Thank You For Thinking Of Me

Good Sunday Morning!  Pale pink (blush card) and chestnut brown for today's offering.  I used the French Collection Provence die insert to cut a pretty shape in the background of the card.  To add a bit more detail, I used the  outer cutting edge die and simply embossed it around the decorative insert.  I cut the Salzberg die from my Austrian die set next out of blush card and layered it up.  I stamped the sentiment using a Coffee Archival ink pad and cut it out with the inner die in the Auvergne set.  I added it to the centre using mounting foam.  I cut a French border out of chestnut card and glued it to the bottom.  I backed the entire piece with blush card so it showed through my decorative insert and below my border.  I scored the bottom of the blush card with a score board to add a bit more detail too.  I made a 3D Dotty bow out of blush card and added it to the centre of my border as an embellishment.  A blush card mat layer was paper pierced, then a thin chestnut card mat and a final blush mat to complete the card.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/2" x  8 1/4" in size.

Now for the winners of this week's comment game.  They are:
Serene Polly!!!
Ecco of Sheffield!!!
Carol Worwood!!!

For the extra qualifying post of Wed. Jan. 15th, the winners are:
Jackie Meechan!!!
Kerryn Ashton!!!

Congratulations!  Please email me at americansue1@gmail.com to confirm your address and claim your prize.  All for now, Sue x

I love it when you make a simpler card and it has that Sue Wilson look, this is lovely Sue. Not sure about the coloring as it looks a bit yellow on my computer but I can use my imagination. xxx

Morning Sue
Great card today but not sure about the colour - perhaps it is my laptop.
I especially like the way you used an outside cutting die to emboss a frame

Morning Sue. This is a beautiful card. The colourway is a bit different for you but i can see it in loads of different colourways. Like the way you have used the die to emboss the outside edge and the boarder is one of my all time favourites it has a lacey look about it. Another one to add to my try list. Congrats to all the lucky winners. Have a great day everyone.

Good morning Sue and everyone. As seems to be the consensus so far I'm not sure about the colours, but it doesn't matter as I love the style, especially how you have cut the inner part of the die out and then used the cutting edge to emboss. I also like how you have scored lines in the blush card at the bottom to give it detail.
Congratulations to all the winners. Sue xxx

Sunday Smiles coming your way Sue and to all that visit this freezing snowy morning. Such a beautiful delicate shade of pink, its truley gorgeous, and the chestnut draws its delicate colour out even more. There is nothing to this card I dislike, every die used works so well and each works to show off the beauty of the embossed edges...
Slowely working through the replacement cards for my market baskets and as I decided that this month I wont be able to leave the house due to the cold I can at least do the replacements at a leisurly pace, the down side is that my list of Sue die needs are now put on hold for a few months : ( Mr L has his last birthday starting with 5 looming, wonder if he would like a die or embossing folder as his birthday gift ? LOL.
Many congratulations to all comment winners today, I hear a VERY loud OOO LA LA coming over the channel from our Janet (eco) I agree with oyr P from Wales, another pastry to celebrate ? Hope you ALL enjoy your gift.
To our friends that are finding it a struggle today, woken in pain, or feeling down and low, we send our love and support to you. My basket of cosy hugs is full and waiting for you to take as many as you need, if only virtual hugs could do all we want. No matter what your plans for today I hope its a happy, pleasant day, thinking of those friends that wont be feeling as happy as they wished xx
Really missing our regular friends that have been missing far too long, please come home we all miss you SO much (you know who you are)
Sending much love up and down the country today.

morning Sue from a very very frosty white world here in Burgundy.
I have no doubts about today's gift it is just beautiful. Your colours for today so so compliment each other and your dies are doing all the work. Just as a Sue Wilson piece of art should look.

Sandra - I'm so sorry you had to miss your Friends party but I'm sure she understood. Hope your knee is somewhat better today.
Norah - Thank you for thinking that I have a lot of 'self control' as I find it very difficult as I always prefer sweet things to savoury and always struggle not to indulge when something sweet is around.

It's the most beautiful sight here at the moment the garden just looks as though someone has been out and sprinkled it with Iced Snow. Everything has a white sparkle coating to it and not a sound to be heard as yet. Even the birds seem to be having a lay in. Do not know what the temp is at the moment as Mr E hasn't yet returned from his morning excursion.

Am now off to do a little sing and dance (well at least in my mind) as I'm one of the very lucky ladies this morning seeing my name amongst the comment winners. I shall have to go back and just make sure that it's there. How lucky am I!!!! Congratulations to all the winners.

To all in pain, unwell or suffering I hope your day gets better. To everyone please take care and stay safe. See you tomorrow.

Hi Sue,
Love todays gift, it is truly beautiful. Who cares what colour it is, it's gorgeous. What struck me was the French Border. The 3 segments just beneath the bow in particular, they looked as if they had been designed especially for it. Fabulous, thank you again for all your inspiration.

Many congratulations to all the winners, especially JANET. never mind singing and dancing in your head girl, do it for real!!!
SAM, good luck on Tuesday, hope they sort you out.
IVY, forget the housework it will wait. Hope you have a good nights rest.
THERESA. I really feel for you, to be in constant pain must be awful. Sending you special comforting hugs. Wish I could do more.

Love and hugs for all
Saba
