Simply Elegant Striplet

Hi bloggers!  The title says it all for this one, it is a simply elegant striplet card.  The Floral Meadow striplet is pretty enough to carry an entire card, but I bet you never realised that you can make a frame for it with the outer cutting edge as well!  If you have some free time, watch the video to find out just how to do that!

Buy from Joanna Sheen

Finished dimensions are 7" x  8 1/2" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Good morning Sue and everyone. Love this striplet die, unfortunately I don't own it (yet). I'm saving the video for after work because if I watch it now I'll only want to look through things I have to see if I have anything I can use instead.
Barbiepinkfairy - I admire all NHS staff doing such a difficult job under awful circumstances. I can't praise the hospital which looked after my Mam over Christmas enough - the doctor and nurse were waiting for the ambulance! However what annoyed me was that there were people in the waiting room with colds!!! Have they never heard of a chemist? And the girl who was on a drip but still managed to go outside (in the snow) for a cigarette. Hugs to all. Sue xxx

Your Striplet dies really do all the work necessary to give a wonderful result. They also look so different when highlighted with a little colour and turn a simple page into a beautiful gift. I as yet don't have this particular one but have one from your first launch and one from the second and use them frequently. So I love today's gift - less is more and doesn't it work beautifully.

Sandra - Bon jour - je espere que vous allez bien ce matin. Hope you had a really good catch up yesterday and managed a little crafting as well. I really do wish I was closer and could join you occasionally.
Norah - Looking forward to having you back home soon. Hugs to all of you.
Pam - Oh Robbie has come such a long way over the last year. What a fantastic young man. He has really really worked hard and has shown determination all the way. You; his Mum and Dad and Sister will be so so proud of him.

Am starting my Year Book for Lily-Mae today so paper photos etc will be all over.

To all who are in pain/suffering I hope you feel better soon. To everyone please take care and stay safe. See you tomorrow.

Hi Sue,
Fabulous video! I love the striplet dies and this is one of the ones I have. I actually think there's only 1 I haven't got! Really like the way you have put the frame around as well. Can I just say that your cardigan is such a lovely colour - very fresh and Springlike.
Awful news from Paris last night, Janet I hope you are well away from it - not actually sure where you are. I love hearing your tales from La Belle France and I can always use my imagination to think of you in front of your log burner all nice and cosy.
I also feel sorry to all of our friends on the blog who work in hospitals as it must be so hard at the moment with all of the pressure you are under. I agree with Craftysue as well about those people who go to A&E with colds etc. so to everyone in the NHS, thank you for all of your hard work. I know when I had my knee replacement the nurses, doctors, auxiliary staff, cleaners etc on my ward were absolutely fabulous and couldn't do enough for all of the patients. Hoping everyone is feeling as well as they can and to those in Scotland stay safe and warm in the predicted high winds that are on the way. Love and hugs to each and everyone of the lovely people on the blog, love Alison xxx

Well since I fell I have been in complete agony with my shoulder, went to physio thos morning to discover the x ray I had was reported on from another hospital as showing concern, I now have had more x rays as they think when the muscle tore it broke my shoulder bone, but if it isn't broken then I have severe tissue damage, to be fair it wasn't a shock as I couldn't be in this much pain if something wasn't wrong as I take huge doses of morphine a day. I am more devastated as I wont be able to craft and I have orders to make. So it will be call in the cavalry Hubby and daughter.
Well I've moaned enough (sorry)
Hope everyone is ok. Warm Hugs Theresa xx

Hi Sue. WOW !! I love the video, it is fab !! I love the card to it is so pretty and elegant !! I also love your beautiful top !! The colour sooo lovely !! You look great in it.
Thank you for such a brilliant video and great top tips. It is really helpful. The card just looks so classy Sue. I do not have this Striplet Die, I had the Eternal Rings Stiplet Die for Christmas but this one is still there on my huge long wish list. I may have to buy this one as I got some Wonderful Joanna Sheen Vouchers for Christmas to. I love how you have put different colour distress inks on the flowers and leaves. Putting foam pads on the back of the striplet Die and using the ice snow glitter underneath really makes it that bit more special and then adding a frame over the top just finishes the card perfectly !! I love the sentiment tag to.
I just have to say that I loved yesterday's card. It was gorgeous, and Tuesday's card was lovely to Sue !! Thank you for everything you do. It really is much appreciated.
Wishing you lots of love today Sue love from Tres x x x

Cameeli, I think Mason is an unusual but lovely name for your first Grandson. Wishing you lots of love and hugs love from Tres x x x

Wishing all the Wonderful Wilsonettes lots of love today love from Tres x x x

Hello Sue
I looked at your great video early on today and have just realised I forgot to leave my comments.
The Striplet is gorgeous and this was one of the dies I was given for Christmas. I think your card is both pretty and elegant and I will be trying something similar in the next few days.
I, too, thought you looked wonderful in your new top!!

Ita, if you can't read the number to prove you're not a robot, click the first symbol (the arrow-headed open circle thing) and you will get a new number.
Take care everyone.
