Stacked Die Cuts

Hi crafters!  I did say it was going to be a short break from Christmas! LOL  Actually I am glad to show this video today as I didn't get a chance to show this tree off to it's fullest.  It is under a ten minute video so hopefully you will have time in your busy schedules to have a watch!

Buy from Joanna Sheen

Finished dimensions are 7 1/4" x 8 1/2" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Hello Sue, a really lovely Christmas card, love the Tree die, and a really great tip for layering to get dimension. The frame with the mica flakes really makes the focal element stand out. Great video showing how to do it with the tape. Have a great day everyone. Bx

Oh what a lovely card, Sue, perfect white-on-white with just that smidgin of bling. Used the Spellbinders 'similar but without the halo' tree for last year's cards and can't imagine cutting three of each unless for a special person - was at the throat cutting stage after 50 and still with loads to go!!
Watched the Lee show on C&C last night that everyone was talking about - so funny - you two make a good team!
Hope you get a bit of R&R before Ally Pally??
Thanks for the video, always new things to learn and try.

Cheryl - so hoping your treatment goes well.

morning Sue
Today's gift is just beautiful. Just enough bling to enhance your gorgeous die. Although I already have a lovely tree die - bought last year - this one has gone onto my 'need' list. I'm also so pleased that you kept it all white apart from the edging.

Norah - you're posting was beautiful and you don't need to say any more. I know just how difficult everything is at the moment but just stay strong and one day at a time.

Well I made a start on sorting out my crafting hoard although I didn't get very far. Have sent one or two pattern books across to a friend as I am finding it very difficult to knit these days. I also managed to move a stand of drawers. Today is my Knit and Natter day so have to pack up my demo packs plus refreshments etc. I've done this for quite some time now but still get that feeling that I've left something out of one of the packs. I don't breathe until everyone has opened their folders and everything is there in place.
Sometimes I wish I was Dorothy with a pair of red shoes. It would be so much easier.

Hope everyone is moving up my scale of OK today. Take care and stay safe. See you tomorrow.

Morning Sue and dear Wilsonettes. Oh my, this is stunning Sue. I would make all my cards white on white if I could, it looks so classie and demure. Micra flakes now added to my list, I am now proud owner of your favourite Ice Snow, blush and aqua card, which I received within a week after my lovely craft shop owner ordered them from her CE rep, ohhh dear, time to 'fess up' good job Mr Lancashire cant see this but, when I went to collect my order the delivery box from CE had just been ordered, it was like Id stepped into a box full of treasure, what did I see smiling up at me ? Rows of bows EF : 0 it looked so squashed up inbetween packets of Foundation card, gasping for air, I just had to help it out of the box, before I knew it, it was lying all happy and relaxed by the shop till, it looked so cute snuggling upto the blush card, how could I have one without the other ? So I got home and made a beeline off to the left which is my crafting cave, and guess what ? Shhhhh - only you and I know its in there - teehee
Well Sue, you must have such a busy week leading upto Ally Pally, just wish it was one I could get to, but I just know your stand will be constantly surrounded by your admirers, so have a wonderful time.

Judy M - what a wonderful lady you are raising all that money. My stash goes to the childrens ward at my local hospital, they now have more than ME, so I must save hard to build mine up now.

To my lovely friends, I hope today is a better day for you, take each hour as it comes dont rush the day away, but if you are sad, down, in lots of pain, come take as many gentle hugs from my hug basket as you need, I have plenty to go round.

Love you.

Hi Sue
Really enjoyed your Video.Seeing your tree's illuminated part has given me a Idea for a card by using an creative expression stamp which is of a light house - it's a very old stamp- decoupage it and then use your trees embossing part for behind the lighthouse to look like the light is on. Wonder if it would work for behind a candle going to see if it does.
Your finished result is stunning Sue and your right anyone would love such a card.

Hi Sue,
I just loved this card when you showed it at the die launch on the blog. I was trying to work out how you had raised such a filigree die - think I said so at the time - as I always try to guess what you have done before I read what has actually been done! It is stunningly beautiful and made me buy the die! Need to get those lovely micro flakes!
Steph - you didn't buy an EF yesterday - it was more a Mission of Mercy to save it! I think ! You convinced me anyhow! x
Judy M - well done, what a lot of money you have raised.
Norah - was so good to hear from you again. Think of you every day - often many times - like many others on the blog. Sending a daily bundle of hugs! x
Anne - like you getting ready to go on holiday. We go on Friday morning, all being well ! Hope you have a lovely time .
To the ladies going to Ally Pally - and also the gentlemen! Have a lovely time - hope you manage to meet up . Sue, hope you have a great time too.
Yesterday we saw what we thought was a mouse on our lawn - it looked too big so on closer inspection discovered it was a baby hedgehog! It was so cute - we have always had at least one in the garden somewhere but never seen one so small. Hope it keeps safe!
Sending love to all the lovely ladies on this rather special blog, ps. Are you ok Lynne?

Norah, Dear girl it's not a question of pulling yourself together, take it a day at a time, cry if you want to, laugh if you want to - jump over your Ochills if you feel up to it!!!!! DO NOT push yourself, you will get there - It takes time, most of all take time for you. LOL

Jean Phillips, thank you for your update on Nick in Bulgaria.

Janet, Hope you're Knit and Natter day went well.

Hi Sue

Haven't been for a while, our faithful friend Sam, our dog of over fifteen whom we'd seen born, passed away three weeks ago and I can't seem to want to do anything, until I saw your card today. It uplifted me and I could see myself making this card a few times. It is stunning, it took my breathe away so thank you Sue for inspiring me to have a go.

Good evening Sue and my Wilsonette Angels,
What a beautiful card Sue that is giving me a twofer look as i see some of the photographs as ivory and soft gold and the video and last picture as white and silver. I love these dual pictures as it gives so much versatility.
Thank you girls each and every one of you very special angels on earth. Although some days i just can't seem to come on i read all about everyone and what they are saying and you really don't know how much i have clung onto all your thoughts, your hugs, your stories and laughter. My smiles will come back but i just wanted to say to the special people that are thinking of me with their thoughts and their prayers, thank you for you are worth your weight in pure gold. Some people go a lifetime trying to get one of these people, i am so lucky to have all of you.
Love and crafty hugs

ESTHER F - special hugs, so sorry you have lost your dear dog Sam. A lot of us on the blog have been through similar dark times, and have gained strength through all the lovely support and comments.
There will be a lot of people sending you cyber wishes. You have fifteen years of wonderful memories to look back on.

Esther F - I am so sorry to hear your sad news. I have only had my dog just short of two years but I wouldn't be without him. I know you will always remember him with fondness even when he was being naughty but they really do become part of your family.
Hugs to you Helen K xx

What a GORGEOUS tone on tone card. Love the combination of elements here, like the layered tree to give it dimension and that beautiful golden microflakes frame, and that embossing behind the lovely tree to illuminate it, all fantastic!
