Morning Sue and everyone. Another lovely card, look forward to watching video later. Congrats to all winners
Pat L, a gentle hug for your brave little granddaughter, hope all is going well.
Cheryl, a massive hug for you, will be thinking of you for Fridayxx
Tandy, sorry things are not good for you, let's hope the hospital stay has a positive outcome for you.
Txcowgirl, your girl did you proud, well done to her.
Wheelybad I would give the Facebook idea a go, I am not usually a FB fan but a little club for us would be good.
I could also help out with die cuts for anyone in need.
Love and hugs to all, keep well. Special hugs for the babies and Rory too. Norah, behave yourself and slow down, the garden will be there next year too. Mine has been so neglected whilst I have been out of action, lawns get cut by someone but that's all.

Lots of congratulations to all the winners, you are in for a real treat with your goodies.

Have a great day everyone, keep safe, healthy and happy, hugs June Smith xxx

A truly beautiful gift. It has everything I love about it. As you say it's simple but so so elegant and really does look as though hours have been spent in the making. It's also in my favourite colour scheme but should look just as beautiful in many colour schemes. It fits my less is more file and has already taken up its new home for future reference.

Another busy day Knit and Natter this afternoon so have to get my things ready (at least it's not my turn to demo); Slow cooker to be put on so no prep for tea when I get back. New specs ordered. GP increased the strength of one of my tablets from yesterday's visit. May fall asleep this afternoon.
Love yesterday's ideas so count me in.

Off now to do slow cooker. To all who are in pain or feeling down hope today is a better day. To all take care and stay safe. See you tomorrow.

I think it's fantastic to share and support each other's blogs, I love it when I get a comment, it means so much that someone has taken the time to go and look!
My only reservation about a fb page is that I would never want people to visit there and not here, I think this was bought up a while ago, at the time that someone complained about personal comments on a crafting blog! I am not suggesting that it would happen but I know how very important Sue's Blog is to so many of us, to me it's a 'life line', having the comfort of knowing that I am amongst some of the most kind, caring folk in existence and I wouldn't want that to change, at all. Maybe run the idea by Sue first.
Congratulations to all of the lucky comment game winners!

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes. Before I forget, Im with Sandra regarding FB- sometimes these social media sites can get a bit 'iffy' it only takes just one mis-read, or 'text tone' to be taken in a way not meant, and it can cause so much upset. We are a majority of very caring people here, who would be totally lost and/or alone without Sue and Particraft, Id hate for anything to get in the way of that, whats the saying... If it aint broke dont fix it ?? Something like that I think. Anyway onto Tuesdays beauty and the card : ) you look so well and healthy on todays tutorial Sue. How you colour co-ordinate with the card which too is just beautiful and yet another fantastic way how to use your border die. Is it something you see when designing or after the process when you are 'playing' ? Like - oooo when that design is made up it will overlap to look totally different, or - wowzer, I didnt see that in the designing period ? Oh boy Im waffling. Its such another lovely card, made with wonderful dies, and a beautiful heart.
Congrats to all 6 lovely ladies, enjoy your gift.
50 years..... What a team xxx
To all my dear special lovely friends too many to name (you are so special) sending bouquets of hugs and painfree cuddles.

Hi Sue, Thanks to you for bringing us such a lovely card. That blue card is beautiful, I really must try and get some. I have the Austrian dies but not the Delicate Daisies, these have been on my wish list for ages but I think I will have to move them up a few places they are so pretty.

Anne C - Many Congratulations on your Golden Wedding Anniversary. Glad you enjoyed the cruise and you still have a party to look forward to! We share the date but I am 6 years behind you. Not having much family our celebrations are usually low key but if we make it, God willing, I think we will probably be looking to have a nice meal out with friends. I know I wouldn't get the OH on a cruise much as I would love to go on one:-)

Wheelybad - A closed group FB page is a good idea but setting one up and administrating it is a big job. It could be a useful tool for people to exchange ideas, post pictures of their creations and easily swap details of dies/die cuts but I would like to think that everyone would still visit Sue's blog every day. I know I would.

Good morning Sue and my Wilsonette Angels,
Sue, a bone to pick with you Ms. I know i come on to your site because of the beauty you bring to my life and i think i can say that about the other Wilsonettes too. I come back because of the friendship that you and my angels give me, for the sun in the darkest of days. I don't come on for what i can get and i don't think the others come for that reason either. We were the lucky ones that found your site and found friendship in a beautiful person from America, so please never ever apologise for card or comment giveaways again that either are delayed or cancelled for a very good reason. Steph i need you and my Wilsonette Angels to back me up in this please as i do think we are all the lucky ones.
Todays card is beautiful Sue in the blue and white. I am really enjoying the channel cards as they do look so different from normal. What a stunning blue that you have used today Sue, really vibrant. The tiniest of blue border around the layers just sets each off to perfection. And the daisies, well i love the daisies as they remind me of Livingstone Daisies in the garden that show their wee faces when the sun comes out.
Oh Pat L, what wonderful news that the wee one is on the mend. She must be doing so much better for them to let her out of the ICU. What a brave wee lassie she is going through 2 operations in the one week. Glad that the wee fella has perked up seeing his sister and mum and dad. Sometimes that can be the best medicine in the world. Sending hugs to your family just to let them know that they are in my thoughts and prayers.
Hope that you are feeling better Ita and finally on the way up again flower.
Cheryl, my thought and prayers will be with you on Friday. You are a brave young woman that will beat this horrible disease. I would give you my strength but i think you will actually do better with your own as mine is almost non existent at the moment. ((Hugs)).
Wheely, it is amazing just what a sander will do to those floor boards, it will bring them up like new for you and a coat of varnish or wax(but it needs constantly done) will finish them off perfectly. I am in on the FB club group flower if that is ok, although i am not one for sitting on FB and writing up all the nonsense that my friends seem to write about.
Tandy, i hope that when you are in hospital that they can help you and give you back some sort of a life filled with hope instead of the misery that it seems to be the now for you. Sending you hugs flower just to say hello and good luck.
Well done to all last weeks winners, i know you will enjoy your prize when it comes to you.
Dawn Searle, talk about enforced exercise, i don't think you get much more enforced if you tried just trying to lift those things. I bet some days you find muscles that you forgot you had, don't you?
Anne Crawford, many congratulations on your golden wedding anniversary. I wish both you and your husband a lot of love and best wishes on reaching such a wonderful anniversary.
Gail, sorry to hear hubby has not been feeling great, I hope that they can get to the bottom of it soon and it is none too serious.
Brenda, I hope you enjoyed every minute of your girlie holiday the only downside being getting back to reality. Welcome home flower.
Doing silly thngs the now like coming in the house to tell mum what we’ve done out the back only she’s not there. Really need to get head back together as it is obviously playing truant on me again. See you tomorrow girls when I will try and get my act together more, sorry.
Love and crafty hugs

Beautiful card Sue, must give it a try as never done a split channel before. Great video explains everything so well.
I would be happy to join a closed Facebook group if it was set up properly, would be nice to chat to other followers and not need to wait to the next day for an answer/reply.
Congrats to all the lucky winners!!!!

Hi Sue

So pretty, it's another 'why didn't I think of that?' As I've made cards with borders and skirts before. Will watch video later as I'm watching Phill on C&C!

Firstlys, I have emailed Sue with the concept behind using Facebook which is purely as a point of contact eg find the group/ page, see who wants to swap which cuts for what, use the personal messager to swap addressess OR have a closed group, and if you want to post a picture of something you made or share some ideas/ money saving tips. If it became more than that I'd think we'd all agree to end it there. I am thinking of a system to include any non Facebook users to run in parallel to this should it be wanted

And that's about it! I don't like spending ages on Facebook, and I'd far rather 'talk' to everyone here, but Facebook does have its uses, the only other one is google plus/ circles but I don't know enough about using it though I could learn. The reason I came up with it is it's a secure way to swap details without having to ask Sue to act as a go between. The email I put on yesterday in code is little used, not used for any shopping or membership to anything and has a very strong password so it was safe to put in a public place. It's not safe to put our details on here really as it could be used for any thing, we've all seen programmes about cyber crimes/ identity fraud. I don't want it to detract from the the blog at all, it's purely a convenient way to make contact. There's no other ways to do this really but it won't go ahead without Sue's blessing.

I hope I've clarified my position and put minds at rest.

Another 2nd interview today, we chatted for an hour and a half and although Billy was a little tinker at first he soon settled and was happy with her. I can see this decision being harder than choosing candidates then having the phone interviews. A days' break now and the third and last here on Thursday. Billy is asleep now, think I might join him but I'm knitting tiny 'bottle hats' for Age UK as the local branch helped me out with a list of cleaning companies that they have vetted in the past. As I'm not quite at their target group I thought I'd do something in return and it's a great way of using all those little leftovers and magazine freebies. Making the little pom poms to go on top is a pain in the seated area though! Thank goodness for dies and punches. Will be investing in pom pom makers if I need to make any bigger ones!

That's enough for today, those little hats won't knit themselves! Special hugs for Our Sue, Pat L, Sarah and their family, Leo and Skylar, Pam and Robbie, Norah and Rory, Alison, Lynda, Maria, Myra, Yorkielass June, Diane, Theresa, Janet Ecco, Sandra, Brenda, Lynne M and Fur Babies, Lindsay (hope you're ok, haven't seen you for a while, maybe as I'm posting at a different time), anyone I forgot too- I do it every time and try not to, extra hugs for you though, Hugs with very long arms, over the Seas to all the the non UK Wilsonettes, Extra big Special hugs if you're ill, in any type of pain, having treatment or recovering.

Happy Crafting

Hi Sue...what are you doing to me?!?!? Now I've got even more items to add to my wish list! This is a beautiful card and I think that by using red instead of the blue it would make a rather wonderful Ruby Wedding anniversary card for my sister. All I need to make it would be both daisy die sets, the leaf die and the borders lol. Not to worry though, I've got until next March to save up for them all. As always, thanks for sharing with us. x

Hi Sue,
Well! Where to begin! Sorry I was unable to post yesterday - the day ran away with me ! I had crafting with the children after school as well.
I loved yesterday's card. The Angel Die is lovely and you created such a lovely effect . I tried this with the poinsettia die and iced snow and it was lovely too. (got the idea from the one you did with the bough)
Today's card is just gorgeous. I love the blue and the whole effect is stunning but not too much work. I don't have that set - something else on the list!
I don't do Facebook I'm afraid so I would not get involved in that. I understand it would be helpful to some but I would be so afraid this lovely, very special blog would suffer. It would be a shame too if it split the blog or created a sort of inner circle. I don't wish to upset anyone , least of all Sue, but we have been asked for our opinion .
Wheelybad - I think it's really lovely that you have asked Sue. Happy knitting! Lol.x
Pat L - really thrilled at your good news about your little granddaughter. Do hope and pray she continues to make good progress and that the physio goes well. x
Anne - so pleased you have had a lovely holiday . Many Congratulations on 50 years together. Hope all the celebrations go well. We took friends out to lunch today - they will have been married 59 years tomorrow.
I was only 6 years old when they got married! The mind boggles!
Tandy - so sorry you having such a torrid time. Thinking of you and sending love.
Cheryl - thinking of you too! Praying all goes well on Friday. x
Txcowgirl -Dawn - didn't your daughter do well! Congratulations to her too.
Norah - you are doing so well - please don't be hard on yourself. Don't overdo the gardening young lady! xx
Sorry this is rather lengthy but Im trying to catch up!
Sending love to Sue, Anne, Steph, Julie L, Theresa,
Alison, Janet, Tres, Lynne M , Lynda, Sandra, June, Brenda L, Pam and Robbie, Leo and Skylar . Sorry if I've forgotten someone. X
Congratulations to all the winners. Enjoy your prizes.
Love Myra x

Hi Sue, such a beautiful card today. Love the daisies and wish the open and solid petals were one die set like classic rose rather than two. The channel technique is great, going to look at my border dies in a different way now. Gx

Fabulous card. I've just watched the video and it all looks so simple when you do it Sue. I have some of the dies you've used so I hope to try the diagonal channel using a different border and flower.

Hi Sue and all,
there you go thinking outside the box again Sue - I wish I could think inside it even, as I am lacking in inspiration when I look at my crafting things. I will try out your demos when I can see my table - it is buried under lots of things from my sisters which I could not bear to part with just yet - there will come a time when I can but not just yet.
Love and hugs to all in need today.
Thank you so much to Nana Tina, Wheely Bad, Myra P and Lynda from the babies for their daily hugs. Leo is doing amazingly well, I wish you could see pics of him - he is 9 weeks old now can you believe it - hope it won't be too long before he can go home.
