, thank you all so much from the bottom of my heart, it really did choke me up when I read all of them, what lovely friends you all are.

Pam - your Mum knows you still take her flowers even though she cannot smell them or see them, on what would have been her 93rd birthday, sending a special hug to you.

Well done to Andrew on winning 1st place...and Elaine so pleased your grandson enjoyed himself.

Tracey, thinking of you, glad you bought the whole bundle

Lorraine wouldn't it be nice if ice cream was on the NHS, it got your voice back.

Tina and Mick, hugs

Fluffycat - you did make me laugh about having to lay down after using black card to mat and layer on a card.........I can just image it.....

Anne, I am sure your daughter feels much better now those peskie stitches are out, I always found that once these things were removed that recovery was much quicker......oh what did you buy in the craft shop then, spill the beans.

It is my grandsons 14th birthday today and I mad a card for him using the Shadow box card and in the squares I put loads of technical gadgets, ie mobile phone, ipad, music box, games console, ear phones etc., I was very pleased how it turned out, I will put a picture onto Sue's fb page for you to see it if you want.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

Good morning all. Gorgeous card Sue.

I have a couple of striplet/mini striplet dies (this one's on my want list). I used the one with the little circles backed with a bright and cheerful watercolour background to make a card for a 16th birthday at the weekend and the recipient loved it.

Our daughter is feeling much better now the stitches are out. One of them was very tight and the area is inflamed. District nurse will check the incisions again next week. Think my daughter will be very happy on Friday when she can drive again. She hates being dependent on other people.
I didn't get to the craft shop Pam. My grandaughter came to visit with Great grandaughter after taking her to the doctor for her innoculations. Poor little thing cried her little eyes out when they stuck the needles in. But, it has to be done to protect her from those awful diseases.

I did manage to order a few things online after they left LOL. I'm expecting a delivery today. Got a few more colour clouds (I absolutely love them. Got a set of 24 Coloursoft pencils to compare to my Polychromos. And no order is complete without a set of dies...

Have a lovely day everyone.

June, I did a little cheer when I heard the name and hoped that it was you and not another person with the same name. I think it's brilliant when prizes go to real crafters rather than those who just enter to win something! Would love to see your card on Sue's fb page. Hugs to all. Sue xxx

Morning Sue,

Such a gorgeous card to feast my eyes on. I don't have this particular striplet so will try with others I already have.

Happy Birthday to your mother Pam, I am sure she knows you w are l there to leave the flowers. I always talk to Pete when I lay his floral tributes and when I do, a Red Admiral butterfly appears close to hand and stays with me until I leave, then he flutters away. Strangely enough, I kept finding them in our house for months after Pete first died and found them very comforting.

Had a few rocky months earlier this year and am now more settled. I did read comments but for some strange reason did not feel I could leave any, nor on any of the blogs I follow. Odd that.

Congratulations June on your wonderful win. WOW! WOW! WOW!, you will enjoy the enormous pleasure of creating amazing cards with your new dies.

For all in pain, sorrow or unhappiness, I hope your day will become kinder for you.

Hi Sue,
I love this!!! I think I've got this striplet as well so I'll be able to give this a try once I've watched the video.
Pam, my mum and dad would have both been 95 this year, dad in April and mum last month. I lost them within 6 months of each other almost to the day, Dad on September 21st and Mum on March 19th, which the year I lost her was actually Mothering Sunday. It was 2006 and 2007 when I lost them but it still seems only yesterday. You lost your mum way too young, mum and dad were both 85 when they passed. We never forget their birthdays do we no matter how long we've been without them and I'm sure your mum's spirit knows and is smiling at the flowers.
