Hi bloggers! Today's offering uses the Stained Glass/glitter technique. I started by cutting the Celtic Circle Background in white card. I glued it to a piece of acetate and turned it over to work from the back acetate side. I decided on my colour palette of black, white, red and silver glitter. Starting with the darkest colour first, I added glue to the areas where my black glitter was to go first. I covered the glue with the glitter and tapped off any excess, then went to the next colour, red, and did the same thing. The silver was the third colour that I applied and I finished with the white glitter. I set it aside to dry overnight. Once dry, I added a multi layered frame of white using the Double Stitched Square die set on the top with a wider black base. I added it with mounting foam. I cut a Pierced Flag die and seated the Get Well Soon sentiment on it, Using the Layered Carnation die set, I made a red scrunched flower and added it to the end of the flag die with white Fern Fronds as accents. White and black mats and layers completed the card. The finished dimensions are 7 3/4" x 7 3/4" in size. All for now. Sue x

Wonderful card Sue xx Hazel
Morning Sue, a really incredible card, love the design and the colours. Have a good day everyone. Bx
Good morning Sue
It’s another Wow card today. It’s so beautiful, the colours are gorgeous, do you remember we used to do this technique using peel offs? This way is so much prettier and easier. The pop of red really catches your eye, I love the carnation die and use it a lot.
Hugs x

Hi Sue, a beautiful card. Just the job to cheer a sick person. The red scrunched flower adds a pop of colour and tones with the lovely background really well.

Hi Sue. I've done one or two stained glass with glitter cards and I was surprised how beautiful the technique looked considering I'm pretty dumb at following written directions so your video tutorial was a godsend. I'm just imagining how gorgeous your sample is in real life, and I know it will look stunning. Thank you for sharing this beauty and hope you have a lovely day xxx
Beautiful card love the striking colours
Morning Sue.
Thank you a lovely card.
Take care and have fun Kitty.

Hello Sue
Stunning most try this technique. Have a good day everyone.
Good morning Sue,
A stunning card that would make a great unisex design that could suit any occasion. I may have to 'magpie' this idea for a birthday I have coming up. Thank you for the wonderful inspiration.x
Gorgeous card, could be used for many occasions.

Hello Sue,
A sophisticated looking card today. The color combination gives a dramatic look with a little flare created by the red carnation. I can imagine it really sparkles in person. Sure to perk up someone's mood if they have not been feeling well but it could really be used for any occasion.
Have a wonderful day.

Morning Sue, beautiful card, this would cheer anyone up if they were not well! Love Jean xxx
Hi Sue
Oh wow. What an absolute hum dinger! (That’s a good thing)! Such a stunning card.
From first glance this caught my eye and I was transfixed. The colours are just perfect and that Carnation is gorgeous. The Celtic Circle Background has been on my hit list for a while. It really is a fabulous die. But I so admire your perseverance Sue. I am a bit of a quick results type of a gal! I don’t think I would have the patience to even think about this technique. I always run into problems and a whole lot of mess when I attempt anything like this. A slow steady hand is required and I am just too keen to pass the finishing line. I have never contemplated scrap booking - far too long winded!
Is it wrong that so soon after receiving my longed for layering dies I am hankering after so many more - does that make me ungrateful? Problem is Sue you are just too talented. If you weren’t so good at designing the most incredibly fabulous dies I wouldn’t be in this situation. Goodness knows what kind of state I’ll be in when your 2019 Christmas Collection hits the ground running! Heaven help me.
Happy Tuesday everyone

Hello Sue,a showstopper card!!! Really would cheer anyone up xx
Good Morning Sue. Fabulous get well card. Also could be used for a man card with a different sentiment. It's amazing how many different looks you can get from one die. I don't have the Celtic circles but I have the squares.. and I have done all sorts of things with them...all thanks to you Sue for showing us how versatile your dies are. A little cut and snip and its something entirely different. Great sample this morning. Thankyou. Sending hugs and best wishes to everyone. Kind regards Ann Toppcards Leeds.

Hi Sue,
I love the Stained glass/ glitter technique.
Thank you for sharing.

An impressive design. I feel sure this card is so much more sparkly than what the photo shows. Doing this glitter to glue as a stain glass is for me a challenging endeavor. You do it so well. Your carnation is the best paper carnation that I have yet to see. Good job! Thanks for sharing.
Hi Sue and lovely wilsonettes x
Fabulous card Sue x I love the colours you have used and makes the Celtic die look completely different x the carnation is absolutely beautiful x thankyou Sue x

Love the background of this card Sue, very well done! Love your paper carnation.
I like your background Sue. I tried using this glitter technique a while ago but ended up with multi colours in most areas. Probably down to my impatience so now I do one colour at a time and let it dry before adding a different one. Hence, it takes forever so it's something I don't do often.
Lovely card. Hugs xx Pauline
Hi Sue, did you post this card just for me? I am sorry I did not comment yesterday, I have been struck down out of the blue with a horrible cold and could not concentrate on anything but I love your gorgeous mermaid card she really does look as though she is swimming through the reeds. I always love your stained glass cards and today's is no exception. I really like the combination of colours and the carnation is beautiful.
Frances
Beautiful card.I love the Stained glass/ glitter technique. I have to try it.

Hi Sue,
this is exquisite, I love it. Must have a go sometime... In the meantime I'm admiring your creation..

Beautiful Sue. I've never tried this technique but must try sometime as it looks so gorgeous. xx
Hi Sue. WOW !!! This card is gorgeous today !!! I really love the beautiful colours of glitter that you have used on to acetate. I have not done this technique for a while. I just have to do this now for my next card !!! I love your Celtic Circle background die. I really love both of your Celtic backgrounds and at some point I hope to get myself at least one of them. I have the Carnation flower dies and they are really beautiful. Your scrunched flower looks gorgeous. I must try this one myself. Thanks for sharing your gorgeous card today Sue. X X X
Just to say that I absolutely LOVE yesterday's amazing Mermaid card Sue. I love the colour combo you used and the dies are so very cute !!! The Mermaid is beautiful and I love how you crafted her, and her tail too !!! The layout of your card is fab. Thank you for more fantastic inspiration Sue. Lots of love to you from Tres X X X.
Hello Sue and all
Well I will have another try, wrote my post and when I attempted to publish Google put up another screen changing everything again and I lost the whole thing. Here goes !
Really love this card, I have so far resisted the Celtic dies (you have to put a limit somewhere unfortunately), but am sorely tempted by both your circle and square backgrounds, they are so versatile. The colours are great and I could also see teals, blues mmm, really tempted now
Hugs
