Beautiful card, love it.
Congratulations to lucky Lusbeth
Thank you everyone for your kind thoughts, she was my friend then became my daughters aunt in law, so sad, she had been caring for her husband who is recovering from a bad heart attack.
Elaine, now that you know what you are dealing with, it should help, just take care. Hope Andrew is well.
Tina and Mick, Tina and Peter, hope all is going better for you.
Tracey, you are like a breath of fresh air, you do make me laugh, you must keep Graeme on his toes constantly.
Yvonne, a good nights sleep will do you the world of good.
Happy Bank Holiday everyone, whatever you do.

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, such a beautiful card today and as it is my birthday today I think this is very apt (I know you didn't do it especially for me though). I will be watching the video later, I have loads of cards to open first thing, after I have rung my twin sister Jean to say happy birthday to each other.

Pam, it is very hard I know but thinking about you and your loss.

My thoughts as always are with Tina and Mick, Tina T and Peter, Elaine and Andrew, Yvonne and of course Tracey, hugs to you all.

Congratulations to Lisbeth.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

Morning Sue.
What a bright, colourful, cheerful card to start the day with plus it's accompanied by one of your inspirational 'craft for dummies' tutorials (please don't take offence at this comment as I'm putting myself in this box) I'm absolutely useless when it comes to written instructions, the penny doesn't even leave its slot let alone drop until I see a project done in front of me, always been the same, so that is why I love the tutorial way of learning. I can have step by step pictures in front of me and still get fuddled, my brain needs to see it as it's put together and even then I hit the rewind a few times lol my poor dad use to spend hour after hour at my side going over and over fractions with me and still I couldn't get it lol I won't even start to tell you the problems my young brain had when we changed to decimal from pounds shillings and pence !!! Lol bless him.
So that is why I title your video tutorials in that way, plus it's just so lovely to sit and watch a professional enjoy her love of craft. Tomorrow is my first market since April so I need to get my act together today to make sure I remember everything - that's a task in itself, thank goodness I'm a list lover lol.
Many congratulations to Lisbeth, enjoy your special gift when it arrives.
Sending hugs, and hope you enjoy your day xxx

I love using the alcohol inks on my glass ornaments et al. It is far cheaper to buy the inks than pay an extortionate price for a glass bottle, vase etc., and you can colour scheme to match your room décor.
Gentle healing hugs and happy thoughts for those not so tickety boo today.

Many happy returns of the day to June Smith, I wish for you to receive extra special birthday gifts of love, laughter and friendship.

Morning Sue
Oh my oh my oh my. This has got to go to the top of many of my lists.
List 1 - bestest brightest card x
List 2 - bestest card this week x
List 3 - bestest shadow box card so far x
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this card. My favouritist dies in the world and you have show cased them to absolute perfection. No alcohol inks in my stash (yet), but I have an ingenious idea. Yipee - PIXIE POWDERS. Oh what fun I am going to have recreating different versions of this stunning card. It could take a while as I have gone mad playing with my pixies and have loads of backgrounds just screaming come play with us and the shadow boxes!!!
Yes I think you can rest assured that I quite like this card Sue x
Congratulations Lisbeth - lucky lady - hugs x
Less than 12 hours since I was commenting on yesterdays cards. Super impressive don't you think?
Pam - I am so sorry to hear about your friend. Always so sad when we lose anyone but when it is a friend our own immortality comes into focus. As I have said before life is so short and we just do not know if tomorrow will be a good or a bad day. I am sending you a big warm hug and hope that you can find some smiles and laughter in amongst the sad moments x
Tracy - I am so on your side hun - money is for spending and you can't take it with you. Now you have spent your hard cash on Pixie Powders you need to ensure that it is money well spent. Come on, you can do it. The gilding polishes are the next sparkly little suckers I have my eye on. I am expecting a report very soon on your first experience of embracing your inner pixie. Have a ball. Word of advice - start with a little - they go a very long way, and rubber gloves are a huge help when moving still wet backgrounds and clearing up. That may help the neat freak in you. Personally I think you should open them today and use them to make Graeme's brother in laws' card. Go on you know you want to! Hugs x
June - HAPPY BIRFDAY TOOOOO YOOOOO. A twin - oh my goodness double trouble! Have a fabulous day and I will look forward to hearing about how you decide to paint the town red. Big birthday hugs x
Val in Spain - you must open that packet. When you do and start playing you will wonder how you did without the shadow boxes. I love them and am so hoping there will be so many more variations to follow. They are at the top of my want/wish list before I even know if there are any more to come. Hugs x
Tina T - sending you love and hugs at this time of uncertainty x
Elaine - take it easy and rest up and I hope the antibiotics and cream give you some relief. Hope Andrews call goes well. Hugs x
Cheryl - time with friends and laughter is so important. Glad you had a lovely time. Hugs x
Lynda - I presume Tracy did not see many of your cards as she was probably distracted by the wonderful entertainment provided by the hunk in pants. Lol. Hugs x
Myra - another pixie partner - aren't they wonderful?
Laine - ticket booked. Need to get my bum into gear and sort out your naughty corner. Think it is going to be well used during your stay. Oh the fun and frolics we are going to participate in - energy permitting! Get your crafty muscles warmed. We have talked about all the crafting we are going to do - we'll see. It is 3 weekends to Ally Pally and our causing a riot. How exciting. Big hugs x
Off to try and cool down - still too warm for my liking. I think a strategically placed air conditioning unit to cool my crafty area may help me in my quest to play. Let you know x
Lots of love to everyone specially Maria, P, Wheely, Fluffy, Lorraine, Nanna Tina and anyone else who needs loving x
Take care
Happy thoughts
Bank holiday crafty hugs

Good afternoon lovely Sue and her crafty crew!

Ooooh, what a stunning card! Alcohol inks, that's a blast from my past, I haven't used them in years but you have given me a timely reminder as to just how effective they can be in making a card pop with magnificence. Yvonne has eulogised to me about the wonders of the shadow box and this card shows me that even she can't be wrong all the time:-)
The colours are stunning set against the coconut white, and the black frame finishes the card off to perfection.....I think that I must take my alcohol inks with me to London so that I can wean Yvonne off those pixie powders, she needs to see the glorious effects of other mediums too. In saying that, I am gradually becoming a convert, I used my £10 Hochanda birthday voucher to buy a set of said powders, some gorgeous card and mica powders so I will have absolutely no reason not to give them a try....just need to work out a plausible excuse for having spent £26 when I'm meant to be saving for Ally Pally, my Mum will not be pleased when the package arrives:-(, my reasoning is that I was going to buy them at Ally Pally anyway:-)
Yes, the trip is now official! I bought my air tickets yesterday.....having only travelled by air once thirteen years ago I was a virgin when it comes to buying tickets online. There is a plethora of sites offering what seems on the face of it fantastic deals comparable to the cost of getting the train to London. However, when I went to purchase a ticket I discovered that the cost didn't include baggage fees, which could be up to £70 each way!?!?! On top of the ticket price. I was getting rather stressed about the situation, fearing that I couldn't go due to the increased and unforeseen cost, I checked Thomas Cook and they wanted almost£300 which was out of my reach too:-( As a last resort I phoned BA and discovered that I could book through them and it would cost a much more affordable £143 incl baggage fee, it was a little more than I had originally budgeted for but I was satisfied.....meeting Sue is a dream and I am so excited that it's actually going to happen:-)
June, happy birthday to yooooou! Hope you have a fabulous day!
Elaine, I had suspicions that you may have had cellulitis, I had it two years ago and your symptoms sounded similar to mine:-( It may be sore at times and uncomfortable but a strong dose of antibiotics will help no end....just be careful that you keep moving though because I didn't and ended up with blood clots on my lungs. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
Steph, good luck with the market tomorrow, hope all goes well
Frances, whatever do you mean? Why on earth should the good citizens of Croydon have to prepare themselves for my visit?:-)
Myra, I am very concerned that you also seem to have the impression that I am a troublemaker when in reality you should be fearing for my safety and mental well being having to spend ten whole days with Yvonne!
Yvonne, now that we have firm plans I trust you will make suitable preparations for my visit, a naughty step simply won't cater to my many needs and expectations, a massive cheesecake and a vat of Eton Mess might though:-)
I have to question whether we actually will get any crafting done though, the way you blether on incessantly will leave no room for activities I'm guessing:-)
Cuddles to all my blog buddies, hope you are having a fab bank holiday weekend!
