Good morning Sue and all, such a lovely card. Hope you have a restful weekend.
Congratulations to our lucky winner Lynn
Elaine, hope Johm got good news at opticians, sight is so important. Hope you and family have a good weekend.
Dragonsnap, enjoy the wedding, I bet your flowers are fabulous.
Yvonne, you are like Dick Emery, naughty but we like you. You did give us a chuckle. Wish Jake a Hapoy Birthday please, hope he has a lovely day.
Maureen, think you had better stay well clear of Newcastle centre at the moment, we want you well again.
Rosemary, don't stress about the food for your visitors, they are coming to see you and will probably like to try something new, Fish and chops was once suggested, excellent idea. My American family love that when they come. Enjoy your time with them.
Norah you are so right,, they talk the talk about employee rights but they definitely don't walk the walk. Think my meeting may be Minday as they have to act quickly on this form. My HO chatted to me yesterday, she is very concerned, she says she will try to sort it out.
Hugs to all, especially our poorly and missing friends, we haven't forgotten you, would love to hear from you.

Morning Sue. We all know that you are our ONE IN A MILLION.
What a beautiful card sample to start out weekend. The bling sure does bling you can see how it must really sparkle in real life. Talking of sparkle, I know if one person that will have a dazzling sparkle all over her face all day long - that's YOU LYN, many congratulations on your Wednesday win, soak it up and enjoy your beautiful gift x
Once the bungalow is free from pathetic dog singing pleading to go squirrel hunting I shall look forward to watching your tutorial, to watch you put these samples together, showing us how to mix and match your collections is a real joy, there are some amazing cards on a couple of Facebook groups that have used your background die, absolutely stunning workmanship and talent which amazes me, hope you've managed to track them down although one has only just been created. So things are starting to move here and it's getting closer to me watching this amazing inspiration from you.
So my usual love n hugs will end today's post and hope you have a lovely day xxx

Gorgeous card as usual today Sue. I love how versatile all your dies are. So much thought goes into them even down to things like your squares, rectangles, circles etc, where there is a set A and set B with each set being a slightly different colour. Amazing.
Congratulations to the lucky winner of the card giveaway.
Pam it's Pat doing the wedding flowers. I'm definitely not talented enough for that. I am going on holiday today though so my comments may be a bit hit and miss over the next two weeks. Back by 6th June.
Thoughts and prayers to all.

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, I so love this card and the Atlantic die, it is one of my most go to dies, have even made this one that you did in the video - which by the way is brilliant, very clever.

Sue a little birdie has said that your Christmas 2017 release will be in a couple of weeks............looking forward to this.

Pam, hope all goes well for you on Monday, was thinking of you all day yesterday and worried, now got another few more days before we find out what they are going to do. xx

I reiterate everything that Pam has said, including the fish and chips for overseas visitors, but has to be eaten out of newspaper with lots of salt and vinegar, yummy.

Hello Sue,
I love today's fabulous card, it's so beautiful.
Pam, I'll be thinking of you on Monday and hope all goes well.
Elaine, for a moment I got a shock when reading about the wedding. I thought you were referring to Pippa Middleton's!!! What exalted company you all keep ha ha. I hope Andrew and Helen have a great time, they deserve it. It's obviously down to money now on the cataract front. When I went I said that mam had to wait until they are ripe and didn't know if mine would be ready, but they told me that nowadays they do them at any time. I believe the RVI in Newcastle has one of the largest eye departments in the country.
PP, come off it. I've met you remember. 49 ha ha, who are you kidding!!! Happy Birthday Jake, your mother needs to have a memory test lol.
Laine, no wonder Yvonne was trying to kid us that you were older than you are, she obviously had a hard paper round and has tried to knock 10 years off her age!! You know I'm only telling it how it is ha ha,
Myra, you behave? As a group in the 60's once sang "That'll be the Day"!!
Dragonsnap2 have a good holiday.
Congratulations Lyn on winning the Wednesday card.
Love to all, especially those who are poorly or loney and their carers.

Such a beautiful card! Lots of high and low layers, too. It just dawned on me regarding this large card, 8 x 8 inches: you guys [a California saying] sure must have a very large mailbox to hold all these BIG cards. Your thin added black frame on top of your white frame, looks easier to do than what my fingers seem to accomplish with such a thin strip of card. Thanks for the video, always inspiring and a pleasure to watch.

Broadband trouble today, Sue, had a look earlier and everything had 'torn edges' including you lol!! Back to normal now - thanks for the video, nice card, especially like the frame effect.
Echoing Pam as ever (well, the bits she did get right!) Seriously, Pam, hope Monday gets things sorted at last.
PP- happy birthday to Jake enjoy your evening.
Rosemary - good old Brit food will be just what's wanted. On no account try to do Greek, they have it all the time and can do it better anyway!
Maureen, always have a laugh with you - yes, men!! Car almost 50 years waiting for refurb so help me.....
Pleased for Lyn on the card win.
Hugs to all.

Hello Sue,

Congratulations Lyn!
Crafty Jo! - I've been back and looked to see who the Biker was ! I'm sooo impressed! Was only on a motorbike once in my life -it was more than enough! Every credit - I was such a woos! My cousin's husband was very glad to get me off the back of his bike in one piece!! I was only 17 years old!!!
Laine - I knew you weren't really ninety! Your Mum would be breaking records if you were!
Happy Birthday Jake! It must have made your day to get all these good wishes from so many young ladies!!! Lol!

Good evening lovely Sue and her crafty crew!

A truly stunning card enhanced by the inclusion of a liberal dose of bling, the Atlantic background is beautiful and having a square die in my arsenal is so advantageous and proving really useful. Would it be forward of me to request that you do some more square dies? Thanks for another inspiring example of your many talents.
Well ladies, festivities over for another year, birthday cake eaten, balloons deflated, celebratory drinks imbibed, all that remains are the cards and beautiful flowers gotten for me by my brother...he bought lilies which, though gorgeous, are poisonous to cats so having to perch them on a sideboard that isnt big enough for them to jump up onto, Brodie has a penchant for eating foliage so we have to be super careful.
Had a relaxing Caci and cheeky blow dry yesterday to ease the pain of becoming another year older, without all this outside assistance i am sure i would look almost as old as Yvonne:-) No, I tell a lie, I have been blessed with good genes from my Mum, unfortunately this can be a source of envy for those who time has treated rather less kindly...I can see why you think Yvonne is lying about her age Maureen, she may appear to be from the baby boomer period after the war, closer to 70 than 50, but I am afraid she has simply been ravaged by time to such a degree that all of her claims to be less than 50 are met with disbelief and derision:-) You have had the unfortunate occasion of meeting with her so you can vouch for my assessment, I mean really, people in glass houses shouldn't really throw bricks now, should they? Hopefully she has learned her lesson and realises that she simply cannot compete with me in the looks department!
Myra, of course I will forgive you, I am nothing if not generous and understanding, besides, we are comrades in arms against the lies and tittle tattle bandied about by our inferior other halves:-)
Pam, all this talk of convertible sports cars has reminded me of my first, and only, car. It was a sporty 1970 Capri that was gifted to me by my Dad in 1990 and it had a hole in the floor on the drivers side where you could see through to the actual road! I never got my driving lessons though because I developed epilepsy so it was sold on before I could use it....it was probably a mobile death trap though so I dodged a bullet methinks:-) Really enjoying all the stories though. Your workplace really take the biscuit, it saddens me that you continue to be put through this stress, I hope Monday goes okay for you.
Elaine, it is ridiculous that you have to be virtually blind in some regions before steps are finally taken with cataracts, my Mum is having the same problem. Thanks for the birthday wishes, I'm glad Andrew and Helen are doing better, long may it continue:-)
Carmen, Canada seems an idyllic place to live but their shipping rules leave a lot to be desired, I do hope that they open more outlets more local to you for the sake of your poor pockets and sanity!
Yvonne, wish Jake a Happy Birthday for me, all the best people are born in May! Hope you enjoy your curry and having a night off from cooking, at your age it must be becoming more of a chore than a pleasure:-)
Hugs to all my besties and anyone ill or caring for someone sickxxx

This card is a perfect example of how versatile all your dies are and that they can be 'mixed and matched' with others. Gorgeous card x
I have not watched the video yet as it has been a busy day - Jake was bemused to hear that he was being wished Happy Birthday by so many 'strangers'. I think he may feel slightly apprehensive that he will have to tolerate you all coming to stay. I will have to reassure him that Laine truly is a one off so anyone else's visit would be a doddle. Lol x

Hi Sue,

All your cards are beautiful. This one is no exception. The Atlantic Background is gorgeous. Once again you showed how versatile all your dies are.Love those little flowers, are so cute. Thank you for the great video

Lynne L – The US store fixed the mistake, the weight of my order now shows 1.09lbs,a lot less than 20lbs! The bill should be reasonable now.
Myra – I knew you have a big heart. So kind of you to offer Laine's hospitality. Does she know?
Elaine – Thanks for the hug. Hope Andrew and Helen had a great time even the wedding wasn’t Pippa’s.:)
PP – I will move there in a blink of n eye IF: we'll find jobs and our child won’t have another 2 years till will graduate univ. Happy belated b-day for your son! When will you turn 50?
Laine – Believe it or not, anywhere in this world can be an idyllic place to live if you have money and all your loved ones are closed by. It‘s not the case here. On the other hand, it is in our human nature to think that what somebody else has it is better than what you have :)

We spent all day outside. Water levels on Lake Ontario were at their highest this week. Some portions of the road are still covered by the water. We visited new places by the lake. It was a sunny day but windy, really windy in some area. Everything is green now. I am constantly amazed at nature’s ability for regeneration, lots of flowers and birds everywhere. I saw even a deer today, very closed to the road. Everything is a little late this year, owing to the frost, but the sunshine and warm temperatures we are currently enjoying are helping things along. Finally the spring is here!

Have a great weekend or long weekend (we celebrate on Monday Victoria Day so we have a long weekend)
Still a newbie to Craft / Not longer the newest, or the only Canadian Wilsonette
