Best Friend

Good Sunday morning all!  It's another Celtic die today, this time it's the Celtic Square Background.  I started by making a piece of pixie powder background.  I used Purple Violet, Lava Red and Burnt Orange pixie powders on a piece of coconut white card and spritzed it with water.  Once dry, I cut the Celtic Square Background in white and glued it to the pixie powder background.  I cut the background into three strips and added mounting foam to the backs of each of them.  I added the strips to another piece of white card with small gaps between them.  Next I cut the Best Friend sentiment out of a leftover piece of the pixie powdered background.  I seated it on a Pierced Flag die across the background.  Using the Layered Carnations, I made a white flower and added it to the end of the sentiment strip.  I accented it with white leaves and Fern Fronds in white.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/4" x  7 1/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Morning Sue. Stunning Sunday sample with an explosion of colours behind your Celtic background another Sue Wilson spectacle, it's really beautiful. So, stupid numpty me didn't realise it was AP weekend, I've heard you say lots of times how much you enjoy this weekend, so I hope that you are loving putting new names from the blog to the happy smiling faces that surround your table, those that support you daily, and for those like myself that visiting AP is just a dream, by not being able to visit Sue & Co look how much we're saving ready for April launch lol. So have a Happy Sunday Sue, and those visiting AP today to see the CE team have a great day too xxx

I'm late as after Saturday I was shattered yesterday. However it was lovely to meet with you again Sue. I bought some of the lovely new "deep" embossing folders after seeing you using them. I had not realised how deep they really were.
This card is beautiful I love the triple effect and of course Pixie Powders are fantastic where ever they are used.
