Thanks

Hi bloggers!  I thought I would show off another colour of the Matte Chalk Polish; the very pretty sky blue.  I used the Openwork mask taped to a piece of white card.  I pounced the polish through using the foam applicator.  It dries very quickly so I cut it into three equal strips in a few minutes.  I added mounting foam to the back of each of the strips and attached them to a piece of white card with small gaps between the strips, but the pattern still in order.  I cut two of the Magnolia Corners in white and glued them in opposite corners.  I used the flower from the set to cut enough flowers to make the six flowers I added to the corners.  I cut them out of extra card that I covered with the Sky Blue polish so they would match.  I also cut the Bold Thanks sentiment out of it, added a black die cut as a shadow, then glued it to the shadow die which I cut in white.  I glued the sentiment to the centre of the card.  The card was completed with white and sky blue mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/4"  x  7 1/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Good Morning Sue and all..
As the early birds have said already "A beautiful card".
I'm sure it would look just as lovely as a shiny card and I have lots of shiny stuff but no chalk and don't want to buy any. I do love the beautiful shade of blue and the Magnolia corners.
We are so lucky to have our daily 'fix' from you Sue. You are a treasure.
Hugs.

Sending hugs and best wishes to everyone who needs them this morning. Kind regards Ann Toppcards Leeds.

Hi Sue, a really pretty card and the Sky Blue chalk polish is a beautiful shade. The background reminds me of Victorian tiles around a fireplace, lovely.

What a neat card this morning.I have not used chalk polishes but I would think something like the Color Chalk Inks? I do have a bunch of those and like them.
