Woven Lattice Frame

Hi bloggers!  Today's video shows you something fun you can do with the Lattice Window Striplet die set.  It has a centre section that can be cut separately and it gives you so much more versatility!

Don't forget to scroll down to the previous post to see if your name was drawn as one of the die winners.  You must email me to claim the die as well.  I am still waiting to hear from over half of the winners!

The finished dimensions are 7 3/4" x  7 3/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Hi Sue
My order is in for my dies. Congratulations winners! How nice it must be to win a die!
This card is such a resourceful way to use this die set. I will try it for a birthday as the weaving strips can be hard for fingers that don't work well these days.
Really lovely card.

Hi Sue. What another clever idea, I wish I could see what you see in your dies, I just know I'm not making the most of what I own. Talking of which, after being a winner of a die in a Christmas launch a couple of years ago, I remember not believing seeing my name on Sue's reveal post, so for those of you that are winner's - believe and enjoy.
I have this lattice window die on my list so one day I'd love to have a bash at something as beautiful as today's sample.

Knowing what trauma Andy and I have recently been through Sue,please please enjoy every wonderful second you can have with your mom. They are the reason we are here, they are the centre of our world, so embrace her with every beat of your heart.

I never had or felt that love from my mom but my MIL was my world.

Enjoy the warmth and loveliness that is Florida.

Morning Sue
Have you missed me? I have returned after my weeks absence to a fabulous card with the added bonus of my being able to recreate it's beauty as I am the proud owner of the dies you have used, not least the lattice window striplet which I won in the die launch before this one.
I have had a very quick look at the cards I missed from your launch and you have once again excelled in the art of creative genius and joy giving to us commoners!!!
Thank you so much x
I have been out of action due to some sort of flu like bug which has now left me incredibly fatigued and although now upright and downstairs in a reclining chair am still feeling completely 'zonked'.
Huge congratulations to all the worthy winners of the latest launch - you lucky lot. The excited shrieks that escaped from my lips when I won reached a volume previously unheard in Southern England. I have my suspicions that there was a few uncouth outbursts of joy when you winners discovered your name on the much anticipated lucky list x
Obviously the majority of you are honest, upright and genuinely worthy winners but I am wondering what you did LAINE to guarantee a place on the list. With me out of the way you were laughing weren't you? Me thinks that a voodoo doll and lots of pins could be your secret used in a fashion to secure yourself a higher chance of success - lol. Seriously - well done bestest blog buddy - how delighted are you on a scale of 1 - 10?
Well done to all of you - so lovely to see lots of regulars on the list - enjoy your prize.
I am off to rest now - happy Tuesday everyone. Lots of love and hugs to everyone with extra squeezes to those who are especially in need.
Crafty hugs

Hi sue and crafters.
Beautiful card today. Would never have thought of doing that.

Well ladies I think I might've mixed u up when I said chemo next ties I actually meant a week on tues. so to clear it up its not today but next tues.

Anyways they couldn't obtain blood from my picc line yesterday so was in hospital this morning from 9 30. I'm still here after having an X-ray it's apparent the lines moved so it's now been taken out. As I've only 2 more sessions to go of chemo they are going to try the cannula in my hand which I don't really want but don't want the grief of a new line going in which I need to goto Ayr hospital for.

But on a plus note I was so happy yesterday winning a die from our sue. I'm well chuffed.
Thanks for all the congrats and well wishes as usual.

Love to all plus hugs xxx

Good morning Sue and the Wilsonettes,
This is a gorgeous card Sue and a versatile card as it could be for any occasion or any one just by dressing it up or taking the bow off for our male cards. I don't have this die set as yet but it is on my want list. Have a wonderful time with your wee mum across in sunnier climbs and i wonder what you are working on now.
To all the winners congratulations and i hope that you thoroughly enjoy your new dies as much as i will. I couldn't believe that my name was up there amongst the winners but i would like to say thank you to Sue but also for all the people that have been so lovely about my very good fortune, i've stopped crying now. Tracey flower i think you won the best one of all and most appropriate one as you will be happy that your chemo is just about reached it's end. I hope that you are a wee bit better flower today and that you can see the end of that tunnel in sight. But i seen a good few of the lovely Wilsonettes regulars that have been on for a good few years, which makes me really happy to see their names up there as well. Enjoy your dies everyone.
Well where as Kirsten had rain in Tullibody literally a mile down the road from me and i had sun it was lovely to see that today. Have a good day everyone and i hope that your roads are not too bad after the winds that we have been having this past few days. Hugs to all the Wilsonettes that need them or could just do with them

Good evening dearest Sue and her lovely crew!

It somehow doesn't seem appropriate to comment on today's card after hearing of your dreadful loss but because you said that you would like to hang onto normality I will respect your wishes and continue to sing your praises to the high heavens in my usual borderline creepy way in the hope that you may find some comfort in the fact that so many people care about you, love you and appreciate you.
Today's card did remind me of the weaving dies that I love so much, this is a die that is going to be featured in my next purchase for sure. I haven't watched the video yet, as always, but I will enjoy seeing how you wove each piece so expertly. What would we do without you and your demos, it would be carnage:-)
I'm running way behind today, woke up for the third day in a row with a blinding migraine-nothing can be done but taking medication and resting till it eases it somewhat so I went back to bed till midday....can't help but feel guilty that another day is wasted, always feel oddly lazy and embarrassed at sleeping so late but as many of you know through experience, they can really incapacitate you in a way that other pains don't .
Anyway, I'm suitably drugged up now and the pain is mildly irritating just now rather than debilitating:-), so all is good. Besides, nothing can diminish the sheer unadulterated elation that I am still feeling following yesterday's draw- it has been intimated that I may have employed underhand, nay dirty, tactics to procure a die but I say to all you doubters that I am clearly Sues favourite and as such do not need to lower myself to such a desperate level:-)
Speaking of desperate, Yvonne my lovely, boy have I missed you on the blog, I've had nobody to bear the brunt of my acerbic wit and sarcasm:-( it has been a sadder, lonelier place without you my dear. I'm so sorry to hear that the flu floored you, my intention with the pins was to just give you a heavy cold for the duration of the launch...got to eliminate any disruptive forces you see:-)....not to render you completely incapacitated:-( I'll take the pins out now so that you can return to full health and attacking my good name and reputation.
I've had the flu once at 18 and it floored me for a fortnight so I'm sending you love and healing hugs to comfort you until you get your strength backxxxx
Tracy, what a shame about your picc line, cannulas are a real pain to keep in place, especially if you have to keep it in until the end of your treatment- I once had a nasty incident with one in hospital when I was having a shower, it looked like I'd chopped up a body in there afterwards, almost needed a transfusion!:-)hope you're well otherwisexx
Lorraine, hope all went well at the GPxxx
Jan, I'm great thanks, have you calmed down yet after your win yesterday:-)
Sending hugs to Beth, Deb C, Wheely Bad, Linda, Rebecca, melody, Maria , Theresa and anyone needing a cuddlexxx

Well well, this is certainly thinking out of the box. My imagination would never have developed to the point of using this die in such an unusual way. A four piece striplet certainly seems to offer all sorts of possibilities. Thank you for more incredible ideas.
