Hello crafters! Here is one of the samples that I made for Sunday's live show from CHA. We are premiering the new Heartfelt Creations collections called Majestic Blooms and Raindrops on Roses. I have had the pleasure of creating with both of these beautiful sets recently and what fun I have had. Today's card shows off one of the stamps and the flower dies from one of the bundles. I stamped the flowers with a
black archival ink pad and coloured it with
Distress Markers. I cut it out by hand, shaped it a little and mounted it over another stamped version that I cut out with
Majestic Labels 25. I cut the larger frame in the set as well and mounted it up on foam pieces for dimension. I backed it with a
periwinkle blue mat. I cut the die and used several of the flowers to create my floral trio. I edged the tips with some
Shaded lilac and Tumbled Glass distress inks. I tied a messy bow using two colours of seam binding, spritzed it and crumpled it for a shabby chic look. I added it behind my flowers and tucked my sentiment in as well. I made two pretty stick pins and added them for an embellishment. I used the
Cosmic Shimmer white PVA glue to add dots to the blue mat. Then finished the card with a double white pierced mat layer to give it a nice framed look. Finished dimensions are 7" x 9" in size.

Yes WOW! This is more my sort of card. The blue is fab, the flowers are fabber and that bow is just FAB-U-LOUS! I've got Enchanted Labels but not Majestic and always trying to make flowers. So the c/card is twitching already as I have had a sneak peak at some of the bundles.

Oh how i really like the new stamps and designs that are coming out at the CHA this year. Pretty. Today's card is so beautiful Sue and in lovely colours too. Thank you for mixing the old with the new thus showing that they are all truly interchangeable. Evening or afternoon Sue, evening beautiful Wilsonettes. You light up OUR lives Sue with your non stop amazing cards - thank you. I love the Periwinkle blue card, it's one I hope my craft store can order for me along with a long list of 8 other colours ! Not that Im greedy you understand ! The new goodies look beautiful and cant wait to watch the shows tomorrow, I shall be stuck, glued to the t.v - litterally as I've been sticking my flowers (not sure of the dies used as I inherited them) but 1 small and 1large die and my dries clear glue, so yes, litterally glued to the tv zapper, it really gets in the way when you're trying to eat !
I know I have to, but cant wait for another sneak peak tomorrow and as for the Sue Shows, Im sure they will be the most watched shows of the day : )

I adore this card, I love the freshness of it, the clean lines and the use of the dies, but most of all I love the watercolour look that you have given the stamp, I have all the distress markers, well, the initial 30odd set I believe there is another large pack out but seeing as I haven't used up the initial distress markers I will carry on with all them for now but I love the watercolour effect you can achieve with them and the pads, as I used to (and am taking up again) paint with oils onto canvas, and started on the acrylics, but am loving the simplicity and flow of watercolouring, and Tim Holtz DI's manage it so well without me having to go out and buy more paint ! result!!! love everything darling, hugs always, Vick xx
