Hello

Hi bloggers!  It seems that I have to admit to a bit of a mess up as today is supposed to be video day.  However, I did not realise that the video was not uploaded on to my blog until after hours last night.   What's more, it turns out that I have already posted that card on a non video day too(talk about being confused! LOL)  With 73 videos to coordinate and schedule,  I knew that there was bound to be a day like this so at least we have gotten it out of the way now!  The card was originally shown on March 31st if you would like to refresh your memory by scrolling back to see it there.

If you would like to watch the video that was supposed to have been shown today, you can go to our Youtube channel and watch it there.  Just  click on this link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g62GN_AOX6Y&list=PLTI0mqzyEa804c_gvQsHCEsPAETOUK5T5&index=14
and it should take you to "Sparkling Lace Panel."

Rather than just reposting the card again, I thought I would share a new card with you today.  I don't think that I have posted this card or made a video of it (but you never know! LOL)  I started by selecting some decorative paper from my stash (I picked it up at Hobby Lobby in Fl.) and I covered it with a piece of sticky adhesive sheet.  Before removing the backing sheet, I used the Decorative Frames outer cutting edge from the Italian collection to cut an offset aperture in my background.  Then I peeled the backing paper off and micro beaded it.  I added mounting foam to the back and mounted it over a piece of taupe card.  Using our cobalt blue card, I cut the Umbria die (from the Italian Collection) outer insert die with the decorative frames inner die piece.  I used another die from the decorative frames to emboss the pattern between the two cut areas to give me a lacy look.  I glued the piece into my recessed aperture and trimmed the side even to match.  I tied a double bow from some matching blue silky crush ribbon and added it to the side of the aperture with glue dots.  I stamped a sentiment and cut it out with a small die in the California collection set B.  I tucked the end of the tag under a decorative button and jute on my bow.   I made two fancy stick pins to add to my bow.   I finished the card by embellishing it with pearl swirls and adding several mat layers to match my card.  The final mats were paper pierced to give a framed and finished look to the card.  Finished dimensions are 6 1/2" x 8" in size.  All for now,
 Sue x

Hi Sue,
I'm always intrigued how you know what you've done so far - it's a continuous source of wonderment to me.
Had a short look at the video and remember the card well - you made it look so easy but I bet it's not.
I love the dusky pink and white. Prefer it to the taupe and blue card albeit the focal point is a stunner on that one (and, as usual, the stick pins).

Morning Sue and everyone
Today's card is stunning! Really love the colour combination. I don't have these dies but I think they're going on my wish list.
First day with Poppy the puppy was wonderful. She settled really well with no major upsets. The only thing she did yesterday was decided that some of my newly planted christmas cactus didn't really belong in THAT plant pot and promptly pulled them out ! Bless! No damage done, just replanted them in a different pot out of her reach. She's still fast asleep in her basket I think I got up too early for her lol! Thanks to all for your good wishes and if Sue doesn't mind I'll keep you updated with her antics.
Special hugs to Steph hope you're feeling better soon and keep strong (Pam you too)

I really don't know how you do it!
You have one of my days when (I'm not sure what day it is; there is something I must do or have done; where did I put it; and why have I come into this room what did I come for!!!!!!) the big difference is that you still produce the most beautiful gift and sort everything out!
Today's gift is just beautiful everything you have used just oozes quality and true craftmanship. I hope that is a word.
Got washing done and some sorting done yesterday. Have to sort out my craft box which travels everywhere with me this morning so hopefully at some time today I just might get a little crafting done. It's 7days since I did any - that's the longest absence for years. So it's fingers crossed.
Take care and see you tomorrow.

Hi Sue, once out of 73 videos slip up is nothing. You are amazing, I wish my organising skills were half as good as yours. If ever you need an assistant I'm sure there would be no shortage of volunteers. Todays card is stunning , love the vibrant cobalt blue card, works well with the taupe. Lol lynne m x x x

Fur babies were surprisingly well behaved during the day yesterday , which was unnerving to say the least. However, the mischief mode kicked in during the evening as both poochies thought it was a great idea to join hubby in the shower ( don't get it myself as they don't like going out in the rain!!!!). Well hubby wasn't amused but I was. Bedtime arrived and the song with lyrics " clowns to the left of me , jokers to the right " popped into my head with SNORES substituting "clowns n jokers" cuz hubby was one side of me and Cully the other, both snoring their heads off. Tilly was on the bottom of the bed with I'm sure her front paws in her ears. Definitely a lazy morning now to catch up on some sleep,

Lynda - thanks for the offer but I think Freddy is better off with you. My house is mad enough!!

To all my friends on this blog have a good day even if it is raining where you are , lol and hugs from Fur Babies and me x x x

Good morning Sue and fellow Wilsonettes,
A lovely card Sue although not a me as it has the off set die and embossing which my brain just cannot cope with. I am going to blame my mum as she is a perfectionist in everything that she has ever done and squint/off set just doesn't equate for her and because of this ideal, i have never been able to do anything that is not central in every way. Although i couldn't do this card i do know that it is a beautiful work of art that normal people would fall in love with and i can still appreciate the skill and thought behind it, i would just need to put it in the middle. Please Sue, take it easy please as you have been going in fast mode without stopping for a while now and even you needs a rest to recharge those vital battery cells. We don't care what card it is that you bring to us as all are superior to anyone else in card land, but we do care about you so please slow down and have a proper rest. Sorry, lecture over but i am sure that the rest of the Wilsonettes feel exactly the same about what you bring to us and YOU.
Julie, i am thinking of you and your "wee" boy as he will always be that and i really hope that they can find him some help soon to bring his heart rate down. Being a bronchitis and asthmatic myself it is frightening not only for him but for yourself seeing him like that and knowing that there is nothing you can do about it, but we are all thinking about him and sending up wee prayers.
Karen, i can not being to know how you feel at the loss of your son, but my mum can and i can by association as i lost my twin brother at the age of 20 to a drunk Captain, (Jim was in the TA) driving an over pack trailer and going to fast, but he is alive in my heart and mind everyday and still gets shouted at for doing things(long story), so my thoughts are with you at this rough time.
Paper Junkie great news about your sister getting home tomorrow, i hope she is feeling less sore as the days pass and getting stronger. As with Lindsays' mum and her broken ankle, i hope that it is getting back to normal and stronger. Lindsay, it must be very sore(been there and got the t-shirt) on you with the horses and grooming them as the stretching against the rib cage and the broken rib seems to take forever to get better. The horse liniment is that you get to rub into them when they are sore is wonderful stuff for us humans as well(talking from experience here and an old horse doctor). At the moment i am on the uddermint for the cows as it does help with the sore bits but you go around smelling of polo mints for the rest of the day, but i don't mind.
The right, for eejits like me, where is the SMOKE?? as i don't know. I thought it was in America in New York or somewhere like that. They say its wonderful to learn a new thing everyday, well this will be my new thing today.
Happy Birthday Teresa, hope you have a fantastic day, enjoy.
Steph, try putting a sock with warm salt in it up to your face in the attempt to soothe it flower as anything is worth a try against pain.
Going back to bed as this spell doesn't seem to be lifting, but i hope that you are all having a lovely day and if not i hope that it is shining in your heart. Sending gentle hugs to our most precious of friends that are going through a hard time. From a beautiful day up here at Costa de Glenochil where the sun is shining and my hills are so beautiful today. Along at the hill at the back of Tillicoultry, thee is an image built in to the rock and hillside that looks like Bonnie Prince charlie with a handful of heather in his hand, striking out with the hand as if to say "Go forth". See you tomorrow,
Love and crafty hugs
Norah (Glenochil)

I really love your colour combination of Taupe and Cobalt Blue today and your card is stunning.
You are certainly forgiven for your little slip-up today. You are such a busy lady I don't know you manage to fit everything in anyway!
Thinking of you in sunny Florida as we have a horrible wet and windy day in West Sussex.

Hi Sue, 73 cards and videos galore and you worry about one little timing hiccough!! My senior moments are coming too often for my liking and I know I could never keep pace with your workload though that's what retirement does for you!! Liking the richness of the blue you have chosen for this card and I'm finding I keep going to the little die from the California set to add a sentiment to a card, it's so useful. Love from Jackie D

It's hardly surprising that things go awry once in a while! You're always on the go - jetting across the Atlantic, creating amazing cards for your blog, designing stamps, dies and embossing folders, phew! The Sparkling Lace video was great and I love today's card. The cobalt blue is a stunning colour especially against the taupe.

Hi Sue, and blog friends

I love the offset look, it's really different, and the colour of that bow is gorgeous. The colours from the paper in your background just peaking through the micro beads looks very pretty.

With it being Bank holiday Monday, I had'nt realised it was Thursday already, I think you might have got away with that little slip, anyway the card more than makes up for it.

Can't wait to hear from Cameeli, I wonder if she sneaked off on the Honeymoon.

Kind regards to you all. :-)

I'have to find out how to enlarge the font on my new short horror I pad. The Aussie rello's have had a fab day visiting places. hated Woodstock as there was nowhere tho park. as because it's free all the computers park their. And there is no parking for visitors. So no visits hardly as theirs is no parking anywhere. Good evening Sue
You seem to cram at least 30 hours into every 24 hours each day with all that you do for our benefit so one very tiny hiccup really is nothing. Please don't you worry we are all so grateful for all you do for us so freely.
Such a beautiful card today so rich and more than a touch of luxury with that ribbon, love it.
We have had emergency ward two and a half today at home, hubby had a fire door close on his thumb all I will say is, oh ouch! I will spare you the details but we were having trouble stemming the bleeding even with the corgis offering to help with the bandages, so took him to the hospital. They dressed it and then said 'oh your wife made a better job, would she like a job doing dressings?' He told them he was lucky I could fit him in as I was busy making cards so there was no chance for anyone else!!! lol
Warm wishes and hugs to those who need them.
