Moroccan Rose and Striplet

Hi crafters!  Today's video uses one of the Stamp To Die For range that matches the Bermuda die set.  It will show you how to create dimension by layering up your sentiment.

The finished dimensions are 5 1/4" x  7 3/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Beautiful card Sue, really lovely. I hope you managed to have a relaxing time over the Bank Holuday.
Sharon, my fingers are well and truly crossed for you when you get your results today, huge hug for you.
Elaine, you and Maureen will be able to compare hubby notes and award points where necessary. I'm so glad Andrew and Helen are enjoying their break, so kind if their neighbour to help Andrew erect the awning.
Saba, I can imagine how exhausted you will be, I imagine your grandson us worn out by his whirlwind if a nanny too. Hope the log burner us working soon for you.
June, so much better for you to have a crafty companion with you, twice the fun.
Barbara, your poor leg, hope it heals up soon for you. Alison, you too, hope the knee healed well.
Kitty, whatever will we do without you, I hope the computer just keeps going. I have a three year old computer which I don't like so I go back to my old battered one each time.
Laine, thank you for updating us on Yvonne, hope you are all well.
Little lamb, your granddaughters are amazing, no wonder you are so proud.
I'm echoing Myra, we do miss our missing friends, wish you were all back. Hugs to all, take care all of our poorly friends and their carers.

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, a stunning card today, will watch the video later when hubby cooks my breakfast.

Pam I reiterate everything that you have said, and hope that the meds have kicked in for you and you are feeling better.

Maureen, oh you are a one, be careful and do as the medical people tell you, hope it is not too painful.

Got new conservatory furniture coming this morning, looking forward to that, then got to contact the doctors to see if my prescription for the diabetic meds has been signed off and I can go and collect from chemist, I am still waiting for this since last Wednesday.... just waiting for the dr. to authorise on line, why do these things take so long.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

Hi Sue and Wilsonettes,

Yes, this is so pretty! As Debra K so aptly expressed it, I, too, really like the sugared and non sugared stamping together. How many of us would have struggled to match the sugaring, too, when the raised section without glitter looks so much more raised and interesting.

And the flowers with a little edge of alcohol marker, spritzed and accordion-folded, who would have dreamed they'd come out so pretty!?!

My order from the April release finally arrived! In time for Mother's Day! Mother's Day in the U.S. is this Sunday. My mother isn't aware of anything, let alone a card, but my fiance's mom is so dear and always appreciates my best effort, even though I wish It could be more beautiful for her. Maybe I'll try today's flowers and striplets with perhaps the Samantha die as the focal element.

The ripples that radiate out from your pebble manage to go all around the world, getting magnified by all the people expressing love with your creativity. Thank you so much.

Love,
Donita

Izzy - setting up W10 no problem, it's just getting used to it once installed - to us, doesn't have the easy 'userability' of XP.

Hugs all round.

Thank you Sue.

Hi Sue,

Such a pretty card and perfectly showcases how useful your plain cutting edges are - and I know I've been banging on about that recently but that's one of the thoughtful additions to your die sets that makes them so versatile and so much more crafter-friendly than most of the other dies on the market...

Just got my Nasturtiums back from Sis so I shall be trying your scrunchy flowers!

P in Wales - thanks for the info, it's not actually setting up the new OS that bothers me it's whether my crafts CDs will be compatible - I have a couple that are invaluable, Serif for making my own background pps and another one with lots of fonts which I use for cobbling up my own personal sentiments and greetings and what's the betting that they won't play ball with Win10!...

Good afternoon Sue and the Wilsonettes,
I am keeping a promise i made to someone last week, so Myra you can't shout at me anymore. What a bonny card Sue but hey i like it when you have an overload of white but it's lovely with the little bit of colour in the topper as well. I like how you get your stamps for your dies made as it makes a nice change from die cut sentiments. Well you'll probably know that i don't have any of these ones but hey ho i have some others that i just need to get the stamps for the dies. Thank you Sue for a lovely bright and beautiful card.
Well the other 8 renegades brighten up my world no end last Tuesday, wednesday and Thursday, it's just a pity that it ended much too quickly once more. Now i did offer our knackered one a shot of the buggy but she decided against it's high speeds and wheelies in case she fell off and broke the other hip as well. I ask you, if she can do that to herself, what would she do to her enemies? Never mind October will come around and we can be the merry band of 9 once more, that's always assuming no one else decides to do any damage to themselves. Since coming back what nice weather we have been having, although my lovely hills are looking through a chiffon vale of mist which hopefully will keep certain friends of going up them today. Why someone decides at 72 to start hill climbing is beyond me but hey whatever makes you happy. I was at my dear old friends funeral today, i had done her hair for 30 years, but she was lost when her lovely Robert went 6 years ago and she unfortunately never got over it. I'm waiting to see who my 3rd is going to be as that's two morning in succession i have woken up to that awful news so i have everything crossed that it sticks at the two as i have another funeral on Thursday for another friend. I'm getting this feeling of being an unlucky charm here. Anyway i will say bye for now and hugs to all my lovely Wilsonette friends
Love and crafty

I have quite a few of your stamps but really do not use them in such a way that shows them off in such a stunning way. I will watch the video later to inspire me - not had time yet x
Well I have managed to get back on line after having another stint of no internet. I can honestly say that the first time round was frustrating but it was fine and I coped as best I could. When it happened again such a short time after the problem being sorted I was not a happy bunny!!
After a lengthy conversation with the Customer Service Department I managed to negotiate a hefty discount so it's not all bad!
I have friends who cannot live without access to the internet but my only genuine need for being online is our beloved Particraft.
I did feel sorry for the poor man who had the misfortune of listening to my outburst expressing my intentions of closing our account unless their gesture of goodwill was a generous one! I don't think he would have been quite so understanding if I had told him that the reason I was so upset was that I had no idea who had won Wednesday's card and needed to know if our Pam was still in first place as our top dog. Not having my daily dose of Sue and Wilsonette banter is a necessity as far as I am concerned x
I am popping to a friends shortly for a cuppa so will cut this short and catch up on the gossip in time for my comment tomorrow x
Sending happy thoughts and lots of love to everyone especially my blog besties x
Take care

Sorry ladies but I'm going to have to brief. My lights keep flickering on and off and I think the power is going to go any moment, the joys of living in a fairly remote village! I have a candle at the ready but as yet Internet and candle power are not compatible!
The workmen have been busy removing the old wood burning stove and radiators but my sitting room is a complete mess, no heating, no place to sit, no tv and to top it all a flying bird managed a direct hit down my new white trousers whilst having lunch in a beer garden today, goodness only knows what it had been eating!

Hi Sue

Absolutely gorgeous Sue. Loved the video too. Another few items added to my forever long list of dies and stamps.

Liked the idea of rubber stamping the design and matching up

Thanks for all your ideas.

Love Dorothy

I am sorry for the late comment, seems nothing but doctors, hospital
and being poked and prodded at the moment.

Sue this is really stunning, i love the die you have used on the sides and it gives such a beautiful look with that gorgeous stamp.
Absolutely love this and one of my favourites.
