You Are Too Kind

Hi crafters!  I prepared the background on this one first as it involved a bit of drying time.  I used the Crisscross mask on a piece of dusty pink card (from my stash) and put the Pink Blush Sparkle Texture Paste through the mask and set it aside to dry thoroughly.  Next I made a multi-layered frame using the Double Pierced Noble Circle die sets, both the original and the Set B.  I added mounting foam to the back and seated it over my textured background once dried.  I stamped my sentiment and added a pink and white frame over it using the Pacific Ocean Tag die set.  I cut the Stitched Flags in white to use behind it and across the circle frame before adding the sentiment.  I made several 3D flowers using the Classic Rose die set and sugared them with Iced Snow.  I seated them along the lower edge of the circle frame with Olive branches as accents.  I cut a larger piece of coconut white card and embossed it with the Brambled Rose embossing folder and used it as the overall background for my frame.  I completed the card with white and dusty pink mats and layers and flatback pearls.  The finished dimensions are 8" x  8" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Beautiful card, really lovely. You are too kind to us Sue.
Norah, I would have loved to have been in your team, there is nothing wrong with fun at Wirk, I find you get much more Wirk done and isn't that the point. You are a hoot, flower. Ladies, thank you for all your good wishes, I love my job and colleagues, it's just the management that spoil it all.
Sharon, welcome to the blog, you will find it very educational, Sue is a marvellous designer and demonstrator, the blog ladies are kind compassionate and very very friendly, and sone times a little mad, but we love each other.
Elaine, good news that Andrews treatment going ahead, let's hope the anti sickness meds do the trick. Fingers crossed.
Maureen, the mental picture if you, Elaine and Norah on your joy rides has me creased with laughter.
Well nothing was said at Work yesterday, they haven't even typed the notes up so still waiting. Had to see the Resoiratiry nurse yesterday, had X-ray, more meds, she is worried that my breathing has deteriorated a lot. She thinks the office shift around may have stirred up dust/bugs that I may have inhaled, she has noted it in my records, I have to tell them at Work if they pursue this I will take legal action, that will go down a storm but I am going to speak to the Health & Safety rep. Won't win Miss Popularity this year, lol.
Hugs to all, missing friends and poorly carers. Missing Laine and PP.
Sam have a tremendous holiday, you lucky girl.

Morning Sue. What a delightful sample. It's really clever and and first gives the illusion that you used a lattice die on the dusky pink background, it's not until you read your instructions do we learn it's the use of a mask and sparkle paste that's given it that look, how brilliant is that, and so neatly done too ☺ I can't imagin me doing that so perfectly first attempt !! It seems some time since we've seen your sugared rose on a sample, such a beautiful floral focal point to today's sample. All in all a real pretty delicate delight to help start our day, thank you for sharing this gorgeous work of art Sue. Sending love n hugs your way, enjoy this beautiful day (albeit probably from your craft room window) !! ☺ xxx

Gorgeous card today, Sue. Love the dusky pink, the sparkled background and flowers, the noble frames - well, all of it!
Pam, so still nothing resolved? - keep strong. Echoing you again.
Fluffycat, you'd think someone would be desperately searching for a poor wee 3-legged pussycat. Viz (renamed Yeti as he is abominable though I'm already very fond) fine, hissing and spitting and generally grumpy. Will have to release him soon so hoping he does calm down. Plentiful food might do the trick.
Hugs to all, especially missing ones.

Hi Sue
What a beautiful card loving it all .

Pam you must fight your corner regardless of being popular or not your work friends will support you i am sure , my youngest son has a similar problem the Dr told him he is not under any circumstances to go on the sanding at work { bits of dust fly everywhere } they always wear a mask but is it enough ? anyway all was ok for a couple of weeks then he was told he had to take his turn , he held his ground but is not popular with management or the work force as they rotate round on different jobs , so things are very uncomfortable for him at the moment .

Norah you do make me smile , they are hard work but they keep you fit if you can keep up haha. xxx

Rosemary , thank you for your message i hope you continue to be well.
Yes it is my son Andrew he had Major whipple surgery last June 1st ,he has had many set backs and my lovely blogging family have been rooting for him from the word go ,so many prayers ,messages and love sent to help him along , after 3 months treatment he was told all was good and it was shrinking , then just 6 weeks ago a new consultant told him he was on chemo indefinitly and is to have scans at 3 month intervals ,so this has floored us all , however we are hoping the next scan can give us more positive news .xxxx

Dragonsnap , did you get the Bag ? and maybe shoes to match xxxxx

Crewe Trish you and your brother are in my thoughts and prayers , take care xxx

Thank you all for Andrews good wishes

Hope you all have a lovely day

Good morning Sue and the Wilsonettes,
I love the creamy ivory roses on todays WOW Sue, but there again i always love seeing your 3 dimensional flowers on your cards that you make, they always make it look more than just a card but a gift. The dusky rose pink is a really nice accompiment to the ivory white of the rest of the card. Thank you flower for such a pretty WOW on such a beautiful day, i hope it is where you are as well.
What a beautiful day again today and i have enlisted the help of Uncle"Dodo" to push the swing back and forth as this Granny has jiggered both arms this morning so far just trying to push him high. The little midden likes the swing to go really high and if his grandpa seen him he would be having kittens. Health and Safety is all very well but its the worse certificate that my O.H. has because he is OTT with what the wee fella is allowed to do and not as the case maybe. It's lovely sitting listening, fair enough to Harry shouting at Rory high, high because he's not pushing the swing high enough to suit him, but it's still nice to hear him outside playing, having fun. Well 10minutes Uncle Dodo lasted on pushing duty before giving up so we are now playing in Tia's bed once more, oh boy is his dad in for a major flare up tonight when he picks him up from nursery as he is allergic to dogs. Tia always trys to nuzzle him into clapping her but he just doesn't take her on. Oh well i will get all her bedding washed and her babies while it is a nice day for them to dry for tonight. Why are children always such middens that they have to play in the soil, see what it tastes like, or decide to kiss santa balls that are the dogs toys and that have been lying outside for long enough? Crikey my grandson should have a good immune system with all the things that he gets up to and does, oh well next disaster awaiting eagerly(not).
Oh how i wish you could see the cotton wool fluff that we have for clouds today against a baby blue sky, it such a pretty scene. My hills although clear they are not as vivid like they were the other day, which is strange to say living in such close proximity to them as i do, but they have a softer look today. When the ratbags were burning the heathers and bracken on them the other day, they have managed to take away the image of my monkey playing the balalyka or banjo that was there all last year. I always find it amazing the images that the hills throw up at us and how they change as we go through the year. Oh well back to dealing with his little lordship, sending hugs to all my lovely Wilsonettes that need, could do with or just would like some, they are yours for the taking. I hope all our missing friends are getting better days as they could do with the break,
love and crafty hugs
Norah (glenochil)

Hello Sue,
Gorgeous, lush, sparkly and all the other descriptions I can think of apply to this card today. The flowers are beautiful a well. Thank you.
Pam, I do hope your breathing improves and that they don't take forever to advise you what's been decided. If they haven't even written up the notes yet, it's obviously not a major concern to them. If it's any consolation you would win the Miss Popularity Contest on here.
Elaine, I'll keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. As for the zimmers, we could decorate them, tie them together and go down the Cresta Ski Run ha ha. Can you imagine!!!
'P' poor Yeti, it's a good job you love him.
Norah, don't you go tiring yourself out looking after Harry. I hope your hills are soon back to their glorious colours.
Laine, I hope you are well.
George has been ironing and hoovering this morning (yippee) and has put out everything I need on the patio, so I am going out there now for some Vit D. I wonder if I can make this fractured hip lark last until Christmas, I'm sure at some stage the Doctor said that I had to do nothing for the rest of the year ha ha!!!!

Hello Sue,

Trouble is - all your floral Dies are gorgeous! I know because I've bought most of them!! I'd really like the Circle Dies but you kept introducing others!!! The circles would work well with my mainly Square cards!
Thank you Sue! Love this one!
NORAH - please - you know Maureen - don't encourage her to become Zimmers answer to Formula 1 !!! You are bad enough on your own without Maureen alongside you!! Sorry Harry has been tiring you out! You still love him to bits though! As for Flower! I love being called Flower by you! To others I'd be a weed! Some folk have no sense of humour! Have you bought the shoes yet? Ha ya!
Maureen - behave - George is a Saint - but we all knew that! I'm making no mention of dragons!
Diane - have a busy but productive day! Your daughter is on her way! Hope Auntie helps!
Pam - you are still waiting! At least you know you are really appreciated here! ! Indispensable comes to mind! One more day until the weekend!
Now I'm sorry I've lost track of all the cat goings on! I'm easily confused! Careful Saba!! Hope it all works out!
Sharon - I think I've missed you somewhere along the line - sorry! Welcome!
Love to all, Laine I'm concerned about you -hope you ok! X
