GM Sue. Love this card. I did my take on this for Hubby's valentines card and it looked lovely. Today is my village spring show. The hubby is out in the garden sorting out his daffodils he will be exhibiting. I am ennteing 5 craft classes but there isn't a card class at this show. Fingers crossed the judge will like my efforts. I can never tell what will do well. The things I think are good don't get placed and the things I think are OK but could be better do! It's all down to the competition I suppose. Off to get myself ready and pack everything. Congrats to the candy winners.

Hi Sue & Lovely Wilsonettes***this charming, delectable & fun filled shaker card is a very beautiful & incredibly striking gift you share with us today Sue, the Enchanting Buckle dies, Charismatic Heart Lattice EF, & the Captivating Heart of Hearts die, I’m proud to say are all part of my SW collection, how lucky that my hat was extremely amiable in coughing up this divine combination for me in one go. I have never before had the inclination to attempt making a shaker card until I saw you’re very instructional & enlightening video so I would like to express my sincere appreciation that you have shared this with us Sue, as always you show us just how easy & effective different techniques in creating a card can be. THANK YOU x x x x x

Wed’ card giveaway*Stamps & Paper, congratulations on winning Sue’s beautiful ‘Thank you’ card & Candy winners*Beverley*Virginia & Deb, congratulations on your prizes, you are so lucky to win & I’m pleased for you but I also count myself extremely fortunate & privileged that I strike gold every day when the vision of your daily creations Sue appear before my eyes x x x

Huge Cuddles to Pushy, Scamp (so glad he is out of cage), & to Annie & all pets, Lauren is continuing to do well thank you x x x

Jenny wren*how awful & frustrating for you, (((HUGS))) for you my friend & hope that you recover soon x x x sadly this also happened to my dad-in-law who is 83, we had brought him a pendant & a special mobile which when pressed they alert our mobile phones, but against all advice he never carries either with him, he spent ages on the ground in the garden, with a severe bruised face, until a neighbour heard his cries for help & contacted us. The same when he spent 6 ½ hours overnight on bedroom floor after a fall, never used the lifeline now put in place for him. In fact this is why I didn’t get to comment yesterday (Sorry Sue, gorgeous card though& I can see why you love it so x) Had shopping early, some tidying up, then garden centre for a few plants, then lunch at dad-in-laws, & just as we were eating dinner he phoned & said a guy’s coming to see him with something he didn’t order & he thinks it is a scam, well we got there & it turned out it wasn’t a scam as Dad had phoned a mobility shop & ordered 2 mobility scooters worth 2 ½ grand (he didn’t need as his one is a good one & works well). I felt sorry for the poor guy as he wasn’t happy & he had travelled quite a distance but had to tell him no thanks, this has happened before so wonder what next. We got back to eat our ruined dinner, fed the girls & Mr B said lets unwind & watch ‘Dawn of the Planet of the Apes’ 2014 version, ok I thought I can comment here after that. Well we kept falling asleep, rewinding each time & eventually had to give up & go to bed, will watch later we hope...Lol x

I too will miss your upcoming shows Sue & I’m so gutted that this will be happening because every time I try to watch Hochanda on the computer it keeps buffering, stopping, buffering, stopping then it just stops altogether, it’s not as if I don’t have a good signal because I do & I do feel for those who don’t have this.

I sincerely hope that everyone is enjoying a peaceful & joyous Easter weekend with some crafting time enjoyed too. Take care to all, Love ‘n’ (((HUGS)to all & to Sue & Family Beth B xxxxx

This is a lovely card, like the design and colours. I do like the buckle bar diie and to use it to make a shaker card is a great idea, unfortunately, I will have to leave watching the video until I get home on Tuesday as I am up at our caravan using my phone to get a Bluetooth connection so that I don't miss my morning fix of your, Julia's and John's blogs and I don't know how much of my precious data availability it would use. I would hate not to be able to catch up on the remaining days. It is, at present, tipping down with very heavy rain and the caravan rocked all night with the wind and is still doing so. And I need to go out and do some shopping for my mum aaaaaaagggggghhhhhhhhh.

Good morning Sue and the Wilsonettes,
Congratulations to all the winners of the blog candy giveaway and to this weeks card winner, enjoy everyone your prizes when they come.
Sue i really like this card but i don't know what specfic thing about it makes me love it as each and every component in it just adds that bit of right bit to be there. I haven't got the bars yet but i will as i just think that these could be so useful in a lot of different ways. Thank you flower for a beautiful card that brightens up our day.
Elizabeth, oh it's just as well you did go flower as i can just see 3 scooters instead of lying in your father in laws. Poor old soul as i think that the man delivering them would have perhaps pressurised the old soul into taking them. And anyway, didn't they think it strange that one house would be ordering TWO scooters at once? Me thinks it is just as well you are a strong lady that at least won't let him get conned into something he doesn't need.
Pam, oh boy are you so right about keeping out of the way of those two but also remind my dear son of his last mishap of coming down the stairs too fast and ending up in A&E with his nose separated from his face and needing stitches because of him hitting his face off the WC door handle. I have got the stairs cleared for a good runway for his egg so that there is nothing to trip over other than his big feet. How is young Robbie doing this weather? Oh how proud we all are with his determination and fight that he has put up and winning on his road back to fitness.
Well today being Saturday i have Rory's carer coming to take him out and about for a couple of hours, the washing that i thought i would get out today will now need to go on airers as it is raining and i think i need to tidy up my craftroom(diningroom)as i have no place to craft any more. You start off with a table and end up with a foot square piece of empty surface. Have a lovely weekend everyone with hugs going to all that need them,
love and crafty hugs

Shaker cards are always fun...I love interactive cards. Great video and I had to laugh at the upside down orientation warning...wish I could say I haven't done that before....easy to do with patterned papers that have small script mixed in the design...LOL If you use sequins or metallics for confetti in your shaker, I've found wiping the acetate with the non-static bag will help the confetti move better.

Great card...thanks, again, for the inspiration.

Congrats to all the recent winners!!!!

Sue this card is gorgeous!!! I love the colors you chose to work with and I love all shaker cards! I think that the pieces from the hearts being used for the shaker portion are just brilliant! Truly love it! And congrats to Stamps and Paper on the win!

This card is beautiful and although I haven't made a shaker card yet I have used this die
for valentines and anniversary cards and I love using it.
It cuts so beautifully and I love the little bits that are left, definately one of my favourites.
will have to get the buckle die so I can try and make this one.

Hi Sue - I loved the clever way you used the buckle dies when I saw you demonstrate it on tv. Using the pieces as a shaker card is such a good idea. Kind regards

Hi, I was looking for something like this on the internet until I finally stumbled upon this blog. It is splendid work! I liked how the author started the first paragraph in an interesting way and also used a witty line to conclude things. Apart from the research, grammar, and vocabulary, the one thing which has really struck me is the ease at which I can read this. There are no difficult words. I am a digital content writer as well, and I like criticism of my work. If you like to critique a few informative blogs such as this one, please go to this link:
