Beautiful card Sue, love it. Truly elegant.
Tracey, how my heart aches for you having to face the treatment again, I so sorry to hear this. I know how devastated you are about your IVF treatment. The reason may be that pregnancy hormonal changes can accelerate the cancer as it did with my mum when she was expecting my sister. Please know that we will all be hear to support you again on this journey. Love to you and Graeme.
Laine, sorry about the forthcoming dentistry but you did make me laugh about Maureen. You are so naughty. I hope Darcey recovers from her scares soon.
Maureen glad you had such a good weekends do that the girls were well.
CraftyJo, we can't all like the same things otherwise there would never be any choices, don't worry you are safe lol.
My good news is that I got my letter yesterday, no action to be taken as per the guidance provided by the union which is what my daughter had been saying since August. I think my blog buddies proved an invincible support, thank you all.
My hugs to you all, lots for missing and poorly friends too.

Good morning Sue. A truly elegant and beautiful card, I don't have this striplet but as usual you've set my head spinning with ideas - I just need a couple of weeks off work to be able to bring them to fruition!
Pam, so pleased that you haven't had to wait all week for the letter, hope that you can now relax and get that BP down! Hugs to all. Sue xxx

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, a really beautiful card today, saw one similar on facebook a couple of weeks ago and so we made our version of this in my Wednesday craft group last week, it was very popular, thank yo Sue.

Pam I reiterate all you have said and for all of our blog friends please know that I am supporting you all the way too. Pam great news, why could they not tell you this on the day of the meeting instead of making you wait almost another week, perhaps this can now all be put behind you (and them) and we can concentrate on getting your op sorted out and back to better health, special hugs.

Been up since 4:00am woke up sneezing so got up and made myself a cup of tea and had a look at the computer. I had cut out the dies for the card we are making tomorrow in our craft group, stamped it and glittered it but this morning I notice that I smudged part of it, so today I am going to cut it out again and prep it in the day light... have a table light but didn't think I needed it, well that is one lesson learnt.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

Good Morning Sue

Another Cool card. This one would be good for when you need to make several very quickly. Ideas for these are always useful, especially for me this year as I have only just started on my Christmas cards. I know late for me isn't it? I might, I hate to say, have to buy some this year the first time I have bought any cards in years so that won't go down too well!

Have a great day Sue

Dear Sue and Caring Commenters,

It's hard to resist that striplet when you do a card like this, but if I bought the striplet, I'd have to get the song lyrics, and the silver glitter kiss. We should demand immunity from a certain percentage of each new release! I really like the many ways you do glitter effects.

What a relief, Pam! Although I think you should still do the massage, chocolate, pedicure, etc. You were so young when you were thrust into caring for your siblings. You are still caring, and you've extended that caring to us.

If all of us could lift a person up and float her through heartache, sorrow and pain, then Pam, Tracey, Laine, Elaine, Rosemary and Whoever Else, you would each be wrapped in comfort and embraced by love through every unbearable minute.

One of the most comforting things my psychiatrist said, and it surprised me, was: This is the sucky time.

Laine, I can just imagine what your cat must think, "It's so awful! Total destruction Has begun! I saw it myself.!I'm not going out there ever again!" And you made me laugh, too, with your "You are not so much old as you are really ancient" comment to Maureen. Actually, that could be on Sue's stamp set of Sentiments Inspired by Blog Comments.

And Myra, I loved your bit about the Fry's cream, the hug and the chocolate on your jumper.

Crewe Trish and Rosemary, thank you for your encouraging words.

Sam, since we're asking questions, do you have German in your background? I have concluded that you're used to seeing key words in a sentence capitalized, which I associate with the German language. On the other hand, at the end of the sentence the verbs you do not put.

Enjoy your Tuesday, Wilsonettes.

Love,
Donita

Hello Sue,
Love today's card. The striplet ties in so well with the flower, you'd think you'd designed them with this in mind ha ha.
Pam, great news so you can go forward without worrying. Celebrate - have a biscuit with your coffee!
Tracy, I've been thinking of you so much, let us know how you get on.
Elaine, love to you and yours. Hope things are well.
Laine, I'm not so much ancient as neolithic ha ha. By the way, you are now off my virtual Christmas Card list and I've had a special word with your dentist!!!! (Seriously, I hope your treatment is not too bad and over quickly).
Donita, you really shouldn't encourage Laine, she's easily led and I'm afraid that I've also struck your name off my virtual Christmas Card list. As for encouraging Myra with her Fry's chocolate cream (other makes are available ha ha), well that takes the biscuit - Tunnock's preferably ha ha. You should taste Patricia's Tablet (one of the 9), now that would get your taste buds dancing. One bite and you're hooked.
Pat L, our son in law has decided to update our kitchen (it was last refitted about 6 years ago!!!) I've just got rid of one lot of plaster dust and mess, for another lot to start this morning - help lol.
PP missing you, if you don't come back soon I'll have to ring you, or I may just do that anyway!
love to all
Maureen (fried Myra's fiend) xxxx

Hi Sue, I love this really gorgeous card and the way you glittered behind the striplet. I will try something similar using the Snowflake Mini Striplet and although it is not as open a design I am sure something will shine through. Great video as usual and proves just how much I *need* some glitter kiss.

Pam - so happy that you had a good result, it really was the only possible outcome but it is a shame that they had to put you through the wringer first. Relax now and get that BP down.
Laine - more fillings? I hate getting even one! I think I remember you saying that Darcey would not use a litter tray, that is a shame as it would be so much less stressful for both of you. I can only commiserate on the nocturnal perambulations and hope that she gets over her fear of outside very soon.

Hello Sue,
Just spent a lovely few minutes enjoying your video and seeing you create this spectacular card. I love it to bits, bling does it every time for me. Your snowflake striplet is just gorgeous, I could kick myself for not getting it, might have to remedy that quickly.

Pam, so glad everything has worked out for you in the end, lets hope you can start enjoying going into work in the future without the sword od Damocles hanging over your head.
Lorraine younhave my sympathy, I loathe going to the dentist. Hope Darcey soon gets more confident about the great outdoors soon.
Donita what a lovely profound thought, if only we could. I laughed at your last sentence, have you ever read the terrible German language by Mark Twain - Hilarious it is!!
Rosemary love don't be upset, there are those in life who strive to bring love and kindness to others and then there are those who don't. Personally it made me laugh, I am not inclined to "chat to my heart" I most definitely don't want to " explode" and I've never been " Surly" in my life! Isn't grammar a wonderful thing.
Love and hugs to all but extra special ones for Tracy.

Good evening lovely Sue and her crafty crew!

What an inspirational card, i havent watched the video yet but i am certain that it will be both thoroughly enjoyable and informative. The snowflake striplet is fabulous and would be an ideal candidate for batch making, quick and easy to assemble but with the maximum impact a Christmas card requires. Superb Sue, keep those festive cards rolling in because i need all of the inspiration i can get:-)
Made progress with Darcey last night, she heard me get out my coat to take her a walk and came out from under my bed, down the stairs and went towards the door to be let out:-) It seems she’s building her confidence again and so far today she’s followed her normal routine so I have high hopes for later on....
Frances, you know better than most that cats can play havoc with their owners nocturnal routine, they rule the roost and wrap us round their little paws:-) You are so right, when they’re stressed, we are stressed, but i am hoping that given time she will gain her confidence again.
Myra, all this talk of Fry’s Chocolate Cream has sparked fond memories of my dear Dad who was addicted to it during his life, he could never leave a newsagent without buying a couple of bars:-) Happy days.....
Maureen, Neolithic? Well, all i can say is you wear it well honey:-) i would never have guessed that you were a day older than prehistoric! Good luck with the kitchen renovations, hope you get rid of the dust and grime before Christmas....are you getting professionals in to fit it or is George doing the honours?
Pam, excellent news! That must be a load off your mind and hopefully your BP will reduce accordingly now that this pressure has been alleviated. Now just the operation to focus on, hopefully it happens soon:-)
Carmen, so heartening to hear that Jacob got such a great response to his wish, hopefully it will give him the strength to fight this terrible disease. Thanks for asking about Yvonne, she’s had a gastric infection that required an overnight stay in hospital through dehydration, she’s feeling rough at the moment but will be back with us as soon as she is able:-) Talking to her on Thursday so will give you all an update then.
Rosemary, please don’t get upset about Anonymous comments designed to create discord, they’re not worth the aggro and are a cowards way of putting an opinion across. Sue is happy with the blog comments and that is all that matters, anyone who doesn’t like the comments has the option just to leave their own contribution and not read anyone else’s. I intend to keep commenting as i always have in the hope that I can show my appreciation to Sue AND offer some support to my friends on the blog after all why cant you do both? Xxx
Tracy, thinking of you honey, please keep us informed of your progress, hugsxxx
Sending hugs to all, especially my blog bestiesxxx

Love and crafty hugs

Hello Sue,
I love this card, your Snowflake flourish makes a lovely frame and your paved pearl background sets it off beautifully. I must confess it's not a technique I have ever done, don't think is have the patience for it. Thank you for the opportunity to win this gorgeous creation.

Donita when I was first studying German, Mark Twain helped me get the through the painful process. His tale of the fish wife is hilarious and his take on declinations brilliant.
Elaine I hope you finally got to play with your new machine. Sorry Andrew isn't feeling very well at the moment.
Rosemary you made me laugh, goodness know how your envelope turned out like a pig!
Maureen I've told you before, pole dancing is nothing to do with a maypole! Behave!!!
Lorraine, please tell me you don't go wandering around at night dressed in only your nightie! Think you need to progress to pyjamas. What with Maureen wanting to pole dance and you wandering the streets in the nearly altogether I don't know what to think. Please give my love to Yvonnne too.
I booked out trip home for Christmas today and I can't wait, grandchildren get ready to be smothered in kisses.
Love and hugs for all, special ones for Tracy
