Wednesday Weekly Card Giveaway

Hello all!  I have a very pretty card for today's giveaway which combines some of my dies from the second release with the Christmas Festive dies.  I started by cutting an Austrian Background out of coconut white card.  I added mounting foam to the back and attached it over a Rich Red card piece.  I cut several Classic Poinsettias in red as well as the Filigree Poinsettias and layered them on each other for a tone on tone floral arrangement.  I added them to the corner with some white tulle and Petite Vinery cut in white.  I made one more matching flower, much smaller in size and saved it to add to the top of the sentiment.  I stamped my sentiment and covered it with a sticky adhesive sheet.  I cut it out with the tag from the Austrian Collection.  I peeled off the backing paper and covered it with Iced Snow before adding my poinsettia.  I added a thin red mat layer then a double white mat with an inner pierced layer.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/2" x  8 1/2" in size.  You know the drill, leave me a comment to be entered in the drawing to win this card.  The winner will be announced on Saturday's blog post.  All for now, Sue x

Hi Sue. This is so beautiful. I love the gorgeous Poinsettias and the red/white combo, it is so crisp and clean. Oh, I do wish I could get my fat little fingers on all of your fantastic dies at one go:) The Classic and Filigree Poinsettia and the Holly Sprays dies are sat at the top of my wish list, I can only afford to get one set this month and as I already have the Spellbinder Poinsettia that I can use I will go for the Holly Spray. But cards like this beauty make my sensible reasoning very hard to stick to : ))
Anne C - Congratulations to you and your hubby for the 3rd : ))
Sending my daily hugs to you Sue, to Pam, fingers are crossed for today, and Robbie, to Sandra-I don't think you are getting emails from Pat or me! I will text you - and Pat, all of my special friends and to all in need. Have a good day. Take care.

morning Sue
A simply gorgeous gift this morning and in traditional colours and to top it all it's a Give Away!!
You just cannot get any better than that. Your new flower dies are simply wonderful and just a dream to work with. My space is dusted off and patiently waiting for my piece of Sue Wilson Art. So it's finger/toes/and anything else I can manage crossed. Hoping you have recovered from your more than hectic schedule over the last few weeks and can now have a little bit of R&R. We just cannot have you going down with this horrible bug that's going around.

Norah - hope you have recovered from your 'jungle' expedition at the week-end. Just remember Rome wasn't built in a day and Mum wouldn't want you doing yourself a mischief. It all will be there when you go back so just take it steady PLEASE.
You will get your head together when it's ready. I lost my Mum 20 years ago and to this day I still talk to her out loud. I have a photo of us (showing 4 generations)on the stairs and when I really need her I sit there and have wonderful conversations. So please do not push or feel as though you have to get yourself together and do not apologise ever over your feelings.
I'm with you Norah re apologies and Sue. She never needs to apologise for any delays etc. I for one just do not know how she manages to do all she does physically never mind all the inspiration and thoughfulness we very lucky sisters get from this wonderful blog.
Pam - good luck for today and hoping you can get back to driving.

Right off now to have my Flu jab and then a little crafting me thinks. The rest of the week is totally mine then no apptments - wonderful.
To all who are under the weather hope you feel better soon and to all take care and stay safe. See you tomorrow.

Morning Sue from a bright, sunny but chilly Bolton. Morning/hi Wilsonettes, depending on when you Parti on with us.
Oh Sue, I hope you've made more than 1 of this sample - 1 as a gift and 1 to keep as I couldnt let this one go if Id made something as gorgeous, stunning, pretty, and as outstanding as your card today ! I just couldn't. Thank you for giving us all the chance to own a W.O.W. Wonder Of Wilson and how lucky will our friend be that is chosen, it would be the perfect addition to my black, white and grey lounge, so like everyone else I can only hope. Although I dont have the background I can use another, but the pointsettia I was so grateful and honoured and proud to win will look outstanding on whatever I make this season. Thank you.
I understand about the need for un-necessary apologies Sue, its our upbringing - I still apologise to my hubby and daughter if Im not well ! And for other reasons that dont need one, but we do understand how little regularities have to change when you are SO continuously busy and we dont mind as long as we have YOU and Particraft.
Pam - hope your appointment goes well, although all the stress and pressure driving puts on your feet, I worry ! Sorry. See ? Lol there I go.
To our new babies finding their new world a struggle - fight hard.
To our Princess Wilsonette in hospital, Grandma is so proud, you are doing so well little sugar.
To any Sisters undergoing treatment etc, thinking of you all.
To my beautiful friends both local and scattered around - thank you for being YOU.
And to those that are struggling with another day - my arms are open flowers ready to hug.
Love you.

It is such a good idea - just a touch of sparkle. Thanks for all the lovely Christmas ideas! Sending hugs.
Pam. - I do hope you get some very good news today from the Consultant and that you will be able to drive again. It's just that bit of independence which can make such a difference. hugs to you and Robbie.
Norah - special hugs to you and Rory too. Hope you have a good day. Don't do too much. x

Good morning Sue and my Wilsonette Angels,
What a beautiful card again today Sue. It is just stunning with the iced snow on the sentiment tag and the beautiful poinsettias, but there again i love poinsettias and yours are most definitely my favourites to go to. I do have SB ones but theirs just don't hold a candle to yours and the adjust ability that yours gives with their different cuts and sizes. I would need to change the with to ivory just to sort out my little foibles with red and white.
Pam, i am hoping that you get good news from the consultant today but remember you could be sore driving again just because of where your foot will sit, so don't overdo it please as i want you to be able to get out and about again and not stuck at home because you are so sore. I hope that our Robbie is improving by each passing day, getting stronger and fighting back at getting back to some of his former self again. He is doing so, so well with that strength of character that he has and determination, that George and Mary must be so proud of their son and so rightly so. Sending hugs to your family flower.
NannaTina, have you tried the wooden needles as they are so much gentler in your hands and more pliable. I tried the bamboo needles to start with as i have so many boomerang shaped metal needles and my hands were getting so sore holding them. Are finding them but they slowed down my knitting, i slowly bought the Knitpro Symfonie needles as they are sleeker and faster to knit with, having sharper points to them.If you want to try wooden ones let me know flower and i will send down the bamboo ones to you. Sue has my email address that i am quite willing for her to give you.
Pat i hope the wee lass is improving each day and another day nearer to being back home where she can be loved and fussed over.
Well off to finish the knitting that i need to get done for Friday. I hope to see you all tomorrow, sending hugs to all my special angels and the missing ones as well(Lynne and Lindsay). Hope that you all will have a lovely day,
Love and crafty hugs
Norah (Glenochil)

Today's card is gorgeous. I love your poinsettia dies and the background is lovely too. Need to get some iced snow I've decided!
Pam hope you get good news today, fingers crossed for you. Norah, take things easy we don't want you getting hurt or too tired. Cheryl thinking of you. Wheely re Facebook, I'm sorry but I don't do Facebook, I think it causes too many problems, but that is just my opinion. Hope everyone has a good day. Love and hugs to all, Alison xxxx

Hi Sue
Another WOW card - this is gorgeous and think I'm going to try my best to replicate... as my daughter has taken some of my cards so she can post from Hong Kong back to the UK!!
Many thanks to all for my birthday wishes - sorry I have had a busy few days with my daughter at home - so went for some retail therapy yesterday at Bluewater! Oh what joy!!!!
That's it now until January when we go to see her and will be the first visitors in her new flat. Hoping that all the unrest in Hong Kong has disappeared by then!
Well back to reality.

Norah again please take it steady and don't try and do too much all at once.
That's it my brain has said enough and I am afraid I cannot remember any other names so to all in pain, unhappy or suffering one way or another I send my love and hope your day is good.
Take care all Helen K xx
