Stunning card Sue. Delicate and classy.
Congratulations to Lynne enjoy your gorgeous win.
June that was a lot of clips no wonder it was so sore. Like the song, Things can only get better but still take it slowly .
Elaine, happy news that Andrew was feeling a little better, hope the treatment went okay.
Tina, again happy news that Peters leg wasn't so swollen. He should soon be back to his old self.
Wendy, I hope yesterday wasn't too difficult for you, just look on this as day 1 of your new life.
Sharon and Betty, hope the recovery is going well.
Pat, your little Sarah is amazing, she deserved the whole Hamleys store, bless her. Let's hope they are able to overcome this nerve problem in her legs.
Chery, nice to see you back and that you have been having a great time. Love the idea of using Petes shirts for the grandchildrens cushion cases.
Tracey, don't worry about work, with your strength and determination you will soon be back in the swing of things, you are a star .
Daily hugs to all our poorly friends, our missing friends, Tina and Mick, still think about Melody and Molly, prayers for Emiky, and anyone who just needs a hug.

Mounting foam. Sticky sheet.

Good morning Sue. Well I've taken to using buzz words (see above) lol. I have meant to mention this in at least three comments and forgotten each time, so I can't forget to mention them now - can I ?? Firstly how wonderful is the new magic mounting foam, the easiest and cleanest 3d foam EVER. I know hundreds of us use that cheap shop for our foam (saves money to spend on MORE new collections) but as my mom use to say "nothing in cheapness" I spent more time cleaning sticky gunge off my fingers and scissors than I did making the card, but the CE foam is a must for my craft table now. Sticky sheet - how do you do it time after time, show after show, you get it spot on every time it's amazing (or a fluke) lol I can't tell you how many times I've either got it way off and had to cut it for future flowers or leaves or a smaller die, but to cover a sheet of square card by eye like that, well I hold my breath just in case but you never miss, I wonder if my eyes are wonky or out of line lol.
Anyway, it's sooo spooky and misty out there I bet Andy is terrified I hope the owl doesn't start booting lol poor chap can you imagin lol sorry I'm being cruel and finding some amusement out of his fear, ok I'll stop my imagination now and concentrate on my imagination of how great it would be to look at my dies and imagin how this pile of brown metal would turn out to look as pretty as your card today. Most of my day is taken up by guess work, I never think ok I'll use this and this and end up with this, I've never got a clue what I'm doing, in fact I was thinking of trying my pixie powders I bought weeks ago after the Wednesday giveaway card background from about 3 weeks ago and I thought I wish I'd got one of the team here just to hold my hand or guide me through, a bit like the scene in Ghost with the clay (not that I wish any of you to be ghosts) but I got a bit weary and my confidence went so I didn't try in the end after all.
I think what I'm trying to say is - how do you do it, so many new and different cards always so perfect and beautiful, today's is no exception it's gorgeous Sue.
Well I've just got the text to say they are on their way back so I'll thank you for being you and send a hug, and congratulate Lynne on winning your fantastic personal handmade gift.
Have a great day xxx

June Smith said...

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, such a pretty card today, will check out the video later, I have the snowflake die so it should give me some inspiration.

Congrats to Lynne

Although I didn't sleep much last night I was able to roll over on my side and for the first time it was not painful, so beginning to get there. I was up twice in the night, finally getting up about 3am, then went back to bed at 5:30 for an hour or so which really helped. Thank you to everyone for your good wishes. I had a few bad experiences with a certain nurse and the ambulance people (I will tell you another time) and as such have put in an official complaint to the hospital as I do not want anyone else to have to go through what I went through, apart from these my experience at Medway was brilliant (if you can call an operation brilliant ha ha). I started to put a couple of bits of craft together yesterday, just a little bit but enjoyed it.

To all of you who are going to the Glasgow show this weekend, have a wonderful time, you know of course that I am jealous ha ha!!

Stephanie you do make me laugh with your comments, I am also amazed when seeing Sue demo how she gets everything straight and in the right place, I think both you and I must have wonky eyes but we will get there.

Tina T, good news about Peter and going back into his shed, he will go from strength to strength.

Elaine, happy news that Andrew was feeling a little better, hope the treatment went okay. I do hope you feel better yourself soon, sending healing hugs xx

Wendy, I remember so well when I retired, it was surreal at first but you will soon get used to it and wonder how you did everything before.

Sharon, Betty, hope the recovery is going well.

Pat, special hugs to your little Sarah, I reiterate what Pam said..... she deserved the whole Hamley's store, bless her. Let's hope they are able to overcome this nerve problem in her legs.

Tracey, take one day at a time with work, you will get there....what is it they say on 'The Chase'.... Bradley just another day at the office..........enjoy xxx

Special hugs to everyone especially Tina and Mick, not heard from you in a while.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx
