Sending Mermaid Kisses

Hello there my crafty friends!  It's time for more mermaids!  I started this one by using the Mermaid Lagoon, Peacock Feathers and Salty Ocean Distress Oxides and swiping them across a piece of white card.  I spritzed it with water then embossed it with the Bubble Burst embossing folder for texture.  I used the Stitched Hills and Cloud die to cut the ocean floor out of milk card.  From the Mermaid Kisses set,  I cut two mermaids, one out of milk card and one out of Ocean card.  I added Peacock colour from the Holographic Sparkle Shakers  to the body of the ocean card mermaid, then nipped away just the mermaid body.  I coloured in the hair with Tea Dye ink and added some cheeks with Worn Lipstick to the milk card mermaid and then glued the sparkly body on to it.  I seated her on the left side of the ocean floor holding a small seashell.  I cut a wide strip of white card and added a thin ocean mat and glued it to the top of the card.  I cut the sentiment out of ocean card and glued it to the strip.  I added a small piece of seagrass and a couple of seahorses next to it.  I cut more sea grass out of an assortment of green card from my stash and glued them along the floor with seashells.  I cut three small fish and inked them with Spiced Marmalade and glued them to the card.  The card was completed with white and Ocean mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/2" x  7 3/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x
