Love You

Good Sunday morning all!  It is big bow day again today, but it has been awhile to be fair! LOL  I selected some dusty rose card from my stash (we don't have this shade in our range currently) and I watermarked it by stamping the Rose Bouquet stamp by Justrite all over the background.  I used a Clear Perfect Medium pad to create the watermarked effect, then heat set it.  I love this as it is very soft, but gives a nice interest to the card. Using a black Archival ink pad, I stamped my sentiment in the lower corner and added small pearls between the words.   I wrapped a length of dusty rose frilly edged ribbon around the bottom of the card and taped the ends to the back.  I tied a double bow and added it with a glue dot to the side of the card.  The bow was finished with a small pearl embellishment and a couple of stick pins that I made to match.  For the focal element, I cut a Decorative frame from my California Collection in white.  I used that as a backdrop for the Justrite stamped label seven image.  I stamped it in black on white card and cut it out with the matching Labels seven die shape.  While still in the die, I inked it lightly with Victorian Velvet Distress ink before removing it so it was toned in nicely with the card.  I mounted it with foam in the centre of the other die cut so you can just see it peeking out from underneath.   I finished the corners with several different sizes of flatback pearls as accents.  The rest of the card was finished with a white pierced mat layer, then a thin black mat and a final white layer.  The finished dimensions are 7" x 8 1/2" in size.  Don't forget, all the weekly winners will be announced on Monday's post.  All for now, Sue x

Sunday smiles to you Sue and dear Wilsonettes. Barbie - have the most wonderful time today, and a really BIG thank you, almost !!!! One day : )

To my lovely ladies off to AP today, fill ya boots, spend spend spend, hope you manage to get to speak to the star of the show.
There is nothing about this card that I dont like. The rose stamp looks so beautiful and elegant watermarked on such a pretty coloured cardstock, and that ribbon is totally lush.

Mr L has suggested I do the same Pam, but so far the weather looks promising, so I may not be looking out of caravan windows 24/7 although I have some some flowers that have been cut that need putting together, although they are so pretty, I dont want to use them lol !
Sue. Hope yesterday went well, and that today will be another successful day for you - enjoy your day.

To my special Wilsonettes - this sentiment is made for you today, like Pam, I have many hugs to share if you are struggling. Off to read any posts I missed from last night before I settled down for yet another disturbed night sleep !
Stay strong. Love you.

MORNING SUE
At last we seem to have a lovely Autumn morning here with a little bit of sunshine and not a foggy patch in sight.
Today's gift is so beautiful and gentle that I defy any lady not to be delighted if this dropped through their letter box. I love the colours you have used and the stamp for your focal point is just to die for. It's wonderful to see such a beautiful WOW gift.

Steph - my main message for you is JUST HAVE A GOOD TIME AND ENJOY YOUR TRIP AWAY. You'll come back refreshed and raring to go. Just remember to take things easy.
Norah - hope your beautiful hills are comforting you and yours. I also hope that Rory has settled down into his new adventures in school/college.
Sandra - I hope you all enjoyed your day at AP and that Mr.S is having a day off today.

Am happy to say that Operation Table went very smoothly and Mr E did a great job and no missing pieces or left over screws. So everything's now in place and back to normal - if you can get normal in our house - so cannot wait to use it.

Sue hope you're having a fantastic week-end and to all my Wilsonette Sisters hope you get to meet and manage a little chat with Sue. I'm still now envious!!!!!!

To all who are in need in any way stay strong and take care. To everyone Take care and stay safe. See you tomorrow.

Hi Sue. What a beautiful card, it is so pretty, I love how you have stamped the sentiment then added those beads.
It was wonderful to finally meet and chat with you yesterday, and thanks for posing under that hilarious sign with the spelling error! It was a great way to end the show for me : ))
I must say that this show was the best I have ever been to. It is not too big to get around, there was plenty of room in between the stalls, and loads and loads of tables and chairs. The only draw back was
the temperature, boy was it hot at times!
It is so easy to say but I am sending you my genuine heartfelt thanks again Sue, for all of the enormous pleasure and inspiration that you give me : )) I hope today goes well for you.
It was also lovely to finally meet some other Wilsonettes : )
Lynne M-sending extra hugs to you.
Sending my daily love to you Sue, to Pam and Robbie, to Sandra and Pat-thank you again Sandra and Paul for taking us, I think Pat enjoyed herself as much as I did. I hope your ears have recovered Paul:), and to all of my other special friends and to all in need. Take care.

Hi Sue. A beautiful, elegant card today !! I just love this dusky pink colour card stock. I think now you have shown it to us, you really must get some for us !! It looks fab. I love the stamp that you have used to create the background. Like you say Sue, it is a lovely technique and gives such a wonderful subtle background effect. I also love the idea of using the sentiment like this and putting a pearl or gem in between each word.
Your Californian Decorative frames look great and the vintage labels seven stamps and dies look lovely. A wonderful big bow and stick pins finish this card off perfectly. This is a really lovely feminine, girly pink card !!
Thanks for sharing it with us Sue. I hope all is going well for you at Alley Palley again today. I hope you have another crafty fun filled day. Lots of love from Tres x x x

Norah, thinking of you and your family today. Sending you all lots of love from Tres x x x

Hi Sue

I WILL get around to picking this set up cos it's gorgeous! It is a lovely card and the dusky pink is a winner.

I shall have to be quick as I'm expecting a visitor. I hope those who have visited the AP this weekend have had a brilliant time. 4 great interviewees last week, if I can't narrow down I shall meet all four, telephone interviews were hard enough, shattered me!

Hopefully I can catch up with posts later, if not my love & hugs to everyone, especially if you are in pain, ill, having treatment or in recovery.

Sorry it's so short. Crafty hugs,

T x

Good morning Sue and my Wilsonette Angels,
What a beautiful card today Sue with the subtle background of watermarking. The colours and design is so beautiful and is just set off with the gorgeous big bow and hat pins. I hope that you are having a wonderful time down at the Ally Pally and meeting some more of the Wonderful Wilsonettes, mini Wilsonettes and honorary Wilsonettes aka Paul. Don't know that you will get much time for demoing or making with your legion of fans around you, but all i can say is you deserve such loyalty. I hope that all the Wilsonettes had and are having a wonderful weekend there and i just wish that i was there with you, but i am in spirit dear friends and don't do anything that i wouldn't do which leaves plenty of scope.
Lynne i am sorry to hear about your beloved other half and hope that they find out and treat what is wrong quickly as it plays as much havoc on you as it will hubby just because of worry. Can i send him a hug as well as you just so that he knows he is being thought about? Take care dear friend as i need some help in the nutty department or in others words someone just as daft as myself.((hugs))
Keep going Cheryl you are doing wonderful and even though you need another op i am so pleased for you that it hasn't spread to the lymph nodes.((hugs))
Have a lovely few days away at the seaside Steph with your 4legged baby and the wonderful Mr.Lancs. The sea air just might do you some good and as long as you have something to do as well, it should be good.
We are having a gorgeous day up here in Glenochil with hills looking on with serenity. We are trying to get mum's garden in some sort of tidiness as we have decided that when we get it all renovated we will move into it. It is a detached house with the park in front of it as opposed to our terraced house in the next street with houses in front of my lovely hills. I have happy memories in from my childhood home and so i can't think of a better house to move back too. What a work though its going to be just to empty it before we can make a start on it, but even if it takes a year to do everything it will be worth it. It was her Cala na Sith(haven of peace) and it was that for 30 years so it will be mine for the rest of my lifetime. Only problem at the moment is hubby and me agreeing on what is going in her back jungle/garden. It used to be so beautiful when she was fit enough to do her garden and one of those that had hidden spots and secrets. Now it is a wilderness and needs badly taken back but hubby wants more cleared than me, even though i know he is right as i am not able to do it and he really doesn't have the time to give it what it needs and now he is away in a sulk. Did i say i only had 2 children? I think the biggest one is the oldest in the household somehow. Awh well, i'll see you all tomorrow hopefully. sending hugs to all the Wilsonettes that are poorly, down or just need one,
Love and crafty hugs
Norah (Glenochil)

Hi Sue, lovely girly card today, right up my street. Lol lynne m x x x

Many many many thanks for all the messages of support and hugs that have come my way. Hubby is asleep so I am laid awake keeping an eye on him. It is unusual for my hubby to go to bed early so it is a definite sign he is unwell. In all of the 29+ years we have been married I can count the times he has been ill on the fingers of one hand and have some spare. I think the stress of worrying about him is making my hotch potch of illnesses/conditions worse. I'll hopefully will be back soon with the news he is ok and on the mend from whatever is wrong.

Norah - no worries I'll always be your partner in being daft, good to have you back.

To all my blinking marvelous bloggitastic buddies here a massive hug and lol lynne m &

Morning Sue. As i write this little post AP will have finished. Hope you had a great time demoing and meeting a lot of your great blog family and friends. Hoping you had a safe journey home and you get to put your feet up for a little while today. Todays card is beautiful. The watermark is very subtle but gives intrest to the background and your bows are stunning along with your stick pins. A very girly card but could be used for a variety of occasions. Could you do a little video of how you make your big double bows so us crafters have something to go back to when we get it wrong lol. Thanks
Take care and look after yourself.
Best Wishes.
