Still A Few More

Hello my crafty friends!  For the third Monday in a row (and final one too), here are several more of the Candy Machine samples that I made.  I do apologise for the appearance of the Christmas and New Years samples so early, but I really wanted to show that there are just so many fun themes that can be put together with this die set!  I kind of got on a roll with these and really had a blast matching the candy to the colour combos and putting the different themes together!  There were several more that I made but I never took any pictures of them (or at least not that I have come across) including a sporting themed sample and several with just different colour combinations.  I never did get around to doing a Halloween themed card, but how cute would that have been with orange and black candies!  I hope you have enjoyed some of these and that they may have even inspired you to create a few different themed projects of your own.  I would love to hear about them!  Please tell me about them in your comments!  All for now, Sue x

gorgeous cards Sue, as all of your cards always are. Love them, such happy cards.
Rosemary, hope all goes well with your little pooch's operation. I'm so sorry that you are struggling with so much at the moment. This us a great caring community on the blog, we all try to support each other through these times, one never knows when it will be you that needs help.
Saba, enjoy your few days with your grandson, they grow up so quickly, can't believe mine are 20, 15 and the twins are 13. Where has the time gone.
Maureen, your humour has never diminished but poor George sounds on the edge, leave him alone. Not sure your physio will survive your first session, lol.
June, are you supposed to see the floor???? My craft storage room is full to the gunnels, maybe I should used the big bedroom instead.
Elaine, I was happy to read that Andrew and Helen were both feeling better, what a relief for you too.
Laine, PP, Lorraine, missing you, hope you are all well. Hugs to all, especially our missing and poorly friends, and George of course.

Morning Sue. WOW there must be a national shortage of gumball sweets in the UK and FL if these samples are to go buy. Your home must replicate the house of Hansel and Gretel if I have my fairy story right ?! We know who to go to for a sugar fix now lol. Goodness knows where you found those baby dummy sweets but how cute lol the new parents or new brother or sister would love those ☺
Unfortunately it's not a die I own, having no family apart from those you know of, and all the problems I have with really tricky bits it was decided that I'd be able to enjoy using a few other dies that when totalled up come to the price of the die plus the other bits n Bob's required to make up one gumball machine, but the one I've seen made up at my craft shop makes me wish I needed one ! I'll just enjoy looking at your samples and those that members on fb show, which have been adorable.
Hope you had a good weekend. Closing with my usual love n hugs for a lovely day xx

Dear Sue and Wilsonettes,

These are the most interesting so far, in my opinion.

Hard to pick a favorite, but I love how you cut Sweets for the Sweet out of colors to match those cute little flower-shaped candies. And The baby card is so darling with all the bits from the baby sets and the teeny pacifier candies.

I thought of another use for these cards. My cousin is a special ed teacher who works individually with students. She will challenge them to strive for a goal by offering a reward. Even a simple Happy Meal from McDonald's will inspire them to work for weeks. Or, for the whole class, a pizza party! Think how motivating one of these would be! I may have just talked myself into investing in the technology to make these.

About yesterday's card, a smaller version could be made using the Pacific Ocean tag (vertically) that resembles the Tahiti, and smaller flags. Now I need the graphite polish. I can see an order developing.

About craft room organizing: I keep all my SW dies in one box, filed on their sides and separated by dividers for the different categories. I keep them in their original packaging. When I open each die set, I cut off one side and nip the corner, then slide out the cardboard holding the dies. I pry off the dies and stick a piece of magnet to the cardboard, then replace the dies and put everything back in the plastic "case." I really need the name on the front so I know what I'm using and what category to file it in, and I really need the picture on the front so I can return the die to the proper set. Also, to see if any are missing. Sometimes, I'll take all the ovals from all the different sets and cut them all at once. The pictures really help me return the right oval to the right set. Or circle or hexagon, etc.

About floor storage: Why should the craft room be any different from the rest of the house?! Now, however, with the help of my decluttering angel, I can walk fully into each room. My craft room is like a galley kitchen, so I can slide along the path, and everything is within reach, front, back and one side. The table is actually a day bed, on which two large bins hold up a door at counter height. I keep my big Carl cutter and my Spellbinder Platinum on that work surface all the time, with scissors, wax paper, tool-in-one, tape and shims in easy reach. A wire shelf rack above the work surface and all the space on the bed below the door are available for storage, plus shelves behind me. I keep my 12 by 12 pads of scrapbook paper in a living room trunk or stacks in the dining room, where I also have the assembling and embellishing supplies in decorative boxes on the dining room table. The A4, or, in U.S., 8.5 by 11 sheets, I store on their sides in a lidded box that a case of card stock or copy paper comes in. Envelopes are in their own lidded boxes inside a larger lidded box to keep them dry.

My newer stamps are sorted by category into various containers on the day bed, and the old ones are in drawers scavenged from bureaus that people have put out by the roadside. Those drawers are stacked in the spare bedroom. No room for entertaining or house guests.

We'll be thinking about you, Rosemary. And everyone who needs support right now.

Love,
Donita

Fluffycat, oh my! You are honoured again, as are we with 'Viz' these last few days - but definitely a bit of a reprobate, all macho and swagger. Mine very wary. How is Pippin/Jay doing now?

Another echo for Pam.

Hello Sue,
These cards today are so sweet (yes, I do mean that pun!). They are fantastic and children, big and small, will really enjoy receiving them.
Pam how are you today, have you heard anything at work? Contrary to what Diane said, I did let George read your comments. He smiled and said "I see they all know what you are like". Whatever could he mean ha ha.
Donita, your organisational skills are stupendous. Galley craft room here I come, as soon as I can move without the blooming zimmer!!!
Elaine, good to read that things are well at the moment, long may it continue.
Rosemary, I hope all goes well today, thinking of you.
Theresa G, Happy Anniversary. On our first anniversary George bought me one red rose, the second anniversary two, and so on until we reached 6. No red roses appeared and I asked him why "They are too expensive now". And they say romance isn't dead ha ha. Have a lovely day.
Pat L, I'm looking forward meeting Tom (the physio) in the morning. I feel something understated and yet becoming like an off the shoulder evening gown, with tiara and elbow gloves should set the scene nicely ha ha. Can you imagine it, George would choke on his cup of tea!!!
PP and Laine, where are you, come in, your time is up.

Wonderful for any holiday or occasion: Fathers’ day, Halloween, etc. The recipient, a kid or just somebody young at heart, will be happy to get a card like this.

June, Donita – You, ladies, are very organized. Difficult task for me.
Saba - Enjoy these years with your grandson. Time flies.
Maureen – I suppose the physio is the one who needs a session, for sure not you. Be gentle, please. Please tell George, he is not the only one suffering :)
Rosemary P.- We'll be thinking about you.
Theresa G – Happy Anniversary!
Elaine – Hope you all have a good day. Sending my hugs to you.

Good afternoon Sue and the Wilsonettes,
I like the original bubblegum machines in their red and shiny silver, but that's for an era long gone when life was a lot simpler and less control by machines and electricity. I imagine that your candy machine has gone down a storm with our friends across the ocean. The gold and silver one would look great for a themed wedding as there seems to be more and more people having themed weddings from and about all different periods in time and various fun laden events. Thank you flower for another fun WOW out of the normal serious and stunning, stylish and chic, sometimes it's just nice to step back from that and have a wee bit fun and enjoy what you are making for that happy aspect.
Well i was so pleased to see lovely ladies that are in day after day being up there in our stage , enjoy lovely girls when you received your prize and Donita flower i know yours will take a wee bitty longer to come but enjoy it when it does. You can make your lovely dad up some more bits for his handmade cards that he sends out. Happy Anniversary Theresa, have a lovely day flower and enjoy, you deserve it.
I could get used to the alien thing in the sky, someone told me it was once called the sun but as we see it so rarely that when it comes it's like seeing a mirage in the desert, you can hardly believe it and for it to last nearly a fortnight, well who needs to go abroad when we can get a whole fortnights worth.
I have just had to switch of that stupid thing called an ebosser because it has stuck with my embossing folder halfway through, now i had just done exactly the same as i had for the other side and it went through perfectly well and yet now i can't get it to go forward or back, the dashed motor is just whirring away doing absolutely nothing. I'll need to call crafters companion tomorrow and see if they have any solutions as i am not saying to hubby, the last time he broke my GC completely. Oh well, i will just need to play with my wee baby blue, i just won't be able to cut out the bigger dies, talk about making your brain work, it's going to have a hard job in front of it.
Sending hugs to Elaine, her Andrew and Helen, Maureen - leave poor George alone, stop tormenting the poor soul and talking about poor souls, i hope that Tom is as able for you as you are for him, hee hee hee. Rosemary, i found some of the most wonderful people in the world because of coming into Sue's blog, i know others that decided to take that step and met up with some near to them, wonderful friends that make it a better place so i hope that you can find some close to your home that make life that wee bit happier and livelier for you. Either way the friends that you make in here have a wealth of kindness no matter where you live and makes each day worth getting up for and saying hello each day, so i'm glad that you took that first step and came in to see us all, welcome.
Pam flower i hope that you can have a good weekend, don't let those sods get you down which i know is very hard but hopefully (i have everything crossed here that i can flower) they will become human again instead of being robotic and actually think of you as a person and not just your staff number(i'm amazed that we didn't need to shout it out each day) just to keep their robotic minds going. sending you hugs flower, chin up lovely lady,
Love and crafty hugs

Only 6 but they had two evening concerts at school last week and I went on Friday and we got home at 8.30. She had been at school for 12 hours so no wonder she was tired. Was lovely to see her though. Echoing Pam today.

Hello Sue,
I'm sorry I didn't manage to get in yesterday! I loved the card though!
Today's are really lovely and bring a big smile to everyone's face I'm sure! Your sweets are amazing! There are many themes to use and sweets to explore! Thank you!
As I wasn't in yesterday I didn't congratulate the ladies who won! Congratulations all! Will you tell us what you win Donita? I don't know either! Maybe you have to sign a pact!
Maureen - my thoughts on Littlelamb exactly - she is a lovely lady but has encouraged me to spend soooo much money on craft goodies! I actually asked in the past if she was on commission!! Brenda - you know me!!! Hope we still friends!! Lol!
Saba - Maureen is a worry! Ladies we all need to be concerned about this poor innocent Physio!!! Hopefully George will keep Maureen in order - it isn't easy though! Tiara's !!!
Theresa - Happy Anniversary to you and your husband! I hope you have had a lovely day and been spoilt a little bit!
Pam - thank you once again for keeping us up to date even when we miss days. Will explain later!
June - I am in awe of your organisational skills! I try to be organised but spreadsheets and computer notes are a bridge too far ! Well done!
Love to all, especially the missing ones! Some recent and some from a while ago!
