You Are Simply The Best

Hello all!  Today's card is a Heartfelt Creations creation! LOL  I started with one of the floral stamps from the Majestic Blooms collection.  I stamped it all over a piece of coconut white card using Seedless Preserves distress ink.  Once stamped, I used a wet paintbrush to pull in some of the colour and give some shading to the flowers.  I set them with a heat tool so they were nice and dry then put a sticky self adhesive sheet over the top.  I used Labels 22 to cut an aperture out of the centre.  I peeled off the backing paper and covered the piece with Diamond Sparkles.  Next I used the Tapestry embossing folder to add texture to the glittered background (and yes you can emboss even after you have covered the piece with glitter!).  I used the Labels 22 in the next smaller size to cut another aperture out of coconut white card.  I put a thin line of glue around the edge of the aperture, then covered it with Diamond Sprinkles.  I taped it to the stamped background so the apertures were lined up evenly and trimmed the edges to match.  I stamped my sentiment (Heartfelt Creations)on another piece of white card and used Seedless Preserves to lightly ink around it.  I used the matching distress marker to add a bit of colour around the actual wording too.   I added foam mounting pieces to the background and mounted it over my sentiment, which I centred in the window.  Using the Majestic Blooms stamp, I inked it with a clear perfect medium pad and stamped them on purple card and heat embossed them with white powder.  I cut them out with the matching die and layered up several of them to form three flowers.  I added pearls to the centres and seated them around the edge of my aperture and on some mauve seam binding that I tied into a messy bow.  I cut a couple of swirls from the Heartfelt Creations Dutch Iris set and added them around my floral embellishments.  I added a pearl swirl to the other side of the aperture and finished the card by adding a purple mat and my usual double pierced mat layers.  Finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x 8 1/2" in size.
I just wanted to let you know that I have added a bit of a small surprise to Saturday's post, so do pop by tomorrow to see what is there.  You will have to scroll to the bottom to find it!  All for now, Sue x

Morning Wilsonettes. Hi Sue when you wake and check your blog for the day : ) Im with Sam on this one, YOU are simply the BEST Sue, as are all Wilsonettes here who pop in throughout the day (that was a close shave almost mis-spelt pop) this keyboard on my phone is so touch sensitive, just hopeless for someone with unco-operative fingers !
Ohhh Mrs W, what are you doing to me, you are turning me into a 'want monster' !!! 1st it was the stamps of the delicate aster then the die to match, then Julia twisted my arm after her demo with the sweet Juliet, the way she shows those adorable flowers makes me drool, now the Majestic Blooms !! That's without the beautiful extra's like seam binding and folders, kerrrching city ! Im trying to save my craft fair money for the ebosser so I van be kinder to my hands and between all of you ladies that demo all these tempting items my box by right's should be void of any pennies at all ! I have to keep looking at my swollen joints, and say NO : ) I dont think Mr Lancs knew what he has started when he said "metal flowers for Valentines or rubber (I just threw that gem in) : ) will last longer - woohoo ladies, you know what you have to do now, Mr Lancashire said ..... I dont mind you putting the oweness on him, I think its a fab idea considering a man thought about it, right ?
Going back to the main reason Im here, Sue's card, it is so majestic and pretty, I can imagin it in so many delicate colour combo's and how can you NOT agree with every word Sam has said, we Wilsonettes WILL continue to support your blog for the wonderful work you show us, the tips and help on your video days, putting all the other things aside like giveaway days and blog candy comps, we visit because we ADORE your style, plus we all like being here to support each other on bad days (didnt see Heather R yesterday, hope all is ok)
So Mrs W keep showing us your stunning gifts of beauty for us to spend the day dreaming over, and spending a week trying to replicate in our way, hiding receipts when we've popped to 'Asda'.(suckers) : ) we just love you for what you do and who you are.
Hope everyone has a good day whatever you do, keep us posted Cameel, Norah STAY SAFE ! Tres hope you can sort your GC somehow.
Hugs to all.
Lancashire Steph xxx

Good morning Sue and fellow Wilsonettes,
Well aren't we spoilt for choice this week with our absolutely stunning selection of beauties. Have to agree with Steph, Sam and the others who like me are here because of the stunning inspiration that you give us each day, even if its not to our taste that day, there is always something about it that we can incorporate into our own little "masterpieces" (we should be so lucky). We all have different tastes and you go out of your way to explore them for us and for that we love you for your dedication to us your loyal and obedient(well sometimes) servants.
Tres flower, i would get in contact with Spellbinders about your GC as it shouldn't have done that with normal use, what have you got to lose? I know they have halves in price since i got mine, but that's not the point, it's still expensive when you did nothing wrong. Get writing to them or phone them if you have that international credit with your phone package.
Well that's all from me today and i am staying in and behaving today as the is body objecting to the thrills and spills that i inflict on it, so trying to sort out the craftroom, well its really the diningroom table and around it, but i can dream. See you all tomorrow hopefully,
Love and crafty hugs
Norah (Glenochil)

Hi Sue. This is definately another WOW card today !! I love your colour combo. I love every thing about this card. Your flowers look amazing !! I love the beautiful background you have created to. Also I love the idea of high lighting the sentiment with a suitable coloured pen - another great idea that I never thought of doing.
Thanks to everyone for their kind comments and suggestions about my broken grand caliber machine.
Hubby has now glued it with some very strong glue and has put some strong staples through the plastic to.
At the moment it is working fine again but i don't know how long it will last. I don't think Spellbinders will take it back now in its current state. I have had it quite some time now and will probably have to get a new one at some point. Create and craft I have noticed is selling the machines for three monthly payments of roughly £24 pounds for club members.

WOW what a stunning card I love it. The background and flowers look so pretty. The glitter and embossing go so well adds great interest and texture. I never thought of using glitter them embossing thanks for the idea, i will give this a go.

Absolutely beautiful Sue. I like the idea of using a wet brush. I so love this release from HC. I agree with the others it isn't about what you give away that makes me comment it is your beautiful creations and ideas. Thank you.
