Congratulations

 Hello!  Another sample from the CHA show for today.  I was really happy with this one and have to admit that I made it in again with a slight variation in another colour to send to a friend of mine.  I started with the Tapestry background die and cut it in white.  I left a border around it wide enough to do some piercing and added mounting foam on the back to raise it for dimension.  I used the Majestic Blooms stamp on white card with a clear perfect medium pad.  I heat embossed it with white powder and cut the flowers out with the matching die.  Once cut, I inked them with Peacock Feathers distress ink.  I love the way the white embossing pops against the inked flowers.  I used a stylus to shape the flowers and then made a bud for the centres and added slightly larger flower pieces around the buds. I stamped the sentiment (from Taylored Expressions) and cut it into a strip, matted with teal card.  I seated the largest flower on to a white seam binding bow at the end of the sentiment strip.  I added two more flowers as accents and for a pop of colour.  I finished the card with a double white pierced mat layer.  Finished dimensions are 6 1/4" x 8 1/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x
