Framed Adornments Card

Hi crafters!  Look at what you can do with the beautiful Magnolia Adornment.  It just adds so much detail and delicacy to the inside of this frame!

The finished dimensions are 8 1/4" x  8 1/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Morning Sue.
Another beautiful delicate card this morning. Unfortunately I don't own any of your new collection apart from the poppy die, but I do have the square dies. As previously mentioned, I'm not the sharpest pokey tool in the box so had many a problem trying to fathom out how to make frames as you do !! Easy peasy many of you may say, but read the above self confessed statement and discover I don't admit to being bright in the brain dept. I'd been using them totally wrong so not getting the beautiful effect I so longed for, once explained to me by numerous lovely friends from fb I now frame everything in sight if its still for long enough lol. Andy looks lovely framed in milk card with his peachy skin tone that'll teach him for getting too comfortable in his recliner chair !! Going back to being sensible - sorry, I have really fallen back in love with the square nobles and am now saving for the new oval and rectangles, as like you have done here Sue, there are so many of your gorgeous dies that can be stuck to the back of the frames to make a beautiful card, I recently did that with the Canadian background and it looked so pretty. Really looking forward to watching what John does with the new collection (does he EVER stop) ?

Sending you hugs as usual Sue and hoping you have a lovely day xx

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, oh such a pretty card today, I am going to watch the video when I have my breakfast in a minute.

Stephanie C I am pleased you have sorted out the framing, it is wonderful isn't it, and with the A and B sets, you can mat and layer so easily by using the largest from set A and then the largest from set B, then the 2nd largest from A and then 2nd from B, and you end up with 2 lots of exact matting and layering cardstock, hope that makes sense.

Pam thanks regarding wound clinic, it is still not healing in the one place so they are trying a honey strip under the dressing this time to see if that will do it, looks like it will be at least another few weeks yet but I am getting there.

Oh Sue thank you so much for the advice yesterday.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

Hello Sue and all
Thank you for the video Sue, great and informative as always. The magnolia is a gorgeous die and works beautifully behind the frames. Makes a fabulous card.
I finally got the B set of noble dies and you wouldn't believe it, my grand calibur is playing up so I can only use smaller dies on my poor old little machine. Luckily my fiend's husband is very good at these things and has fixed a couple of problems, cleaned it out and is putting it back together as we speak. Can't wait to get it back home, I feel lost without it.
Hoping things continue to improve for you and hubby Nanna Tina and June as well. Sounds like a great day Tracey, have a great holiday, you deserve it.

Hello Sue
Have just watched your video so many tips to help us aspire to making cards nearly as beautiful as yours. June when I was nursing we always used honey on wounds that were not healing properly then health and safety reared its head and we had to stop mind you we were using it straight from the jar not very sterile. To Pat L please keep us informed about Sarah I hope the operation is a success.

Hi Sue, this is a lovely card that I remember from the January launch, very classical looking. Clever use of the magnolia adornment and I love the central stamp. The touch of colour just lifts it perfectly.

Pat L - Thinking of Sarah and hoping all is going well.

Three lovely sunny days in a row here in Central Scotland. I agree with Tracy - this is probably our summer :-) Beautiful clear blue skies with bright sun but a fairly strong wind, just right for drying the washing! Sorry for all those who have rain and cold weather but don't be too jealous as I am sure it won't be too long before we get the rain again. I am a happy bunny today as the postman has brought me the Delicate Garden Frame die set. I have only waited about eight months for it but I am gradually chipping away at my very long list.

Good afternoon Sue and the Wilsonettes,
This is a beautiful clean looking card Sue and with that touch of pink/peach against the milk card just gives it a soft glow. Needless to say flower i don't have any of these dies either but it doesn't stop them from being on my wish list. Thank you Sue for a bonny card and for giving us the inspiration to use what dies we do have for it. I hope that you have had a lovely day down south, i know up here at Glenochil it has been a beautiful day although i have been too worried to enjoy it. My four legged baby girl didn't eat all her dinner last night which is unusual for her as who needs a hoover when they have a chocolate lab in the house. Well at bedtime she didn't get up to meet me either so i had a fits and starts sleep. This morning Campbell called his work at 7am to say he wasn't coming in because she was so seriously ill but had to wait until 8:30 to call the first available vet. He has researched it on the internet and thought she had Pyometra which he gave them all her symptoms to the vet and we have had to take her through to Dunfermline Veteranary Hospital and she has had a whole lot of tests bloods and kidneys to see if she would be able to make it through the massive operation to remove everything from her as this poison can kill her within 24-48 from start. It's taken to 17:20 for us to find out if our baby girl has made it through or not which she has although still on a drip and pain killers as she is going to be sore for a while, but i'm just glad that she is hopefully going to pull through, at least she#s came around from the anaesthetic so that's good news. I've given myself more pain becuase i couldn't keep still and was pacing up and down into all the rooms, even trying to eat just wasn't happening as i had got so worked up about here. Any way i shall wish you all a good evening and will see you tomorrow, sending hugs to all the Wilsonettes that could do with them, want them or need them, take care
love and crafty hugs

Good evening lovely Sue and her crafty crew!

Beautiful card Sue, I love anything incorporating your custom made frames, the Noble dies are slightly more expensive but what an investment! I only have the rectangles A&B, much to my pain and suffering, and have to content myself with the thought that one day I will be able to add the squares.....and the circles.....and the ovals......oh, and the other rectangle!.....to my collection.....time I get myself a rich sugar daddy, though at forty four next week, my choice is rapidly dwindling:-)
I haven't had time to watch the video so far today but I will thoroughly enjoy witnessing you weave your magic later.
Well, we've had a glorious few days in Central Scotland, our summer has arrived and long may it last:-) Cardmaking for me has quite literally gone out of the window.....I can't resist toasting myself in the sunshine until I turn a flattering shade of pink....I haven't really sunbathed properly in six years since my cancer diagnosis but a little bit of something does you good I think and it always boosts my spirits. Unfortunately my rather pinkish flesh will be inspected tomorrow at the hospital when I go for my three month cancer/ biopsy check, don't think my consultant will be too impressed.......
Pat, thinking of you, Sarah and her family today, I do hope that the operation went well and that Sarah's recovery were be swift and a successxxxx
Norah, oh my poor little dear, you really have had a dreadful day. My heart goes out to you, I can't imagine anything worse than to have to sit and wait for news of your fur baby. How on earth did she ingest the poison? I saw on Supervet, a cat that had been poisoned and the situation was equally critical, but after a vodka drip the pussy was as right as rain...if rather inebriated:-) Fingers crossed that you are now over the worst and that your baby makes a full recovery. I grew up with a lab, they are adorable and boy, do they like their food!xxxx
June, I also saw on Supervet, honey being used to combat infection on a wound, I hope it does the trick for you, take carexxxx
Tracy, great you enjoyed your day in Aberfoyle, the weather is fantastic, I just hope it lasts for your holiday, though this is Scotland and we have to be realistic now don't we?
Frances, enjoy your new die set, I've had it for a number of months now and I'm ashamed to admit that I haven't christened it yet, your excitement has given me fresh impetus to fish it out for a play:-)
Hugs to all our absent or ill friends, including Yvonne, Beth, Wheely bad, Lorraine, Lynda, Linda, and Rebecca.
Extra hugs to Maria, Theresa, p, pat, Pam, Alison , deb c and all in need of a cuddlexxx
Have a lovely spring evening everyone and belated Happy Mothers Day to our American , Canadian and Australian friendsxxxx
