Rosemary, I'm so sorry about your uncle , it has been a lot fir you to carry lately but stay strong my friend, thinking if you.
Denise, Max is a lovely strong name and is suitable for all ages. His name will grow with him. Enjoy your grandma cuddles they are the best.
Elaine, you must be worried about Mary, I hope she is feeling better soon, you be careful too, you have been through a lot.

Have a lovely day everyone.
Hugs to all, thinking of our poorly and missing friends.
Morning Sue.
A beautiful card Thank you.
Take care and have fun Kitty.
Beautiful card, I have lots of alcohol inks but only use them occasionally, this is tempting me back xx
Morning Sue. Striking. Today's card is striking. The way your colour choice of inks enhances the subject of the stained glass is absolutely amazing and I look forward to watching your video when I can concentrate on a little while.
Not only was the trip to the Inner Farne Islands out of this world, the 'skipper' of the vessel I went on followed 2 pods of bottle nosed dolphins, what a fantastic sight, especially when a calf appeared alongside mummy dolphin ☺ a day I shall remember for a lifetime - wow.
The day is starting which means its getting closer to enjoying your tutorial. So I'll pass on my love n hugs to you and wish you a happy day from Rock xxx
Hello Sue, love this card, very striking colours. My stained glass dies are my current favourites. Off to watch the video, and get some inspiration to get my alcohol inks out for a change. Have a great day all. Bx
Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, I am so looking forward to seeing this video, I must admit I do struggle with these inks and I really want to get the lovely stained glass look to my cards, so hopefully I can achieve this.
Pam I reiterate all you have said above, special hugs to you my friend.
Stephanie what a wonderful sight to see, 2 pods of bottle nosed dolphins and one of them with babies, a lifetimes memories there.
Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

Great big congratulations to Denise for becoming a grandmother, and to Sharon for coming through surgery with flying colors and CraftySueToo for making it to your last day and Stephanie for surviving the boat ride and seeing the baby dolphin. That must have been adorable!
Rosemary, it sounds like your uncle was very dear. I hope you enjoy communing with others who knew him so you can hear their stories.

Morning Sue
A very beautiful card
Love these dies as well as alcohol inks
June x
its grogeous!
Morning Sue
Bright and beautiful. Such an effective technique which I have never tried but do love the effect that it gives x
Been 'away' for a while. Managed to give myself an eye infection!! Knocked an open tub of fine glitter onto my head which then went into my eyes - result badly scratched and infected eyes - glitter is dangerous so beware!!!
Then to put the icing on the cake I got an ear infection which made staying vertical rather tricky. Bit like an incredibly successful night out in Newcastle in my younger day but a lot more painful!
I am still struggling to watch TV or look at this screen for long so will be brief for the foreseeable. I confess I am so out of the loop with your news as have been unable to even look at my tablet and Particraft for the last few weeks x
Am hoping to catch up with Laine this evening. We have both had genuine excuses not to have anything to do with each other and Maureen has been stalking me by text so I expect I will have to suffer a conversation with her as well! x
Sending very happy thoughts and lots of love to everyone especially my lovely blog besties x
Take care
Crafty hugs
So glad to be back

Hi Sue, a gorgeous card and I love the bonsai tree die. The colours you have chosen are just right for this scene, really rich and vibrant. I like playing with my alcohol inks but haven't done so for quite a while, thanks for showing me how good they are as a stained glass background.
Stephanie - I am so jealous of your dolphin sighting, a lovely memory for you.
CraftySue - today may be the last day at your current job and you are bound to feel emotional but remember that 'tomorrow is another day' that will bring both new challenges and opportunities.

A beautiful card, alcohol inks give a really lovely background to your stained glass dies.
Thanks for sharing
Heather
Hello Sue
This is not a technique that have tried yet but it does give a beautiful result.
Pam thanks for keeping us all up to date with everyone's news have I missed you getting your prescription sorted.Elaine no wonder you are exhausted with so many relying on you take care.Rosemary we must have been writing at the same time yesterday so I missed the news about your uncle life can be so cruel.
A wonderful look using the alcohol inks for the stain glass dies. I have not tried the alcohol inks yet on the Hummingbird Stain Glass die of yours that I have now. I have, however, filled in each area of the Hummingbird one with silk glitter on acetate using double sticky sheet. It looked lovely. I sent it to family in France as a wedding anniversary card. They were amazed at the beauty.
I adore this card and have duplicated it (more or less) after watching the You Tube video. I have always loved alcohol inks plus the stained glass dies are perfect with these backgrounds. I have also used the Bonsai die with water color paints and was very pleased with that look.
Everyone, hope your week is going well.

Hi Sue. I agree with you that alcohol inks can often be forgotten. I bought some at a fair a few years ago, put them in a drawer unopened and just remembered them. That is lucky because I have to agree that they work really well with the stained glass dies.

Hello Sue,
I have never really got on very well with alcohol inks! We go back a long way too !! You haven't made me want to try again as any I have are going to Maureen who is a wizard with paint and ink! I really admire what you have done but , unlike me really, I will give it a miss!
So many things I enjoy doing.
Yvonne - lovely to see you! So sorry about your eye! Glitter can be very sharp and things could have been a lot worse I guess. Bad enough though!! Hope you catch up with Laine soon. Love to both of you.
Love to all, sorry I'm late been chatting on the phone!
