Heartfelt Thanks

Hi bloggers!  Here is a  card that could be used for just about any occasion or any person.   I started by cutting the decorative die from the Rippled Striplet into a piece of coconut white card.  I cut it four times to create the background.  To give it a bit of dimension, I added mounting foam to the back and raised it and attached it over another piece of coconut white card.  I left a wide border around it so the foam had a place to go and added a bit more in the very centre where I knew it wouldn't show.  Next I cut the Olivia die twice, once in Blue Dusk card and once in black.  I offset the black die cut behind and attached the two to the centre of the card.  I stamped my sentiment and cut it out with a small pierced oval.  I inked the edges lightly with Stormy Sky distress ink and added it to the centre of the card.  I completed the card with white, black and blue dusk mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/2" x  7 1/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Gorgeous card Sue, you treat us every day to your sumptuous creations.
Donita, I'm so sorry that you are having such a rough time at the moment, you are a strong lady and you will come through this awful dark tunnel. We are here for you and send you lots of hugs and support.
Rosemary, you too have shown how you have come through that tunnel and you are doing so well, anither brave lady.
Elaine, hope Andrews appointment went well.
Pat thinking iofyou and your hubby.
Barbiepinkfairy, Alison, I'm full of admiration for you and your colleagues who worked tirelessly to look after the injured and their distraught families. Yours is a job that most if us can't do, I so glad that you can and do. I hope you also get some support as it must be draining fir you all.
Ian told us at Work yesterday that his 2 granddaughters were with their mum, they were in the foyer when it happened, Katherine knew straight away what had happened , grabbed the girls and ran out. Thankfully they were okay. A taxi driver offered to drive them home, when she said we live in Durham he said it was okay, however they were being picked up by her husband. Such kindness from the taxi drivers too. So much tragedy, it's devastating.
My hugs to all, saddened, poorly and missing friends.

Morning Sue. Heartfelt Thanks to you, without your knowledge of everything craft, your die designs and numerous other reasons to thank you for we wouldn't be enjoying the tools you give us to enjoy what we do. So not only is today's sample useful for many occasions, it's also a sentiment that returns to you.
WOW, an absolute beauty. I just love how you've showcased all these dies, each compliments each other. There are many reasons why I turn to your dies, but one of the main reasons is that this sample can be replicated in so many different colour combinations, and each card will look so different, that amazes me ☺
Anyway, My Manchester is so strong and I'm so proud. We will remember at 11am today 💔

Sending love n hugs your way Sue hope you have a lovely day and can find time to enjoy the lovely weather xx

Dear Sue,

Under the Ripple striplet background, it looks like diamond snow or some kind of glittery paper. Very clever how you left a wide border for the mounting foam and snuck a bit more under the sentiment!

I might be able to try this card!

Thank you for the caring thoughts and virtual hugs. I wasn't intending to play the violin for myself, so much as to observe that when a few things don't go my way, I fall apart and spiral into the ocean. Tuesday I could barely move. Wednesday was so much better. My fiancé and I arrived at this conclusion together, and no one did anything dastardly. Neither was willing to give up everything to move to the other's state. It's still sad, and I'll miss him and his family, whom I've seen more in the last 7.5 years than my own. It was pretty platonic, though, and I didn't have much hope of a wedding changing that.

I guess it's no surprise that we have a hero, barbiepinkfairy (Alison), amongst us. Thank you, Stephanie Cotterill, for letting us know that she was on duty at the hospital where the Manchester victims were brought. No surprise because this blog has so many remarkable people. Starting with Sue.

Love,
Donita

Hello, Sue. First of all, my condolences to all of your followers and the residents of Manchester and England. Our hearts in America are broken for you. It seems you are getting the brunt of evil these days but I'm afraid all of us will be exposed to it in the coming years. But today we have a lovely card to look at and try to replicate. Sue, I'm sure there's a person in Manchester that would love to get a card from you so I'm suggesting a raffle just for those followers. I don't think anyone else would mind, and it might help someone get through this terrible time. I don't know any of you, but I love you all, especially Sue. Myra from Florida

Good morning Sue and the Wilsonettes,
Oh how i do like this ripple striplet, it always looks so nice done as a backdrop to the focal point and today's masterpiece is no different. Its strange how the dusk blue looks darker because of the black repeater underneath, it gives it a whole new look to the blue. Thank you flower for bringing such a bonnie card to our viewing, i hope that it is gorgeous down where you are today, it was 23 degrees up here in central Scotland at 9am this morning.
