Glittered Offset Card

Hi bloggers!  When you are using your square die sets you can get more mileage out of them by offsetting them in a diamond orientation.  If you add some beautiful glitter then you will have a real statement card your recipient will love!

Gorgeous card Sue.. Sentiment right back at you Sue and all bloggers. Love the flower arrangement and stick pins.
I'm so glad that many of you took the time to look at Seaham, Frances I wish I had seen the tv show that featured it. On a recent anniversary some of the forces personnel carried rocks up from the beach and laid them in a design around Tommy. They coloured them red and black like poppies to celebrate the battle of Ypres in Flanders. It was magnificent. It is a much loved memorial.
Elaine, I'm sorry for you watching John deteriorate this way. I hope they can do something to help him. Mind I have left my keys in my door a few times and the twins bring them in when they come in with that "Grandma" look on their faces. Hooe Andrew does well during his week at the caravan. It will do him good. What a cheek of the Council. Let them provide your walker if they can't alter the doorway, which I don't believe fir a second. Thst letter should be given to your MP, with all the ruckus about Council property safety, it needs looking at.
Went to see GP yesterday, she suggested going back into hospital but I don't want to. She has given me more meds, blood test taken and 3 week sick note fir work. I got a text yesterday from the manager dealing with it as my manager is on leave, saying she will ring me today. Aargh.
Happy day to all, hugs for our missing and poorly friends. Hope everyone is okay.

Good morning Sue. Gorgeous card, thanks for the reminder to look at using our dies in alternate orientations, and of course I love anything with glitter!
Pam,your bosses should not be texting or calling you. You have provided a doctor's certificate and they do not have a right to discuss or challenge it in any way. We were told that if someone was ill then even if you phone to say that you wish them well then it can be classed as harrassment. You need to get your daughter and union on the case and concentrate on yourself without worry. Hugs to all. Sue xxx

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, such a gorgeous card today and the sentiment says it all - I know who I would give this card too.

Pam I reiterate all you have said. Sorry for getting Tommy wrong yesterday, it must have been the picture on the screen who made me think he was a fisherman instead of a soldier - I would love to visit there at some stage. Don't you let this other Manager get to you when she rings today, and try not to worry about it, yes I know it is easier said than done, also do as CraftSueToo suggested and get your daughter to intervene - they are very naughty. Special hugs to you xx

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

Hi Sue
Loving the layers , dies , texture and pins , a really beautiful card .

Rosemary , what a hoot ,i hope the dogs get on better eventually .

Pam ,eeeks i hope your under manager is not going to keep harassing you , you have a Dr certificate and that should be enough.I hope you have a better day today hun.
Andrew was not too good last night ,it is day 5 today after treatment so hopefully he will feel better .
i took it upon myself to ask about the lady moving into the flat next door to me , yes she does need a motorised wheel chair to get about but her daughter is going to live with her so will be there to help her get in and out of the door .Also i was told if they were to alter the door it is far too expensive not only that every flat owner would have to have a different fob key and those are not cheap ,i was offered another flat in the new area again yesterday but they are ,small and only have a little window , i suffer with sad and could not see myself being comfy living over there. When i get time i will go to the village we have an information centre where they help and advise .I will echo you again Pam thank you ,
Sending hugs to all , poorly and missing friends .

Dear Sue and My Fellow Followers Of Sue,

This card looks like the world wasn't complete until it came into being. It's more than classic, it's inevitable. Like it would have to take a step down just to let itself be described by words. A superlative card.

Pam, you did a great job selling Seaham. I saw the WWI soldier and I could picture him surrounded by painted rocks. We have a couple of Lickety Splits ice cream places around here, too. But what I found most interesting is that Seaham is awash in sea glass. Wow! There's a beach like that in California, but it's against the law to take any.
The eclipse was kind of disappointing in my state, which saw the moon blocking only 63 percent of the sun. My sister was in totality in Tennessee. She said it was like sunset, and crickets started chirping, then sunrise two minutes later. In ours, you wouldn't even have known there was one, except for hundreds of people standing outside the Rhode Island Convention Center, looking up. There's a sensory symposium going on there this week, and they took a recess so everybody could view the eclipse. One lady from St. Louis let me look through her eclipse glasses. She missed totality at home to come to this symposium! Oh well, in 2024, we'll be closer to totality, with 90.1 percent of the sun covered. One area south of St. Louis that was in totality on Monday will also be in totality in 2024. The two paths make a big X, and that area is right at the hinge.
May everyone have the best Tuesday possible.
Love,
Donita

Pam - I can understand you not wanting to go back into hospital until absolutely necessary but please take care of yourself and I echo what others have said about the manager 'phoning you at home, it is just not good enough. I can visualise Tommy being surrounded by the red and black stones, what a lovely thing to do.
Elaine - I am so sorry for all that your family is going through, I hope you can get some help from the information centre.

Hi Sue,

Thank you for this beautiful and elegant card and also for the great video and the tips you shared with us. Each and every time when I watch your videos not only I learn something new, but also, I asked myself why I didn’t think about it before. I know why, because I don’t have your creativity level, experience, passion … as Donita said a few days ago you really found your calling. Not everybody can say this about themselves. For sure you enjoy every minute of what are you doing because I’ve just had a quick peek at the new collection … remarkable beautiful! Out of curiosity: do you ever eat, sleep, rest? I don’t think so. I am still recovering (including financial) after your last launch and you already have ready a whole new collection!!! I have to play lotto more often and more responsible, otherwise I won’t be able to buy all your dies and stamps ever. I cannot wait for the launch! I can predict that it will be a huge success!

Sam – Thank you for the tip and I reiterate all you have said about Sue’s new collection. You described it perfectly.
Pam - I agree with CraftySuetoo you should let your daughter to deal with your managers. Your job is to get better. You don’t need more stress. Take care.
Elaine – They always offer what it is easy for them to do, or the cheapest solution. It doesn’t mean that you have to accept it if you don’t feel comfortable. Hope somebody from the information center will be willing to help you. Also, hope Andrew had a better day.

Hugs to all that may need one and to those who would like one.
Still a newbie to Craft / not longer the newest, or the only Canadian Wilsonette

Well I have been missing for quite some time because I have turned into a nocturnal insomniac! My sleep pattern is so screwed up at the moment. I am not getting much sleep at all but the few hours I am managing to achieve are during the day as opposed to during the hours of darkness. I have been completely overwhelmed by the usual fatigue and fybromyalgia which has rendered me worse than useless.
I managed to get a couple of hours sleep early evening and I am feeling slightly less like a zombie than I have done for a while so here I am x
Pam - Laine had told me that you had been poorly and ended up in hospital - you don't do things by halves do you? I would say I can't believe that work have been pestering you but I am not surprised at all! Let your daughter give them a talking to. Hang in there my friend. Hugs x
Elaine - I had hoped that the 'issues' would have been sorted in the time I have not been here but sounds like your patience is really being put to the test. I hope you manage to get some helpful information. Hope Andrew and Helen have a lovely time at the caravan. Let's keep everything crossed that Johns appointment will give you both something to make life a little easier. Try to stay positive if you can. Hugs x
Donita - I saw the eclipse on TV and it really did look spectacular. Sorry it was so underwhelming. Never mind - Sue has a new launch soon - that will make up for the disappointment and anti climax of the eclipse x
Well I am hoping that I will be back to commenting daily. I will finish by seeing happy thoughts and lots of love to everyone especially my blog besties x
Take care

Good morning all. I love everything about this card, it is absolutely stunning.
I'm still a relative newbie to blogging and also to card making I guess and when I was a complete novice I purchased so much glitter on e--bay that I have a boxfull and don't know one from the other. Most of them are not labelled so do you think I should dump them?
I was having a bad day on Monday as it was the 14th anniversary of my Son's death. He was 44 at the time. Then in the afternoon my house sold (subject to contract) I don't want to bore you with the details.well, I'd like to, but I wont.
Pam, do please put yourself first for a while or you are going to be more sick than ever.

Hugs to all.
