Gorgeous card Sue, lovel the woven effect and the flowers too.
I thought I was at a Riverdance concert last night then I realised it was all the very lucky winners of the dies doing their Happy Dances, so many happy people, this is what you do for us. I consoled myself by watching Lisa on Hochanda and she made me buy the Indistrial Chic collection, honestly she did.
Congratulations to our Wed winner Sherry, enjoy.
Elaine, I hope Andrew is feeling better. You seem to be flying with your new Gemini, well done you. I find dies give the best mat/layering.
June, I should have guessed although I did not know they did it in Mauve. It will be so useful to take to your craft club.
CraftyJo, nice to see you in the winners too, enjoy.
Saba, your win couldn't have been more perfect for you unless it was the dies with two glasses. Have fun with it.
Donita, hope you are doing well. Have a good relaxing weekend, some you time is needed I think.
Cheryl enjoy your rest, I'm sure they will have more work on the cards for you soon.
Sam hope your internet starts to behave itself.
Hugs to all, enjoy your weekend. Special hugs for all our poorly and missing friends.

I reiterate everything you have said above Pam, I bet you are looking forward to the weekend now. The purple junior Gemini is a limited edition, I don't remember seeing them on hochanda the other day, I managed to get mine from the CC website.

Dear Sue and We're All Winners,

Even simple weaving in black and white looks fabulous. And it's nice to know that one doesn't have to buy more than one weaving set to achieve the look.

Congratulations to all the lucky winners! And to Sherry. I agree with Pam on Saba's match.

June, you were so smart to get a portable machine. You do so much on the go.

Carmen, your command of English is not only excellent but also expressive. You must be a poet in your first language.

Tracey, I hope you can find a way to surround yourself with beauty. Mine was making giant bubbles. They reflect the sky, trees and water upside down, with wobbles and swirling colors. Attracts a crowd of children, and they all want to pop them right off the wand. You have to position yourself so the bubbles go out over water. Helped me adjust to infertility.

It's also nice to make flowers and play with colors and dies.

I hope everyone has a good weekend.

Love,
Donita

Thank you everyone for all your comments wishing my brother well. The out come from yesterday's appointment is that sadly, he has been suspended for a while from the transplant list as he is not well enough for the operation to go ahead. He has other underlying health problems that are causing delays, he also suffered a mild stroke in July. These problems have made the operation high risk, so we have to wait yet again. I can't thank the nhs enough for all they have done for him especially the staff in Manchester who got us seen to straight away because of the distance we had come. So thank you all again for you lovely comments which I have passed on to him. Kind regards Ann Toppcards Leeds

A beautiful card. The weaving dies have to be my favourites of all time, I love the effects you can create with them. Hopefully I will get up to collect my Intermediate die during the week.

Hello Sue,
Love today's card and the pop of colour is fantastic. This would be wonderful as a male card (or a DIY lady) with the industrial dies instead of flowers. Gorgeous!
Pam, I hope you feel lighter in spirit this weekend with the letter you received and also the news about your line manager. I didn't realise that you knew Saba and her penchant for a drop of the white stuff whereby two glasses are definitely better than one ha ha.
Congratulations to Sherry on winning the wonderful Wednesday card.
Tracy, you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Ann Topcards, my thoughts and prayers go to your brother and your family,
Donita, the bubbles method of coping sounds really interesting, and something which doesn't cost great expense or equipment. Crafting is also a marvellous way to put worries or disappointments on the back burner and immerse yourself in a "happy" place.
Elaine, love and prayers for the family, and I hope your laptop starts behaving,

Hello Sue,
I have fallen deeply for today's card, I absolutely love the colourway, black and white with a touch of raspberry looks stunning. Daft as it may sound it evoked memories of Mary Quant and the fabulous black and white designs she created. She was an amazing designer and you have a lot in common with her! You are both inspirational designers. I adore the pinwheel floral die, it's one of my go to flowers now, always looks amazing in whatever colour is chosen. You make the weaving look so easy on the video, I've not really been tempted before but I am now.

Now Pam, Donita and not forgetting Maureen it would seem you have been influenced by previous comments with regard to my prize. I'll have you know it's a very rare occasion when I have a glass of wine! Two glasses and you may be nearer the mark lol!
Ann I'm so sorry your brother is having to wait for his operation, let's hope things improve for him and he can have it sooner rather than later.
Trish I'm glad your mum was alright, sorry but I laughed at your husband passing out at the sight of blood. What a day you've had!
Tracy I hope you can soon enjoy playing with your new dies.
Donita I'm sending you a huge hug, it's shaped like a giant bubble and in its reflection you will see a rainbow.
Many congratulations Sherry, you've won a fabulous card, enjoy the beauty of it when it arrives.
Lorraine hope you are alright, missing you.
Love and hugs for all

Hi Sue,

What a simple gorgeous card you made! I have to invest in this die set, so beautiful and versatile. Love it. Thank you for the inspiration.
Congratulations to Sherry!

Ann – A hug for you and your brother.
Trish- What a day you had! Glad your mum is OK.How is hubby now :)
Marie – I am living in Toronto. Where did you live in ON?
Donita – You are so funny ... I had my “poetry moment”, like maybe most of you, when I was very young. I had a very happy childhood without any restrictions and my late dad had always encouraged me to do what I like. But this was so long ago. On the other hand emigration was a tough and painful process so I needed and need, like you said, to surround myself with beauty, helping me to overcome the challenges and emotions.(Even after all these years I still cry when I prepare our traditional meals for Christmas and Easter; miss my family so much..) Crafting is one of the relaxing and enjoyable ways that gives me balance and satisfaction, and once in a while I put some words on the paper, too, nothing fancy or for somebody else’s eyes, just for my soul. Love your giant bubbles ...
Tracy - You’ll find a way to win the war, not only a battle and you are not alone in this. A big, gentle hug for you.
Myra – You are a special person, aren’t you? Cluj Napoca is a nice city and people speak Romanian with a Transylvanian accent. I had a co-worker who moved back home 2 years ago. His son, even he went to school here grade one to high school he was still speaking both languages with his cute Transylvanian accent.
Maureen – For kids is easier to learn a new language. I do my best and thank you.
Saba - When I saw the die set you won I smiled and I said in my mind: it suits her like a glove. Maybe because I still remember that/those Prost and Prost and Prost again, story(ies) :)
PP & Laine - Hope you are OK.

Hugs to you all,
Still a newbie to Craft / not longer the newest, or the only across the pond Wilsonette
