Criss-Cross Frame

Hi all!  Today's video card just shows you a different sort of idea that you can achieve using the Ornate Frame Just Because die set. It blends quite nicely with the configurations too.   It is always nice to see die sets in a new sort of light.  I hope the tutorial helps you with that!

The winner of this weeks Wednesday Card Giveaway is:

Wheely Bad!!!

Congratulations!  Please email me at americansue1@gmail.com to confirm your address and claim your card.

The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x  7 1/2" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Hi Sue, well you had me fooled. At first sight I thought you had taken two large dies, snipped & woven them together! The video soon showed me the right of it and you have created a beautiful card in a way I would never have thought of.

It was a beautifully bright and sunny morning today so as it has been dry for a few days I took the opportunity to do the first 'proper' gardening of the year. Cutting back ferns, clearing up leaves and a bit of weeding and sweeping took me two hours but I can see where I have been and can also see all the bulbs coming through. Here's hoping we get a decent summer this year.

Yay! Wheely Bad's a Wednesday Winner! Congratulations Wheely, I'm so pleased for you and hope that it helps you forget about those horrible migranes.

Good afternoon dear Sue and the Wilsonettes,
This is a beautiful card Sue and that wee bit different done in the milk and powder blue instead of white, it gives it a more softer look and not as cold as what the white does. This is a great card to try and could be for really male or female as it doesn't have all the sparkle of gem stones(pearls don't count as they are a need)or the frills of bows to contend with. Gorgeous flower so all i need now is the dies to make it with, lol.
Wheelybad i am so over the moon to see your name up there in lights this week as you are a worthy winner flower with such a big heart when you have so much going on yourself, enjoy flower and i hope that it inspires you more day by day.
Well it's all quiet here today but what a beautiful day it is with the sun shinning and my hills just dancing to enjoy it to the max. Although a tad cold it really doesn't matter when you can see such a happy day outside determined that it is coming nearer spring with every passing day. So what ever you are doing today i hope that it makes it a happy day for you, i am tending to a house of sick people, even poor Tia my lab is having a bad day so i will go and leave you all in peace with hugs to Tracey, Wheely and anyone else that could really do with some, but please feel free to take one even if you could just do with someone who is thinking about you today.
Love and crafty hugs

Love the look of this card. Thank you for the video, tips and techniques. You continue to amaze me with your perceptions of what one can "see" in their dies. I continue to shake my head in disbief that I can not see what you do. Please continue to show us crafters how we can get the most out of our dies. I am slowly coming around to a new "vision", but still need your help.

Beautiful, the milk and pale blue are the colours I want for my craft half a room, had the paint for 6 years and maybe it'll all be done by the time I've been here 10 years though it's a hope rather than an expectation lol! They look great on a card and go to love more die cut jiggery Pokery... It's a fabulous effect.

Yesterday was my neighbours funeral, I had lost a week somewhere so when Mr W reminded me Thursday tea time I had not allowed for it. She had a great turn out and it was lovely to meet her grandkids. Her son has had confirmation the tenancy will go to him, quite a relief for everyone. He didn't want to leave and most of the adaptations were done for him anyway so shifting him on would have been a false economy for the council. We're so pleased as we get on great... All of us on our little patch do so there was happiness on the day we knew she would have been pleased about. She left no wishes regarding flowers or donations so Mr and I are donating to local branch of a Cats charity as she loved Cats.

We had to go in town after to get my glasses repaired. As I'm still waiting for new tyres on my chair we had to take "the thing"- the chair the wheelchair service loaned us. Oh my, it's a monster! Heavy, made for someone who'd be about 5 stone heavier than me and it probably weighs that. We tried, pillows, cushions but I'm pretty battered and bruised today (we didn't even go far, the chair is *that* bad!). So pleased I only go out when I need too at the minute as Me W referred to it as "unsteerable"! Trying to tip it to get up kerbs or into the house is almost impossible. Glad we have a back up but it's not like my chair at all. I forgot how horrid some of them could be!

The migraine fairy has visited a couple of times since last night so I must stop there. Very early night for me tonight as between them and being out yesterday I'm pretty much finished- ate a lot of chocolate to get this far. Mr W went to watch rugby this afternoon and is out drinking so he got told he can stay at his. I love him but the snoring after the beer is too much to bear!

Sending a big hug to everyone and my stash of extra extra big hugs is open to everyone, whatever your need. I must say goodbye as I'm falling asleep as I sit here, sending trails of random letters off so no more! I shall hit that post button and sent it to you with hugs, happy thoughts and hopes that you all have a lovely weekend,

T x

Hi Sue.
Catching up. Today is my first market of the year as January was impossible both physically and mentally after the nightmare we were going through, so I've been 'adding' to and 'topping' up my baskets throughout this past week, and into today plus making sure I don't forget all my other usual bits n Bob's I take with - stamps, glue, ink plus die cuts with sentiments and verses etc. So before I start my Sunday and the house is quiet I had to catch up with today's card which is gorgeous, must watch video later with a hot coffee and feet up when I get back.

Wheeleybad well done, bet you feel wheeley-great now.
