Wednesday Weekly Card Giveaway

Hi bloggers!  A teal and white card for this week's giveaway.  You may recognise it as one of the demos from my shows in January.  I started by embossing a piece of coconut white card with the Bed of Roses embossing folder.  Next I cut two of the Ornate Octagon striplets in white using both of the dies in the set.  I cut a white backing for them using just the outer cutting edge.  On teal card, I very lightly embossed the design then used it to cut around the inner design for both of the dies.  I glued the teal behind the open cut out and then added the white backing piece.  I mounted them both on foam and placed them to the edges of the card.  For the focal element, I cut the Daisy Cluster die in white nine times.  I glued them together in three sets of two.  I cut the matching flower die in teal then glued them behind each of the three sets.  I added Cosmic lacquer to the teal flowers and allowed them to dry overnight.  I sprayed and glittered the last set of the Daisy Clusters and added them to the tops of each of the three sets.  I arranged them into a wreath shape, then added 3mm white pearls to the centres of each of the flowers.  Finally, I added  my stamped sentiment across the centre.  I completed the card with a pierce mat, a teal mat and a final white mat.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x  9 3/4" in size.  Leave a comment to be entered into the drawing to win this card.  I will draw a name and announce the winner on Saturday's blog post.  All for now, Sue x

Very pretty card today. The lacquer really sets off this card. My wish list for your dies is a mile long! Need to come out of retirement to support my habit "of purchasing Sue Wilson dies"! LOL
