Thanks

Hi everyone! I have to admit to a little bit of an obsession of late.  I just can't stop using this pretty spring green coloured card!  I have already used it for two of the cards I have made while I'm away too.  It is just so fresh looking!  When I started this card, I wasn't too sure where I was going, but I like how it came out.  I cut the Embroidered striplet die out of the spring green card and the largest size of the Seville cutting edge.  I used the Illusion embossing folder on  the Seville label to give it some texture.  I also cut two of the Spanish Corner dies out of coconut white card.  I cut a larger piece of coconut white card and arranged the pieces on it and glued them into place.  For my focal element, I cut the Hollywood die from the California Collection out of coconut white card.  I mounted it on foam in the middle of the card.  I stamped my sentiment and cut it out with the Spanish tag die.  I inked it lightly with Bundled Sage before removing it and mounted it on foam in the centre.  Using the Classic Rose die set, I made several flowers with bud centres.  This is easily achieved by simply cutting in from the scalloped edges and then following the Blossoms Five tutorial at the top of the blog.  Once completed, I "sugared" the flowers with Iced Snow and added them around the focal element.  The largest flower was seated atop a messy bow tied from white seam binding.  I made two decorative stick pins to match too.  I finished the card with a double white mat and used Cosmic Shimmer white PVA glue to dot all the way around the edge.  Finished dimensions are 7 1/4" x 9 1/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Hello Sue,
I love green, it comes in so many tones and hues that you will always find one to co-ordinate without other colours. Think of nature and the stunning colours of flowers throughout the seasons all with a backdrop of green. This is such a very pretty card, I love it.

Hi Sue,
Sorry not been blogging but have been checking in on all your beautiful designs there isn't a single one that I didn't love!! Thank you Sue for all your hard work and inspiration.
Gary had four and a half hours of surgery on Wednesday to rebuild his shattered and dislocated shoulder, and amazingly he has come home today . He has got to have at least six weeks of physio on both shoulders as the other one has a hairline fracture but didn't need surgery on that one . It's been a worrying ten days but hopefully he is on the mend now.
Thank you to all wilsonettes for their crafty hugs and best wishes they helped a lot and were much appreciated.

Love and hugs to you Sue and everyone

Love all things pale green, very fresh and spring like.
I think Sam is on C&C on Saturday with her new Nautical stamps, I thought I spied a Sue Wilson card with a ship on it and pierced edges but wasn't sure.
Hope you are having a relaxing time with your mum.
