Heartfelt Thanks

Hello crafters!  Today's card was a demo on my last Hochanda shows, but in case you didn't see it, I will take you through the steps to make it.  I cut the Swiss Background die out of wisteria card.  I added a black card backing to it and cut away the two longer sides to use as borders here.  I embossed a piece of coconut white card using the Dot Matrix Pinpoint embossing folder and added the borders to the edge with mounting foam.  I added that piece to a larger piece of coconut white card, leaving a clean unembossed edge on the outside of the borders.  For the focal element, I cut the outer die in the Geneva set out of wisteria card.  I cut the inside die from the set out of black card and glued the outer piece to it.  I added mounting foam to the centre of the die cut and around the edges where the wisteria cut was and added it to the centre of the card.  I cut a Bern die out of white and glued it horizontally across the centre. I stamped my sentiment in black and created a small wisteria and black frame for it.  I added a hint of sparkle by using Diamond Snow on the thin white frame which surrounds the sentiment.  I completed the card with white, wisteria and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/4" x  8" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Elaine, you are having a.poor time at the moment, hope you are feeling better today.. I'm happy to hear that Andrew is doing well too.
Tina T, it's good to hear Peter is more comfortable and settled. It is such a worry waiting for results and treatments to start.
Tina and Mick, big hugs, miss you and hope you are coping okay.
Laine, yes I'm definitely a morning bird, always wake about 4 ish but haven't yet resorted to Nana naps as my daughter calls them, during the day. Yvonne, I can imagine a horde of Wilsonettes meeting together, lovely.
Hugs to all

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, a really lovely card, I must have missed this episode on Hochanda, I don't think I have all the dies you have used but I certainly like the borders, the wisteria colour card and the embossing folder (yes got that one), anyway you are a winner with me on this one.

Tina T - Hope Peter continues to progress, it is always easier once they take the catheter out, then once the kidney drain comes out he will feel even better still, how is he coping with this hot weather.

Tracy - I can imagine the red hair, it still seems all the range, but silver white does it for me now.

Elaine and Yvonne, shame we could not have met up at Ally Pall as I will be going on the Saturday, I found that when I went on the Sunday they didn't have what I wanted, so try and get there early on Saturday, get the things on my list and then start searching for anything else I really, really need...............ha ha......and of course lots of chatting, and hugging, I love it.

Elaine and Andrew, Tina and Mick and anyone else who has been poorly, I am wishing you well.

I had a chill out day yesterday but did manage to update my spreadsheets of the dies I had recently purchased - this is the only way I can keep track of what I have got, I also cut out some Christmas items from silver mirri and put them in a bag ready to use, might do some more of that today unless I get distracted.

Have a great Bank Holiday Monday everyone.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

I ordered the rest of the New Zealand collection and am waiting for them to arrive, can't wait to try some of your samples with them Sue.
I have had a few days away, it rained a couple of days but really lovely spring like weather for the rest, it was so relaxing, now back to reality - and hopefully start some Christmas cards lol !!

Morning Sue. A lot of loveliness going on today, but all snuggle in so comfortably together. A beautiful start to our week, Heartfelt Thanks. Hope you noticed my reply yesterday 're the Get Well Soon stamp by Sam for CE. But I need to thank you for reminding ME that I actually have that collection lol. I just don't have the available space to keep every single stamp I've gathered over the years all in one place, but I just knew that I'd got a stamp by the company with that Sentiment, I dare say it's been put to bed now to retire, it's at least 3 years old I would guess, maybe you will find a sheet of those sentiment stamps snoozing in the corner of CE warehouse just waiting to be loved again lol.
Market was pants yesterday thanks to the bank holiday and holiday season in general, so the foot fall was minimal, but I still managed to sell so it wasn't a complete waste, although I didn't quite cover the cost of the table, those that did but we're happy so what the heck ☺
Hope you have an enjoyable day Sue whatever your plans maybe xxx

Just had a text from my daughter to say she has arrived back in Scotland. We put her on the overnight bus last night and after 12 hours she's arrived at Edinburgh then will travel back to Aberdeen with her friend in a couple of days. It's so far away and we won't see her until Christmas but she's loving uni and that's what counts. Yvonne perhaps you could suggest this as a form of travel as at least you would have a quiet time the next day!!!

Pixie powder are still sealed. Yesterday I had a low day and couldn't be bothered doing anything.
And today I've been out in garden reading my book and pottering around as its too nice to be indoors.

I also went into work to return my uniform as it was too wee for me due to my expanding waistline lol another is on its way from the depot so I have something that fits when I'm due to return. Have docs on wed so will see how things go X

Hi Sue
I remember your demo on Hochanda and of cvourse it meant that I had to order the Swiss Collection!!
Beautiful but it looks more like grey/silver in this picture. That said I think it would be equally gorgeous in many shades.
The outer edge of the Geneva die is gorgeous and adds such a wonderful finishing touch. Thanks Sue x
Well folks I have some fantastic news. George is back home. He came round yesterday afternoon and him and Jake had a long chat and it would appear that they have managed to sort out their differences. They were talking for ages. I wasn't with them but waited nervously wondering if it would be pistols at dawn or bare knuckle fighting!! Thankfully after an anxious wait on my part George came and told me that they had had a good heart to heart and he was moving back.
He didn't stay last night but came back this afternoon and I have to say the boys have been getting on famously. You would think that there had never been a problem.
I real!y hope that this 'glitch', albeit a rather big one, is a one off and harmony with the usual brother disagreements will be the order of the day x
I cannot tell you how delighted I am and it has been a lovely afternoon with the 3 of us together and the mood was just perfect.
It has been quite exhausting being so incredibly happy and in honour of the prodigal sons return I decided to buy myself a pressie to celebrate. I decided to treat myself to the rest of the colours in the range of pixie powders. Just call me Princess Pixie, lol x
I am really sorry folks but I will catch up on everyone's news tomorrow. Jokes aside I am really tired and am going to have a bath and then head off to bed.
I hope everyone has had a lovely day.
Loads of love to everyone
Take care
Happy thoughts
